Day 25: Which BL actor do you want to see more of?

If I'm honest, I think I'm very luck in that all my favourites are rather busy or have at least been on my screen in the last year? Like, my favourites are TayNew, FirstKhaotung, ForceBook and GeminiFirst, and I've been pretty lucky since I got into BL a few years ago.

HOWEVER, my first ever BL pairing haven't been in anything together for a while, and that's Kokoyy De Santos and Elijah Canlas. Gameboys was my first ever BL and we are so lucky that they've confirmed a 3rd installment in the series (Gameboys NY, which is probably gonna be a movie) but gosh I miss them and wish I could see them more. Luckily they are still very active in dramas in general, but I miss seeing them together - they have INSANE chemistry, so if you haven't seen Gameboys (there's two seasons, and a GL side series called Pearl Next Door) please check it out!

Fan Meets and irl BL adventures

I still wanna go through pictures and videos of the fanmeets and such for bl and bl adjacent events and places I've been able to attend thus far but talking and thinking even more about Utsukare and my trip this spring to watch the movie and such and also the fact, I'm very much procrastinating on some work right now has me in the mood to at least list out all the events and bl actors I've seen.

all of these international trips started because I won a hat from Kokoy in a Gameboys' fan raffle, which I later got but it wasn't the hat I was told I won but ended up being a more meaningful hat anyway

Kaownah is the actor I've seen the most

Elijah is the actor I've spent the most face time with and had the longest conversations with

Elijah got on the mic told a FULL ass auditorium of his family and fans that I was the biggest Cairo hater in the world (which is true actually)

most everyone I've met and had any sort of face time with has been really nice and excited to talk with an interfan

I won a video call with MarkFord for the MSP concert and their excitement at seeing me again made Gemini who was in the room come over to see what was happening and he was also very excited to see me again

most of them tend to be shorter than I imagined but I'm also 6'1 and also a lot of them wear platform heels or very chunky shoes lmao

fans and staff at events tend to be hella nice and curious about me and assist with translations or directions and sharing gifts and tips

I "saw" Tul Pakorn at NYC Pride 2023 but didn't register it was him because I was 5-10ft behind him and thought "that's a nice white mesh shirt" and later to my eternal chagrin saw him on IG wearing that very same 'nice mesh shirt.' I had to laugh to not cry.

I entered a raffle to meet Yusei and didn't win and so I didn't go back to Japan and later read on twitter he was meeting fans there anyway

fan meets/concerts and goodbye sessions are truly LONG AF!!! Some of them could easily be 10+ hours onsite.

@bengiyo I have told you and @liyazaki the most about my travels - I've already added a few missed memories but lemme know if y'all remember any omissions lmao

at some point, I'm going to need to buy a shelf or two for all the bl merch and pictures I have

Bad Buddy series this was literally such a treat! also ohmnanon's acting was out of this world good. and nanon(the gmmtv golden boy) really shocked me in this show i never thought he had that side on him, iykyk 😅

Theory of Love because im a masochistic btch and gun really said best actor in this show! i will forever be in awe of gun atthaphan's acting! i hate khai as much as i love this show. the only thing he had going for him was having off's face 😅

Gameboys this show was so unique, despite the leads not having face to face scenes the chemistry was still burning and the acting was not lacking. and tphe story, the proper representation! chef's kiss!

Semantic Error this was so well written i love the whole vibe of this show

We Best Love i personally didn't like the second couple that much but i love the main couple so much that this show is still on this list

Where your eyes linger because han gi chan, i also loved the angst and how this show paved the way 😌 for korean bl they are the fathers 🤣

Don't Say No the series ok here me out! this was so good up until the last three episodes, why they decided that sorry excuse of a clown who was a mediocre little bitch to be the big bad guy i'll never know and wtf happened to pob and leon? the only thing i'm acknowledging in the last two ep is that red suit this show only has 9 episodes for me that's why it can still be on this list

BLs I watched this Week

I think I might make this a weekly or biweekly thing to keep track of my BLs and to hold myself accountable to watch them. I was in a BL rut for a couple weeks so I am now watching a lot of finished BLS. These will not contain spoilers. I will just tell you guys what I like and dislike about the show. The episode I am on is in parentheses.

Gameboys S2 (Ep 5)

Finally figured out how to watch it as I live in America (if you want to know just send me an ask)

This is one of my comfort BLs so I was very excited for Season 2

I like how they incorporate scenes from the movie, but at the same time adding new scenes for more context

You kinda get to see more of Terrence and Wesley’s relationship

Unforgotten Night (Ep 8)

I was really excited for this show when the trailer first came out

I feel as though I really like the characters, but the plot is not all the way there

Something about this show is not letting me drop it, but I feel the mafia plot could have been better

I thought the BDSM part was gonna be more prominent in the show

Vice Versa (Ep 5)

One of the best BLs I am watching rn

I love JimmySea and their acting

The plot is so good and I cannot wait for more

If there is one BL that would recommend for you to watch it is this one (and another one later on the list)
