Ruth 4: Boaz Tries To Get The Guardian-Redeemer To Buy Naomi's Property
1 Meanwhile Boaz went up to the town gate and sat down there just as the guardian-redeemer he had mentioned came along. Boaz said, “Come over here, my friend, and sit down.” So he went over and sat down.
2 Boaz took ten of the elders of the town and said, “Sit here,” and they did so.
3 Then he said to the guardian-redeemer, “Naomi, who has come back from Moab, is selling the piece of land that belonged to our relative Elimelek.
4 I thought I should bring the matter to your attention and suggest that you buy it in the presence of these seated here and in the presence of the elders of my people. If you will redeem it, do so. But if you will not, tell me, so I will know. For no one has the right to do it except you, and I am next in line.”
“I will redeem it,” he said.
5 Then Boaz said, “On the day you buy the land from Naomi, you also acquire Ruth the Moabite, the dead man’s widow, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property.”
6 At this, the guardian-redeemer said, “Then I cannot redeem it because I might endanger my own estate. You redeem it yourself. I cannot do it.”
7 (Now in earlier times in Israel, for the redemption and transfer of property to become final, one party took off his sandal and gave it to the other. This was the method of legalizing transactions in Israel.)
8 So the guardian-redeemer said to Boaz, “Buy it yourself.” And he removed his sandal.
9 Then Boaz announced to the elders and all the people, “Today you are witnesses that I have bought from Naomi all the property of Elimelek, Kilion and Mahlon.
10 I have also acquired Ruth the Moabite, Mahlon’s widow, as my wife, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property, so that his name will not disappear from among his family or from his hometown. Today you are witnesses!”
11 Then the elders and all the people at the gate said, “We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the family of Israel. May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem.
12 Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah.”
Naomi Gains a Son
13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.
14 The women said to Naomi: “Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel!
15 He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth.”
16 Then Naomi took the child in her arms and cared for him.
17 The women living there said, “Naomi has a son!” And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.
The Genealogy of David
18 This, then, is the family line of Perez:
Perez was the father of Hezron,
19 Hezron the father of Ram,
Ram the father of Amminadab,
20 Amminadab the father of Nahshon,
Nahshon the father of Salmon,
21 Salmon the father of Boaz,
Boaz the father of Obed,
22 Obed the father of Jesse,
and Jesse the father of David.

Boaz Questions Ruth in the Field | Ruth 2:1-4
Now Naomi had a relative on her husband’s side, a man of standing from the clan of Elimelek, whose name was Boaz. And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.” Naomi said to her, “Go ahead, my daughter.” So she went out, entered a field and began to glean behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she was working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan of Elimelek. Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters, “The Lord be with you!” “The Lord bless you!” they answered.

Babs Consoles the Children – A Babs and Harold Conversation
In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. So a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons, went to live for a while in the country of Moab. The man’s name was Elimelek, his wife’s name was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Kilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem, Judah. "Zachob." From the Book of Ruth 4: 9-12.
The Book of Ruth, which is a coda on the Book of Judges, llustrates how to have good taste when deciding the future. The best of the best can only be discerned if one is willing to search and create a lasting solution that contains none of the potential for the mistakes of the past.
Ruth, a blooming prophetess shags every farm boy in town and still can't find a new coatrack, so her mother in law, the church elders, the mayor, the community decide to collude to tie this whore down themselves. God Himself finally intervenes in the present tense and says it is time for Ruth a "vision of friendship" to marry with Boaz, "man's personal vigor."
The union of the two means a restart for all of Israel explained below. Its re-enactment is explained as the result of four turns:
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 9: The First Turn is always into uncertainty. In this case it involves an announcement and witnesses= a legal proceeding. The regal question is, "Who is God?" and the next is "What is man?"
If we witness God's power, and there is no way to avoid this, why are we subjecting ourselves to the obvious attempts of wicked men to usurp a power they cannot hope to possess?
God is a legal authority He is the landowner. This is undisputed. We are tenants. So why on earth have I been seeing Geoff Tunicliffe and Sandra Blatte, very well known child molesters in public alongside Donald Trump and walking talking mishap as he illegally campaigns for a second term in the White House?
God has forbidden sex between adults and kids, He has forbidden corruption, stealing, lying, murdering, and worship of other men, and but nonetheless, this happens in color on TV every single day in front of a dumbstruck world.
There is no way to ask this globally interconnected mankind to accept this, not after these very same persons collaborated on that attack on Israel on October 7. The evidence is pure, it has been given to the public. By allowing Donald Trump etc. to campaign, the US Government is in serious arrears in the performance of its duty and this must not be allowed. Because the White House has hesitated, and lives were lost, the penalties on all involved must be the most severe possible.
