Okay follow up- I've gotten through all of Fire and Stone now reading Life and Death. I absolutely love Galgo (He's a bastard.) and Ahab. I also really like Elden and Angela.

It's ungodly late (4 AM) and I stayed up reading comics about silly aliens and I found myself loving the interaction between a certain yautja and a human. Here's a highlight reel.

I was reading Prometheus: The Complete Fire and Stone Comic. I highly recommend it. The art is super cool. The comic is entertaining. And the story isn't half bad. It's especially interesting if you like the Prometheus movie.

I was cracking up the whole damn time these two were stuck together. He (the human) was gonna grow a spine or die of a heart attack.

Thank you so much for asking!!13. How do you deal with writer's block?Poorly? Lol I’m afraid I can be a kinda melodramatic, immediately jumping to “I’ll never write again! Wait, have I ever even written before? Okay, I know I wrote yesterday, but that barely counts, it feels like years ago! Or maybe a dream!” Seriously though, I try to give myself some sort of break? Maybe play a videogame or something. I tend to get frustrated quickly, though, and will try to write anyway. I try to write simple things that I enjoy (like pointless fluff lol) and give longer stories a break until the ideas start flowing again. Other times I’ll just stare at a blank page for hours on end, trying to force it. This is not advisable lol. Sadly this is where I’m at right now. I wish I had something that was guaranteed to fix it but I don’t.17. On average, how much writing do you get done in a day?This is a hard one to answer because it varies wildly. I think the max I’ve ever written in a day is 1000 words but that’s incredibly rare and has only happened a few times. Usually my average is anywhere between 100 or 300 words, but there are also a lot of days where I just don’t write at all. I am so inconsistent it’s sad.23. Single or multi POV, and why?I tend to write single POV because it’s easier for me lol. I tried once, I really did, because Elden sees Cole as sort of a little brother and they get along really well, but, sorry boys, I can’t write poetic alliteration to save my life apparently lol.53. What does writing mean to you?I am so pretentious yall, I am so sorry, but stories in general just mean so much to me and I could probably write a paper on this lmao. It can give hope and strength, it can be a way to explore and connect and understand and so much more. I doubt my writing will ever be any of that for someone else, but it helps me understand myself and others better, forcing me to see through another’s eyes, or to explore what I myself am going through, processing and coping as my characters seek closure. It can be incredibly therapeutic and trust me when I say nothing is too self indulgent. It started as escapism for me, but tbh there are some things I need from fiction that I can’t get anywhere else, so I write it down. It’s also a way to share a bit of myself I think? Which is probably why it’s so terrifying I guess. It’s scary exposing bits of yourself. You never know how it’s going to be received.
