The Sons of Ivaldi (Designs + Headcanons)

Finally drew my interpretations of Ivaldi’s sons or at least some of them. It isn’t stated how many sons Ivaldi has, so I went with three for my interpretation. I’ve yet to name them, but I do eventually I want to.

Headcanons :

-They're triplets

-These three were born after Sigyn and before Idunn. It’s unknown whether Ivaldi made them on his own or if they had a mother. Some rumor if they did that, she was an elf.

-They had the typical arguing and bantering sibling relationship amongst eachother and their sisters (mostly Sigyn). They do care for eachother but also despise eachother at times too.

-Only two out of the three of them decided to follow in their father’s footsteps. The middle triplet found his passion more in poetry and music (making him best buds with his brother in law Bragi)

-That being said, he is the father of Sjofn, Gefjon, and Lofn. Many assumed Freyja had slept with all three of the brothers, and each one gave her daughter. But that was just a rumor turned out while she did sleep with all three at different points while her necklace was being made. Only one of them is the father of her daughters(the middle triplet).

-Freyja, however, lost interest in him and took their daughters with her, leaving Sigyn and Idunn's hopeless romantic of a brother heartbroken. The other two weren’t really sad, though, but they felt bad for their brother.

-As for the other other two brothers, they really had no interest in romance after Freyja. They liked focusing on their blacksmithing more. They also have kinda of an ongoing rivalry with their eldest sister Sigyn.

-Not long after Freyja left, the middle triplet disappeared. Many thought he either got drunk and froze to death in the woods, or he was killed by a jealous lover of Idunn wanting revenge on her. Turns out, neither was true, and he was found by Syn years later drunk in a tavern. He then finally got to reunite with his daughters thanks to Syn.

-He then mostly stayed in Asgard and made friends with Syn. Sharing his music and poetry with her.

- All three of them mostly got along with their in laws(Loki and Bragi). They were slightly annoyed by Loki presence, but whatever made their older sister happy, they couldn't really complain.

Lofn is the Norse Goddess of Forbidden Love and Games.  Out of all her siblings she is the most gentle. She is the adopted daughter of Frigga & Njord and is the youngest of her siblings.

As the rest of her siblings and other deities, she has been alive for so long that her age is unknown.

Lofn is a small business owner. She owns and runs a bakery and cafe.  Both are two establishments in one. They are located right in the heart of the town. Both are quite popular, especially among the younger crowd.

Personality wise Lofn is very soft. She’s quite a lively and whimsical individual. She known for her comforting nature as well. She’s also the patron for outcasts and minorities.

Lofn loves the theater and everything about it.  Any chance she gets she’ll get dressed and see whatever show is playing. She and her daughters are regular attendees at the local opera house. Such regulars that the entire staff now knows them by first name bases as well as their schedules

She can not read English. Though she can understand it and speak it for the most part, reading it she can not do. Any other language sure but English, no. .

Lofn has four adopted children. Natasha ( aka black widow ) her eldest, Carina her middle, Valerie her second to youngest and Rolnen ( her dragon son ) her youngest. 

Lofn doesn’t watch television.  She’ll watch it if either of her daughters or someone else is but for her own leisure, she doesn’t find it entertaining.

Minor Muses: Muses who still play big roles in my giirls lives but in their own ways. These muses are also muses who don’t get written as much as the others but still exist. 

The Goddesses ( Maternal Ancestors):

Var ( Lana Parrilla):  Norse Goddess of Oaths and Agreements. She is the daughter of the Norse God Foresti and resides in the mortal realm where she works for Freyja as her lawyer.

Gná ( Hayley Atwell): Gná (pronounced NYA) is the Norse Goddess of the breeze. She is one of Frigga‘s handmaidens, and acts as her messenger and scout. Her horse, Hófvarpnir (Hoof-thrower), is able to run across air and water, carrying Gná to her destinations. She visits Freyja and her family often, mostly during holidays and special occasions. 

Sjofn ( Julia Ormund):  Sjofn is, like her sister Freyja, a love goddess. Her main role in Asgard was to get men and women to fall in love and be in love. To fulfil her role she uses many different methods, one is a magical brew she serves her many guests.When it comes to her personality Sjofn is wise in her own way. She is very social and enjoys meeting new people. Especially those looking to be or are newly in love. Sjofn is the adoptive mother of Bridget. With her she lives in the United Kingdom near the rest of her family.

Eir ( Catherine Bell) ***bio in progress***: Eir is a Norse Goddess who is associated with healing. She is the one who Freyja and Bonnie come to when it comes to Brookes health. It is she who supplies them with the appropriate herbs and advice to keeping her illnesses under control. She owns and runs an antique shop in town. 

Hnossa Odrottir ( Emilia Clarke:  Hnossa (Old Norse "treasure") is the eldest daughter of Freyja and Óðr, and the almost identical sister of Gersemi. She is the goddess of desire and lust. With her sister Gersemi, Hnossa travels a lot making her away from home quite a bit. She writes her mother often letting her know her where abouts before occassionally returning home for a visit. 

Gersemi Odrottir ( Hayden Panettiere) :   Her name (meaning ‘riches’ or ‘treasure’) is used to describe anything precious or lovely. She is the goddess of beauty and the youngest daughter of Freyja and Odr while she is the younger sister of Hnossa but older sister of Federick. Unlike the rest of her family, Gersemi isn't known to get into godly activities. She enjoys keeping to herself and enjoying life as she knows it.