This message is contained in the Kabbalah formed by the four Hebrew terms above: Naomi Elimelech Kilion Mahlon "Find the most pleasant view from the highest window."
Height in the Torah is "the most ethical, the greatest enlightenment."
Why can't the US Government understand this?
The Number is 7651, זוהא, "This is it."
v. 10: =The Second Turn is towards awakening. "I have acquired the friendly part of the Moabite, the tradition so it will not die." The Number is 11735, יאזגה, yazga, "like pure olive oil or very fine frankincense=conduct that is pure."
This involves what is known as Chochmah:
"The verb זכך (zakak) means to be pure or clean. It occurs less the half a dozen times in the Bible (Job 9:30, 15:15, 25:5, Lamentations 4:7). Its derivations are:
The adjective זך (zak), meaning pure or clean. This word is used to describe olive oil that is free from foreign substances (Exodus 27:20, Leviticus 24:2) or frankincense of that same quality (Exodus 30:34, Leviticus 24:7). The same word may describe a man (Job 8:6), a man's ways (Proverbs 16:2), conduct (Proverbs 20:11), philosophy (Job 11:4) or prayer (Job 16:17).
The feminine noun זכוכית (zekokit), meaning glass. This noun occurs only once, in Job 28:17, where Job prizes it next to gold but both as less valuable than wisdom (see our article on the name Hochma)."
v. 11: The Third Turn is towards understanding. Awareness desires are not enough. One can chant Namah Shivaya all day long for example in order to awaken the mind to the possibility of the reality of a Greater God, but one must become Shiva if one wants to understand the personage of the Supreme Being, and Jews are forbidden by the Torah to settle for less.
The verse concludes, May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem, "may you have many branches of understanding in the House of War."
= Jews are expected to split the creation into mini-disciplines, understand each one down to their primary particles and maintain this knowledge so the process nor its fruits are ever lost. Especially where the religion is concerned.
"Verb פרה (para) means to bear fruit or be fruitful. Noun פרי (peri) means fruit in its broadest sense. Noun פר (par) means young bull and פרה (para) means young heifer. Note that the first letter א (aleph) is believed to denote an ox-head, while its name derives from the verb אלף (aleph), to learn or to produce thousands.
The second letter, ב (beth) is also the word for house (or temple or stable). The familiar word "alphabet," therefore literally means "stable of bulls" or "house of divisions" or "temple of fruitful learning".
Noun פרא (para') is a word for wild donkey. The young bovines were probably known as fruits-of-the-herd, but donkeys in the Bible mostly symbolize lone wanderings and humility."
A fine education is the primary weapon of the House of Israel in the fulfillment of the Covenant God made with Abraham.
The Number is 11531, יאהגא, yahaga, "you have to go all the way."
"The verb חגג (hagag) describes a gathering up of people in order to celebrate or hold a feast, specifically any of the three main pilgrimage feasts that Israel was to celebrate (Exodus 23:14-16).
These feasts were huge affairs that caused the entire daily economy to cease for many days and pretty much the whole population to be on the move; this to the great delight of the Israelites but much to the chagrin and bewilderment of the various occupying forces (who had trouble enough with the Hebrew insistence on a whole day off per every seven). The three main feasts were:
The Feast of Unleavened Bread, better known as Pesah or Passover. This feast was held at the beginning of the agricultural year.
The Feast of the Ingathering of First Fruits. This feast was held at the beginning of the productive season.
The Feast of the Harvest, to be held when the harvest was done.
Our verb may also denote festive behavior as if one was at a feast (1 Samuel 30:16). The Arabic equivalent means "to betake oneself to or towards an object of reverence" (says BDB Theological Dictionary) and this verb returns in the prescribed pilgrimage to Mecca: the Hadj.
In Psalm 107:27 our verb is used in the meaning of to reel; to whirl around. Since the object of the verb is sailors in a storm, the connection to festive swirling may not seem very clear.
Here at Abarim Publications we surmise that our verb deals with the same kind of circular and symbiotic dependency as does the verb זבח (zabah), meaning to sacrifice. The action of the verb then describes the transition from a large and slow circular motion to a concentrated, small and fast one; the large circular motion would constitute life in its daily symbiotic synchronicity, whereas the smaller, faster one would result from people gathered for their feast.
This verb demonstrates that feasts and storms form virtually in the same way and for the same reason: to alleviate tension and release energy."
v. 12: The Fourth Turn is towards enlightenment: May your family live in peace. The Number is 9862, ץחוב, "jump out, jump in again."
=
"Politely, grab the golden one by the testicles."
