Event Summary

When Elias was younger, he always loved to read fairytales. Yet, there was one book that told a story that stuck with him till the present day. The story was about a creative and joyous mouse who, while asleep, dreams of himself on a spectacular journey through the depths of his own imagination. Elias loved that story, but as the years went on, the book fell into obscurity. No one in all of Twisted Wonderland seemed to know anything about this book! Elias thought he had been dreaming about it for years until he saw the same book in NRC's library. Though it was covered in dust, Eilas still felt the exact same spark that he had felt when he was little. As to not let the story fall into obscurity again, Elias begged Crowely to find a way to let people know about the book, yet Crowely couldn't help him. Elias almost ran out of ideas until he remembered a rhyme his mother would tell him.

You'll create night of wondrous dreams

This inspired Elias to put matters into his own hands. With funding from Kalim, Elias sought to put on a wonderful water and light show spectacular as a homage to his favorite fairytale. But, he will need actors and dancers! Help Elias create a nighttime fantasmic!

Actors and Dress Code

In the fairytale, the magical mouse goes on a trip through his mind. In his dreams, he sees wondrous, beautiful, and dangerous things. Since this live show is supposed to be inspired by that story, Elias would like all actors to dress appropriately for whichever part you may be going for. Of course, there is still a lot of room for you to be creative!

In this show, Elias will be playing the part of the mouse, who, fast asleep, dreams that he is a mighty sorcerer's apprentice with the power to control water, color, and magic.

In the original story, the mouse sees things such as:

A vibrant jungle

Elephants on parade

A Genie who can grant any wish

A large ocean with all sorts of creatures

Pirates

Fairies

Beautiful princesses

Evil monsters

Powerful dragons

With these in mind, you can decide how you want to be perceived in Elias's dream! Do you want to be a beautiful prince or princess? Or do you want to change Elias's dream into a nightmare?

For your character's outfits, make them vibrant and fantastical! Anything can happen in Elias's dream!

If you're still stuck, then go watch the original Fantasmic! It should give you ideas for your character's outfits. (Yes, I know that the link is the outdated version, but tbh they didn't change much from the one linked and the updated one so IT'S FINE)

Home Tap: Not many outssside us Ophidians know about the Great Serpent Teacher; a surprise to see him star in the show. Home Idle: Oh yes, The Great Serpent Teacher, old and wise as he was long, could answer any question. He even helped 'find the perfect place' in The Jungle for a lost little Frog.

As faculty, Crowley decided Aadesh as 'the new guy' would work perfectly in being safety coordinator. The problem was: how to maintain safety during practice and the show without being conspicuous? Be a part of the show of course! (Aadesh deludes himself into thinking this will break down barriers any students might have against coming to see him for their problems and family business secrets) His main 'act' is more or less steering the larger equipment during the show, while making it seem more like a dance.

Did someone call for a Prince(ss) Charming? Our dashing Flori to the rescue! Ginormous thanks to @theolivetree123 for hosting this event!

🕊️: You’re looking a bit lost there, my little rodent friend. Are you alright?

🕊️: Don’t worry, I’ll protect you. Stay behind me!

🕊️: Was that convincing? Huh? You couldn’t tell I was acting? Goodness, perhaps this confirms my suspicions about typecasting…

🕊️: The character I play is the classic Prince Charming! Er- Princess Charming, in this case. I’d say it’s a pretty natural role for me. I even get to show off my swordsmanship! Ah, but I don’t want to look self-important, haha…

🕊️: I-It’s a bit odd, I feel like this costume is much too similar to items I already have in my closet… Never mind that.

🕊️: Well, I expect it’s a good thing I’m already well acquainted with the arts. I love to sing, of course, and I took more than a few dance classes along with the ballroom dance lessons my parents made me do.

🕊️: I wonder if my dormmates will be in the audience tonight? I’m sure Rook will be lurking around sooner or later, hehe. I’d love to be able to spot Vil and Epel in the audience.

🕊️: Even though I fit the role, I must truly work hard to make sure I contribute all I can to this performance! I must not let my fellow performers down.

🕊️: Ah, right, I should warm up, shouldn’t i? Ahem…

Home: I was pretty much assigned this role others said that this would be perfect for me.

Home idle 1 : My character? The mouse calls me “the fairy” as my character gives no name or any lines. How do I put this she’s more of an important side character.

Home idle 2 : My role is like a guide for the mouse popping in and out throughout the story, showing up when the mouse feels lost or lonely , light of hope that stuff ,though the mouse is the only one who can see the fairy so many argue if she’s the mouse’s consciousness or a real being.

Home idle 3 : Elias is very excited for this I hope I don’t mess it up for him…in between practicing he has been telling me about his favorite fairy tales.

Home tap 1 : Even though I have no line I still have to get my movements right, as I’m also kinda a prop for  representing light , what do I mean by that? Like with the pirates finding light to lead their way the actors would point or look towards me when I appear…Mainly it’s for extra visuals given the audience sometimes to look at.

Home tap 2 : Astrid has been helping with the set dressing, I heard him tell Kalim not to just go crazy they still need to make the set look nice

Home tap 3 : My glasses have a shade thing on it so I don’t need to worry that much about the light, besides the harsher light is casted behind me

Home tap 4 : I put Riddle in charge of Grim , he promised to give a lovely collars if anymore fits happen.

Home tap 5 : Iris and Ortho have been having fun with lighting and the technical stuff, they’re both part of the film appreciation club so they have experience.

For Yuya’s role I thought about northern star leading the way and stuff like as Yuya is a star also like get people talking “who is the fairy?” “what does she represent?”like in theory videos,

Dragon themed outfits for Narcissa Viperoné! For @theolivetree123 200 follower event!

I just knew I wanted Narcissa to be the dragon (She’s a little bit of a hothead when she wants to be)

no 1 - Scales with a lot less ruffle (I like the sleeves and their length)

no 2 - More twin tail of a dragon like with the spikes, I’d say this one is a bit fancy for an event like this!

no 3 - More Dragon breathing fire with the big poofy skirt and then the twin tail theme again with the braids!

I don’t know which one I like so let me know!

🩵: Wow! This stage is huge! I'll definitely have enough room to do my thing!

🩵: It's a tiny bit difficult to communicate with so many people. Most of the performers don't know sign language, so I have to write what I want to say. It's not ideal, but I'll be fine!

🩵: Melinoe is so determined to not get wet. It's kinda funny, isn't it? I mean, this is literally a water and light show.

🩵: Do you like my costume? I tried to make it as close to the original as possible!

🩵: Wow! Everyone looks so amazing!

🩵: There's so many people in the audience... now I'm getting nervous!

🩵: Don't worry, Prefect! I'll be able to hear the music. It's just loud enough for me to hear it.

🩵: I'm so proud of myself for making so many costumes! Though I wouldn't have finished them without the help from Mr. Crewel.

Narcissa and dragons, it’s perfect!

Unfortunately she couldn’t use her dragon form (that would’ve caused so much chaos)

But this costume instantly makes her feel like one, the scales and the ruffles! Oh it just fits her so well!

The ruffles at the back are attached to small clips so she can take it on and off!