Others 

Zander Vasiliev( Joe Manganiello):   Zander is the husband of Breanna and father of Chloe and Caleb. He is also one of the remaining survivors of his family, The Original Werewolves. In the United Kingdom he resides with his family where he works as a detective for the supernatural.

Meara Arrington ( Lenora Crichlow):  Meara Arrington. Being the youngest of six, she had a bittersweet childhood. Coming from a family of were-dragons there was never a dull moment within her home. At a young age she were taught by her mother how to control her dragon, eventually giving her the ability to shift when she desired. Meara is the bestfriend o Brittney and has been since they were children. She works as a journalist for ‘Ghouls Weekly’.

Alexandra Morales ( Gina Rodriguez):   Alexandra is a werewolf from a small town in Washington D.C.  In the UK with Breanna and her family she resides, working as Lofns pastry chef while occasionally doubling as her secretary. 

Bridget  Moira Bennett-McCullough ( Jessica Sula ):   Bridget Moira Bennett- McCullough was born on July 6th, 1992 to Her Royal Majesty Abigail Bennett-McCullough and His Majesty Michael McCullough. Just as her elder siblings, due to the destruction and invasion of their Kingdom, Bridget was sent away elsewhere to be taken to safety. Due to Freyja already having her hands full, out of wanting to respect the Queens wishes for her youngest daughter to be near her elder sisters, Sjofn, the elder sister of Freyja, took Bridget in and raised her as her own. Bridget is quite close to her “cousins”, especially Brittany & Bonnie ( mostly Bonnie). She’s a witch who is quite proud of who and what she is.   ****** she does not know of her royal status or the fact her “cousins” are actually her siblings *******

Mairi Moretti ( nee McCullough ) ( Amy Adams) **** bio in progress ****:  Mairi is the paternal aunt of the girls. She is co-owner of Scent and Scentsability, the floral shop that Brooke also co-owns and works at. While the girls don’t know she’s their aunt, they know she’s more then a family friend.

btw! Is it possible to use your screencaps of Lofn and Zevlor (with credit? for a project? If not, I'll use other pictures. :D I want to make a set with your lore because I adore it.

I wonder what Aedric thinks of his adopted siblings? And also of Zevlor! in fact what about Lofn's siblings? The eldest is king, but what about the others? Do they advise Lofn or her brother?

Aedric and his blood brother were the only two who were adopted, but Signa and him are extremely close. They've both even fought next to one another during wars. Signa was in Lynnania's womb when she took in Aedric and his brother, which puts Signa 8 years younger than Aedric. And Yes! Aedric does help advise Signa when their mother isn’t around (Signa is a huge mamas boy). Is always at Signa’s side when he travels, definition of “I trust you with my life”.

Aedric wasn’t sure of Zevlor at first, he and Signa actually met Zevlor before Lofn introduced them. They were off looking for their missing sister after she was abducted by the mindflayers. After finding out Zevlor saved his beloved sister, Aedric warmed up to the tiefling more and for his sister’s sake supported Zevlor moving into Thay. After some time, Aedric warmed up to Zevlor and eventually the two established a trusting bond. Will walk around Thay once Zevlor is accustomed to it and watch over the city together.

Visela is off doing her own thing, on her dragon. She resides just outside Thay in a temple that belonged to her step grandfather (Grazzt's son) with her husband (a man who was supposed to be the next king of his kingdom but refused it to live a peaceful life with Visela and his sons). Aedric visits often, he is very close with the two boys and also looks up to how strong Visela is. She does not advise any of them usually, simply because she is focusing on her two boys.

Aedric is very protective of Lofn due to her being the youngest and the next to wear the crown. She clung to him and Signa a lot when she was little, especially Aedric since Signa was usually busy learning how to rule. Now that she is older, Aedric does try and advise her best he can and will even be the one who physically pulls her away from a bad situation/ an argument that may get out of hand for no reason.

Main Muses: Muses who this blog was originally created to house and I always feel up to writing. 

Freyja Njodrottir ( Michelle Pfeiffer): Norse Goddess, Valkryie Queen, one of many maternal ancestors to Bonnie and her siblings.  She is their main caretaker. It is with her do they reside.

Lofn Njordrottir ( Jessica Parker Kennedy): Norse Goddess, like her sister Freyja she is also one of many maternal ancestors of the girls. With Freyja she resides as the girls second caretaker. 

The Princesses ( unaware in main verses )

Breanna Rose Bennett-Vasiliev ( nee Bennett-McCullough) ( Tia Mowry): She is the eldest siblings of Bonnie and the girls, the wife of Zander Vasiliev and mother of two (twins caleb and chloe). Unlike her sisters she is not a full witch but also part werewolf as well. Her twin sister is Brooke. 

Brooke Patricia Bennett-McCullough ( Tamera Mowry);  Twin sister to Breanna and the kindest sibling of them all. She is the mother of two ( Tyler and Amelia) as well as a widow. Due to her illnesses Brooke is the weakest of her siblings. 

Brittney Marie  Bennett-McCullough ( Meaghan Rath): Fraternal twin of Bonnie, oldest by eight minutes. Brittney is a full witch, more Bennett then McCullough. She’s kinda nice, kinda not. She’s one of those people who takes time to get to know. Fashion designer and expert.

Bonnie May McCullough ( Antonia Thomas): ( First to second) Youngest of her siblings. Due to inheriting both dark and light magic of her most powerful paternal ancestors, out of her family it is she who possesses the most and strongest magic. Kinda nice, kinda not. Kinda wild, kinda reserved. Always full of surprises. Most witchy of her siblings.