"The noun עקב ('aqeb) most literally means heel, but — since the word for foot, namely רגל (regel), euphemizes the male genitalia — is closely associated to a man's testicles, and hence his inner motivations and intentions (when wearing a long robe, the heel was the most obvious part of one's largely invisible legs).
Just like the noun for knee yields the verb to kneel (i.e. to be blessed: to be so safe and well stocked as to sit in repose), so the verb עקב ('aqab), "to heel", tells of either (a) having someone "by the balls", i.e. manipulating them, taking control over their subconscious motivations, and (b) discretely covering one's own intentions, will and sentiments.
In the Bible, one's enlightened ratio was considered solar, whereas one's conscious feelings were lunar — and the sun, of course, was the quintessential revealer of the moon.
Both having a grip on someone's else's instincts and hiding one's own intentions could be alarming signs of deceitfulness, but in modern times one's ability to retain one's composure irrespective of one's feelings became a telling sign of one's gentility.
The rise of polite society, unfortunately, went hand in hand with the rise of mass manipulation and propaganda, which the general public tends to frown upon (also because the general public rarely considers the alternative: a world without a uniform subliminal guidance).
In Biblical times, the virtues of manipulation and politeness were obviously not clear to everyone and our root was mostly associated with trickery and scheming: adjective עקב ('aqeb) means beguiling; adjective עקב ('aqob), insidious or deceitful; adjective עקב ('aqob), tricky or treacherous (of terrain). Noun עקבה ('aqeba) means deceitfulness and noun עקב ('eqeb), consequence."
It all boils down to how the universe works. If the love of money is the root of all evil, then the love of giving it away is the root of all that is good."

The story of Ruth in the Bible is a demonstration that regardless of a person's origins, a sapiential teaching is always fulfilled: "Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him" Psalm 128:1. The Moabites were in the Bible history a pagan nation in conflict with Israel, but the story of Ruth, the moabite woman, reveals to men that God's mercy (compassion, kindness, gentleness) is always open to those who sincerely seek Him. To such an extent is this truth, that Ruth is considered the great-grandmother of King David. The Book of Ruth begins by telling its story with the arrival of Elimelek and his family to work in the fields of Moab, because there was a drought in Judah. The Book of Ruth tells us that time passed and the sons of Naomi and Elimelek married local women, Orpah and Ruth. But Elimelek died and so did her sons, leaving the three women alone. Naomi then decided to return to her hometown, Bethlehem of Judah; Orpah returned to her parents' house, but Ruth decided to follow Naomi. And when Naomi insisted to Ruth not to follow her, Ruth responded with determination and fear of God: "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried" Ruth 1:16-17. In this way, the two women arrived in Bethlehem of Judah, and with time Ruth managed to marry Boaz, the man who by the law of the levirate had to answer for her and Naomi. And Ruth had the blessing that Boaz fell in love with her more for her virtue than for her beauty, and Boaz told her so: "All the people of my town know that you are a woman of noble character" Ruth 3:11. Ruth's story teaches that the path to happiness and personal fulfillment is the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion), without this gift nothing is possible.

Dating Principles
Before I share about some principles concerning dating, I want to share something that has stood out to me from the book of Ruth. Ruth was a young widow; whose late husband was from a nation called Moab. In addition to the Moabites worshipping false gods, Moab and Israel were nations in conflict. Now Ruth’s mother in law was called Naomi. And Naomi’s husband, Elimelek, decided to move his family…

Explain in your own words what you just read:
The book of Ruth tells the extraordinary story of God’s faithfulness to Israel in the life and work of three ordinary people, Naomi, Ruth and Boaz. As they work through both economic hardship and prosperity, we see the hand of God at work most clearly in their productive agricultural labor, generous management of resources for the good of all, respectful treatment of co-workers, ingenuity in the face of necessity, and the conception and raising of children. Throughout everything God’s faithfulness to them creates opportunities for fruitful work, and their faithfulness to God brings the blessing of provision and security to each other and the people around them.
Commitment / what will i do : I will observe the festival of harvest, of the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field

Ruth and Naomi Come to Bethlehem
1 During the days of the judges, a famine occurred in the land. So a man left Bethlehem in Judah to stay awhile in the territory of Moab—he, his wife, and his two sons. 2 The man’s name was Elimelek, his wife’s name was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Kilion. They were from the clan of Ephrath from Bethlehem in Judah. They entered the territory of Moab and remained there.
3 But Elimelek, Naomi’s husband, died, so she was left with her two sons. 4 They then married Moabite wives. The name of the first was Orpah, and the name of the second was Ruth. They lived there for about ten years. 5 But Naomi’s sons, Mahlon and Kilion, also died. So the woman was left without her two children and without her husband.
