Why did El Patio stop uploading? My Spanish is very slow to understand what they said😔

it's sad! so after 4 years, they shut down the show. essentially, the hosts had other obligations and were getting other opportunities, so finding time to film, edit, and publish content became very difficult.

they were my favorite futfem interview show. now "quiero ser como" has taken the place of getting to know the person behind the player, but it's not exactly the same.

but they did one of my favorite interviews of alexia ever:

"The mythical nightclub “The Patio” (the backyard) was a cabaret and entertainment center located in Mexico City (CDMX), it stood as an exclusive enclave during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. More than just an entertainment venue, it offered an experience international gastronomy accompanied by musical performances and high quality shows.

Abandoned since 1994 and with a worn facade as time passed, witnessed the talent of numerous renowned artists. From the legendary José José to figures such as Lucha Villa, Pedro Vargas, Thalía, Juan Gabriel, Emmanuel, Los Panchos, Alberto Domínguez and Lucía Méndez, as well as humorous acts by icons such as Germán Valdés Tin Tan, Sergio Corona and Juan Verdaguer, among others.

On June 3 2024, the building suffered a structural collapse."

what does she say in the interview (about the introvert thing)? i don't understand spanish sorry😅

yeah, sure - here's a rough summary. so el patio was known for having more "fun" interviews with their football guests, and they like to intersperse little clips as reactions to the guests.

anyway, they ask alexia whether there is anything she is more scared of than a camera and then show a series of social media clips where alexia is being camera shy (often jenni is the culprit behind filming! 😅)

so alexia responds that she knows all of this (interviews, social media, etc.) is a part of the job, but if she had a preference, it would be live peacefully (interview cuts with a clip that says "truth"😅). but she knows she has to do it (lots of interviews, followers, acts). she then says that she's not scared of the camera (interview cuts with a clip that says "lies" 😅) but that she is an introvert.