6 Then Naomi set out with her daughters-in-law to return from the territory of Moab, because while she was in the territory of Moab, she had heard that the Lord had graciously visited his people by providing them with food. 7 So she left the place where she had been, and her two daughters-in-law left with her. They set out on the road to return to the land of Judah.
8 But Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, “Go back. Both of you return to your mother’s house. May the Lord show you kindness as you have shown kindness to the dead and to me. 9 May the Lord grant that each of you finds security in the house of a husband.” Then she kissed them, and they wept loudly.
10 But they said to her, “No, we will return with you to your people.”
11 Then Naomi said, “Turn back, my daughters. Why should you go with me? Am I going to give birth to any more sons who could become your husbands? 12 Turn back, my daughters. Go! For I am too old to be married to another husband. Suppose I say, ‘I have hope, and I will be married to another husband tonight, and I will even give birth to sons.’ 13 Would you wait for them until they grow up? On the basis of that hope would you give up the chance to marry another husband? No, my daughters. It is much more bitter for me than for you, because the hand of the Lord has reached out against me.”
14 They once again wept loudly. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth would not let her go.
15 Naomi said, “Look, your sister-in-law has returned to her people and to her gods. Go back! Follow your sister-in-law.”
16 But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to abandon you or to turn back from following you. Because wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you make your home, I will make my home. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 17 Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely and double it if anything but death separates me from you.”
18 When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her.
19 Then the two of them traveled until they arrived at Bethlehem. When they entered Bethlehem, the whole town became excited over them. The women said, “Is this Naomi?”
20 But she said to them, “Do not call me Naomi. Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made me very bitter. 21 I went away full, but the Lord brought me back empty. Why should you call me Naomi? For the Lord has testified against me, and the Almighty has treated me badly.”
22 So Naomi returned with Ruth the Moabite, her daughter-in-law, who came back with her from the territory of Moab. When they entered Bethlehem, it was the beginning of the barley harvest. — Ruth 1 | Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) The Holy Bible, Evangelical Heritage Version®, EHV®, © 2019 Wartburg Project, Inc. Ruth 2: Ruth Gleans In The Fields, Then Meets Boaz And Finds Favor In His Eyes
1 Now Naomi had a relative on her husband’s side, a man of standing from the clan of Elimelek, whose name was Boaz.
2 And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.”
Naomi said to her, “Go ahead, my daughter.”
3 So she went out, entered a field and began to glean behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she was working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan of Elimelek.
4 Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters, “The Lord be with you!”
“The Lord bless you!” they answered.
5 Boaz asked the overseer of his harvesters, “Who does that young woman belong to?”
6 The overseer replied, “She is the Moabite who came back from Moab with Naomi.
7 She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves behind the harvesters.’ She came into the field and has remained here from morning till now, except for a short rest in the shelter.”
8 So Boaz said to Ruth, “My daughter, listen to me. Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay here with the women who work for me.
9 Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the women. I have told the men not to lay a hand on you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.”
10 At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?”
11 Boaz replied, “I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband—how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.
12 May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
13 “May I continue to find favor in your eyes, my lord,” she said. “You have put me at ease by speaking kindly to your servant—though I do not have the standing of one of your servants.”
14 At mealtime Boaz said to her, “Come over here. Have some bread and dip it in the wine vinegar.”
When she sat down with the harvesters, he offered her some roasted grain. She ate all she wanted and had some left over.
15 As she got up to glean, Boaz gave orders to his men, “Let her gather among the sheaves and don’t reprimand her.
16 Even pull out some stalks for her from the bundles and leave them for her to pick up, and don’t rebuke her.”
17 So Ruth gleaned in the field until evening. Then she threshed the barley she had gathered, and it amounted to about an ephah.
18 She carried it back to town, and her mother-in-law saw how much she had gathered. Ruth also brought out and gave her what she had left over after she had eaten enough.
19 Her mother-in-law asked her, “Where did you glean today? Where did you work? Blessed be the man who took notice of you!”
Then Ruth told her mother-in-law about the one at whose place she had been working. “The name of the man I worked with today is Boaz,” she said.
20 “The Lord bless him!” Naomi said to her daughter-in-law. “He has not stopped showing his kindness to the living and the dead.” She added, “That man is our close relative; he is one of our guardian-redeemers.”
21 Then Ruth the Moabite said, “He even said to me, ‘Stay with my workers until they finish harvesting all my grain.’”
22 Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, “It will be good for you, my daughter, to go with the women who work for him, because in someone else’s field you might be harmed.”
23 So Ruth stayed close to the women of Boaz to glean until the barley and wheat harvests were finished. And she lived with her mother-in-law.

Ruth 2:1-4:22, John 4:43-54, Psalms 105:16-36, Proverbs 14:26-27
Today is the 6th day of May welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I'm Brian it is great to be here with you at this beautiful time of the year here in the rolling hills of Tennessee. Whether rain or shine it's just a beautiful…yeah…when the seasons transition it’s just a beautiful month. It gets hot here. That's coming. That's how summer is but it’s a beautiful time of year and I trust that it is lovely no matter where you are. And if it's not lovely, we…we have this place, this little oasis around this Global Campfire where there’s always peace. And we can always come here and exhale, right, and just breathe and let the Scriptures wash into our lives. And, so, let's move in that direction. We’re reading from the New International Version this week. We concluded the book of Judges yesterday and turned a page and entered into the book of Ruth, which is where we find ourselves situated today. And it…it's a shorter…it's a shorter book. So, we began it yesterday. We’ll conclude it today. Ruth chapters 2, 3, and 4.
Commentary:
Okay. So, we concluded the book of Ruth today. And yes, a breath of fresh air. What a beautiful ending to a story that was really a very very bitter story in the first place. It’s a story a famine in the land. And we've seen famine in the land of Canaan before, right? That's how the children of Israel, those first-generation children of Jacob ended up in Egypt because there was famine in the land. And Joseph had gone before and there was provision. So, there's famine in the land again and in this case a family, the Elimelek family, they have to go to Moab and the sons of Naomi and Elimelek, they had Moabite wives. Now, Moab basically is on the other side of the Dead Sea. Moab is sort of the territory of modern-day Jordan. In centuries past when the children of Israel were kind of wandering around the wilderness, we remember stories with Moab, like the story of Ballam, sent to curse them and he couldn't. He could only bless them, right, with king Balak. So, there's some history here. Ruth is a Moabite woman who will not leave her Hebrew mother-in-law. I mean on the one hand, it's a noble thing at all to stay with your mother-in-law but she's leaving her country. She's leaving her family. She's leaving her people. She's telling Naomi that “wherever you go, I will go. Your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die. Like your people will be my people.” So, Ruth is, in so many ways, putting her in her life in Naomi's hands because they do go back to her people and she does have to find a way to…to eat. So, she does have to go and…and basically glean from the leftovers anything that she can. And we see this provision is made in the Levitical law, this provision for the foreigners among you, right, the orphans and the widows…like a way for people to still find food. And, so, she's doing this and that's when Boaz comes onto the scene and doesn't take too long before Naomi recognizes what's going on here and what could go on here and how this could be a…this could provide for Ruth because Ruth’s gonna outlive Naomi. And, so, she needs this kind of covering and this kind of protection because she's a foreign woman. So, she mothers Ruth. Naomi mothers Ruth and mentors Ruth and shows her the way to signify to Boaz that she…that she's available. And she guides her through this process with dignity, right? She's not like, “okay Ruth, here's what you do. Boaz is a little bit older. You can seduce him. You’re a younger woman. So, when he has little to drink after the harvest or whatever then you find out where he went to sleep and then you go teach them the ways of the world girl.” That’s just…that…that's not what happened. She signified by laying at his feet. He woke up and responded with dignity and character - the entire process. We see like something finally is through and through done with character and uprightness. And, so, Ruth and Boaz are appropriately married and she has a son, which changes the whole complexion of Naomi's bitter life into joy and brings a child to an elderly father in Boaz and the reputation of Ruth only grows as a faithful, committed, dignified, valiant woman. And as the story goes, as were told when we get the genealogy at the very very end, we find that Ruth and Boaz are the great-grandparents of a man who would become king of Israel, David, king David, the author of so many of the Psalms whose story we have not come to yet but we’re about to before too long. And, so, let's just let this story sink into our hearts and minds as we meditate upon it for…well…for as long as we think about it. Character matters. Faithfulness to God matters. Wisdom matters. There is a way to live with honor and when we do tragedy has a way of working itself out. And although weeping may last a night the joy comes in the morning.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word. We thank You for bringing us to this point where we can read the story of Ruth as we continue to just experience the changing of the seasons. And we ask Holy Spirit, come plant the Scriptures into the depths of our lives so that they can speak to our very identity transforming us, showing us the path ahead. Come Holy Spirit we pray in the name of Jesus. Into all this we pray. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi, everyone it's Lisa the Encourager. I'm calling to let you all know that I lost my daddy this past Thursday April 29th. And I'm very blessed because I had a wonderful dad, and he was a Christian man and he raised us, all my brothers and sisters up in the Lord and taught us. He was a wonderful example for all of us and I'm so thankful for that. I know everyone doesn't have that. And he had some health concerns and he's overcome a lot over the years. He was 85 and I was blessed to be with him at the time he passed and could look right in his eyes and tell him how much I loved him. And I knew that at that moment he transitioned and was able to be in the open arms of our Savior. And that's a true blessing for me. Although it's been very difficult and I've been very sad, like I said I'm very grateful that I had that opportunity to have a wonderful father. And through this I just want to continue to pray for two of my brothers that have walked away from their beliefs. And I just would ask for your prayers for their Salvation or the reassurance or knowing and knowledge and acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ. Their names are Daryl and Shane. And I would just pray that you would pray with me for their salvation and renewed faith through this time of our funeral services for our dad or just in life in general. If you could pray for their Salvation, I would greatly appreciate it and just that we’ll have peace as we have the funeral. My mom is transitioning with…
DABber family, this is the Burning Bush that will not be Devoured for the Glory of our God and King. I just got off the phone with family in Chad, central Africa. There is a war there. The president got killed in battle. They’re stranded in the capital city. The borders are closed and so are the airports. Can you please pray. I'm not sure I understood exactly what's going on, but I heard that Boko Haram was also in the mix with the fighting. And this is a Christian family. I pray for all the believers out there, just all the citizens, the innocent people. God, I pray for protection in Jesus’ name. And God I pray for peace in Chad. Oh my God, yeah….
Good morning DAV family this is David from Texas. Ultimately, I just wanted to call in and thank you guys because this is a community that I never had before. Before the pandemic I never had, you know, certain convictions that I…that…that were on my heart. I was raised by a pastor and a very God-fearing woman but, you know, I was just kind of walking through the steps. And…and…and by chance I found this podcast and my life has changed just by going through the Bible in these first couple months of the year…few months of the year. I really…I really pray that you guys…you know…I'm 21 years old, I'm in college, and I'm going through a phase where I'm trying to separate myself from a lot of the habits that I had before. And I pray that you guys, you know, can…can send your prayers out for me and strengthen me in this time because I do feel like I have a calling, you know, to speak to people and help people. But sometimes I struggle with, you know, being a hypocritical Christian, you know, not…not…not in that I'm telling people to do things that I'm not doing, but I don't feel like I can give people advice and speak to people when I'm…I'm still…I'm still kind of living the way that I used to and it's hard to phase out the things that I used to do. So, I thank you guys. Thank you, Brian. You know, this is this is a really great platform. And God bless you guys. Thank you.
Good morning DABbers again. This is B from Ireland. First of all, Brian, Jill, congratulations on China and Ben's baby, Reagan. Congratulations. I pray that Reagan will live in the footsteps of her ancestors, mainly you and Jill, that that baby will grow up in favor and stature before God and man, that that baby would do great exploits for God, do greater things than you and Jill and even China and Ben ever will do, that the generation of blessing that is so evident in the life of your family continues through Reagan the Great in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you for all you do. Thank you for this platform. It's been a lifesaver. I'm six years in, I think. I started 2016. Is that six years? Yes, I think. And I can't begin to say what Daily Audio Bible has done for me, in me through the work that you're doing. May God continue to bless the work of your hands and the mighty name of Jesus. And I want to use this opportunity to give, you know, a call to all DABberds to give to the Daily Audio Bible ministry however way you can. You know, sacrificially or if it means that you, you know, share your tithes with this ministry because this ministry feeds you every day. So, this is what I do. I don't pay all my tithes to my church. Occasionally I do tithe into this ministry because in a funny way Brian also serves as my pastor. And before I sign out, I want to pray for Rachel a lady who had covid. Oliver, you called. You said your sister Rachel had covid. I pray healing into her body right now in the name of Jesus and restoration in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is higher than any other name and at the name of Jesus covid bows.
Hey DAB family this is Sparky from Texas. Monday May 3rd and I wanted to take a minute and pray for a couple people that last Friday was…it hit my heart. Running Bear, I'd like to pray for you and hope that…hope that your healing, your family gets the healing that it needs and sees the love and the Christianity of this community. I'd also like to pray for Norman with the diagnosis and hoping to speak to his family. Let's just go ahead and pray together. Father we come to You and we thank You for Running Bear and both Norman Lord. We ask that You touch their hearts and help them to feel Your healing touch and help them to feel the love of Jesus and the kindness and help them to guide…help guide them to let people see Your light in them Father and to trust You. Father I…I pray for Running Bears family, that he meets the Christian part of our family and the part of You that You told us to be like. Father also pray that You heal Norman in the name of Jesus. There's some powerful things You do Father, and we know that You can heal it. Help to bring his family back together Father and move mountains. You move mountains so much. Father we thank You for everything You do, for every one of us. Amen. I love you guys. Pray for every one of you every time I hear request. I love you all and be blessed.
Hi DAB family my name is Kristen and I'm calling from Oceanside CA and I am a first-time caller, and I was introduced to the DAB family, the DAB community November 2019. And this year is the first year since I was introduced that I have made it a goal to listen every single day. And that has made me so happy and so strong. I am so thankful for the DAB family and I am just overjoyed about Reagan. And I…I love hearing your prayers and I love being able to pray for you. I'm calling to ask for prayer that someone…I…I get spiritual guidance in my life. I don't have many people...I…I have one person that's close to me that believes Jesus died for our sins and that is our heavenly Lord. And it is hard because I need more, and I need to be able to have counsel with someone. I just…I need…you know…I'm praying for a woman to come into my life that I can speak to on a daily basis about the Bible, about Jesus and just…I just need help. Thank you for your prayers.

Relationships – Naomi and Ruth
Relationships – Naomi and Ruth
Now Elimelek, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left with her two sons. They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth. After they had lived there about ten years, both Mahlon and Kilion also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and her husband. When Naomi heard in Moab that the Lord had come to the aid of his people by providing food for them, she and her…

"The Dank." From the Book of Ruth 4: 8-12.
We learn in the prior frame how Mr. Right must also be Mr. Right Now. We are not redeemed in the rear view mirror nor in the world to come, or even in the fullness of time, but right now. While it is true a tree must come into season, bloom, get pollinated and then set fruit before the time is right, adult human beings are not trees, we are always planting and reaping the fruits of our actions. Leaving the good fruits behind for whatever reason is not Shoftim, it is an unwise thing to do.
This is why I have been wetting my adult diapers over the fact Israel is unconstituted, that the US Gov is allowing a decade of capital crimes to go unpunished, how, after the Ukrainians personally asked me to save their lives, the filth Mike Johnson who has much more power than I do, threw them all into the fire without a care in the world.
Our future lives which are always in season at the right time as the Talmud says. Except are entering their final frost because mankind does not wish to understand how to spend its time the way the Torah instructs.
I can't quite find the words to explain my anger over watching a bunch of dancing dumbfucks in the Republican Evangelical Community pendant to a discussion of murdering Jews in the movie The Fabulous Four. The sight of Donald Trump parading down a tropical avenue dressed like a transvestite, fagging it out after all the evil he has done nearly broke my gizzard.
So rather than waste time, I am pursuing this man this thing and his co. to the grave and will not let them live to harm another living thing ever again. Humanity needs these creatures to become its new dead husbands. Let's face it ladies, this marriage ain't gonna work a second time.
As with all things Torah, we have to look at this in two ways: the end of the old marriage and its horrible regrets and how to sieze the moment and be as happy as possible as rapidly as we can. God, serving as a narrator tells the Bridegroom to purchase and own all Israel and bring it back to life. He instructs us to wake up the traditions, to become famous, to rebuild the family. God gives the man His sandal, the equivalent of a marriage license and time starts again.
The only way we are going to recover from October 7 is to outdo it, to establish a Shabbos event no one will forget. After we win this war and the Mormons and Republicans everyone who betrayed us are dead, there must be an Event. The Book of Ruth explains:
In the myth of Tamar + Judah found in Vayeshev, Tamar, "the fertile palm tree" who is a lot like Ruth is forced to live in widowhood. She finds a young goat, conceives, retrieves the Signet of Israel and is able to marry.
Marriages in Judaism enable what is believed to merge with what is practiced. Marriages maintain the flow of time and ensure what has to be done to achieve Shabbos at the end of a particular cycle is done.
Israel has been a widow for over two thousand years. The last king of Israel died in 724 BCE, but the Signet, the Ring, the Cord and the Staff "the vow to protect hope" did not die with him.
The end of the marriage cycle we are in, the Rab says is called Perez, "to demilitarize". As at the end of the Torah, my generation will not see the Promised Land of a demilitarized Israel. There are too many wars and warriors willing to fight them in pursuit of the darkness that once claimed our nation. The data sugggests it will take three hundred years to rid the world of the causes of war. This information must force us to hearken back to the beginning of the passage and "start paying for it now."
History must record the people of Israel confronted the ancient evil, we won our battles and passed the legacy of the war against tyranny on to our sons and daughters, and they did the same. The narrator seems to suspect this and says our Lady Israel will need to be what is called Ephrathah, "to learn in split groups of thousands."
"The verb פרר (parar) means to split, divide and usually make more, expand or multiply. This root belongs to an extended family that also contains פרץ (paras), to break (through), פרש (paras and parash), to spread out or declare, פרס (paras), to break in two or divide, and פאר (pa'ar) means to branch out or to glorify.
The Bible is not concerned with political goings on and only with the evolution of the wisdom tradition, and thus with the rise of information technology (from cave paintings to blockchain). That said: our word "science" comes from the Greek verb σξιζω (schizo), which means to split, divide and make more.
Verb פרה (para) means to bear fruit or be fruitful.
The young bovines were probably known as fruits-of-the-herd, but donkeys in the Bible mostly symbolize lone wanderings and humility.
Noun פור (pur) means lot (hence the feast called Purim). Noun פורה (pura) denotes a winepress and פרור (parur) a cooking pot."
The Values in Gematria are:
v. 8: Buy it yourself. The Number is 4373, גדגז "get tickled." = tashlich, the intention to be happy but also tzedaka, "just."
v. 9: “Today you are witnesses. I bought the property...from Elimelech Chilion and Mahlon."=
From "The Prince of Oaks as the top of the window." If one is able to look over the top of the head of the prince one wants to be the king. If the prince does not want or cannot be the king, the kingdom ends and its assets will be sold. Then they will have to be purchased back, what an arduous process. If only we can once again maintain the line of succession precent it from becoming corrupt!
The Number is 7651, זוהא, "the glamor! The luster!"
It's glamor until its time to work. God has already purchased all the glamor any of us could want- He says we must know what to do with it, which is why He says he have given us the Ruth Torah so we learn how to employ it:
v. 10: Today you are witnesses. The narrator says he has purchased Ruth Mahlon, "the widow of the vision through the window."
So long as we live we are a witness through a window. Should man no longer identify with all he sees, he should consult the Torah which starts by stating thigns cannot stay the same, they must always change. Only the essence of our happiness should remain unchanged.
The Number is 11735, יאזגה, yazga, "to be seduced by the widest opening."
As with its twin, the emphasis of the verb שגה (shaga) is on sin done inadvertently. Interesting are Scriptures' instructions on how this state of unrealized sin comes about:
Through wine and strong drink (Isaiah 28:7, Proverbs 20:1).
Through seductive women as opposed to one's loving wife (Proverbs 5:23).
Through ceasing to pay heed to discipline (Proverbs 19:27).
This verb yields two derivatives:
The feminine noun שגיאה (shegia), meaning error (Psalm 19:13).
The masculine noun משגה (mishgeh), meaning mistake. This word lies at the heart of the Yiddish word mesjogge, which is used to mean mistake or being crazy. In the Bible it occurs only in Genesis 43:12.
This thing zega, can be turned both ways. Most would jump at the opportunity to join a royal court (when such rare opportunities surface) without hesitation. Why not? Because in the modern world, such opportunities come with immense responsibility. Princes and kings, princesses and queens have to sign laws and mint money; their initiatives have to pass muster and return materially on their investments for the sake of the people and the nation.
When Willy bragged during a visit to a children's hospital, in front of little kids and the press that he hired thugs to kidnap, molest, and murder the Counts of Montpezat, one could easily assess the opening for this particular human being is much bigger than he. Such an unintelligent man cannot possibly be trusted with signing laws or the handling of a massive budget.
It would not be a mistake to turn William Mary into a dead husband and replace him and in fact that is what has to be done. Contract killings arranged by a head of state are illegal and very inappropriate and will not be tolerated.
v. 11: Then the elders and all the people at the gate said, “We are witnesses. May we be famous in Bethlehem." Recall the gate is the where the tide comes in. The tide in this case is also where it goes out and clears the way. The Number is 11131, י'קגא, זקגה, "Distilled."
Distillation refers to the process of producing the Myrrh, the Balsam of God. One is only famous if one wins, and only if one is able to grow and produce the feedstocks and make the equipment can one enjoy the cologne. Cologne is a wealthy man's sport, it is worn by persons who have looks, money, leisure time, who serve in positions of importance.
The means to all of these for all persons is called Bethlehem, the fight to get bread. Which brings us back to Tamar and her goat:
v. 12: Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah.” The Number is 9862, טחוב, dank, musty.
The only reason a man wears cologne or woman wears perfume is to satisfy the lust for power and be seductive or be seduced. Seduction must not be mutual or it is no fun. So long as one is seducing over one's head one should give in. Otherwise, one should not give in.
So the challenge with recasting the Signet of Israel and our old traditions faster than time can pass is dependent only on the height of the peak of the vision. About this there are rules and Torahs, this we know, but first we must win this latest battle over our soil.
As for the rest, it should be compiled into an omnibus spending bill that will cover Ukraine, Israel, Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran's water problems, all the war damage, flood, heat, and food and medicine shortages in the world and Administered all at once.

What field are you looking in? And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.” Naomi said to her, “Go ahead, my daughter.” So she went out, entered a field and began to glean behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she was working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan of Elimelek.
