Your more than just a slave to me part 1.

The pharaoh sighed as he sit on his throne. /I haven't seen Heba all day which is unusual./ the pharaoh thinks to himself. Standing up he walks to the doors of the throne room waking out down the halls of the palace. As he walks he hears whispering

"Heba you can't keep avoiding the pharaoh your his personal servant!" He soon realizes it's mana his best friend. "Shush! Mana I know but I can't even look at him without-!" "Uh hum!" The pharaoh coughs looking at both of them heba jumps looks at him face reddening. "M-my pharaoh what are you doing out the throne room so early?" Heba asks. Atem makes a scolding face. "I wanted to stretch my legs I been sitting for a while" he says before walking past them. /why doesn't Heba want to be around me? We've known each other since we where kids../ He looks down feeling his heart sink. "Did do something wrong?" He mutters to himself. Before walking towards the palace gardens.

<<time skip to the next day<<

"My pharaoh don't forget that you have meeting the day after tomorrow with a leader of the main land." Atem nods "I won't thank you" he says to his adviser. Atem looks up going wide eyed seeing priest Seto and Heba talking. The pharaoh couldn't hold back a growl as he sees his cousin./oh so he can't speak to me but he can speak to seto!/ The pharaoh stomps over. "Heba come now!" He says grabbing his wrist rather harshly dragging him to his bed chambers. Shutting the door shoving Heba inside. "I demand to know the meaning of your actings!" The pharaoh yells. Heba flinches and moves back. "What do you mean my pharaoh?" "You know what I mean Heba! You been avoiding me not talking to me or even playing games with me like we used to! But you have time to converse with my cousin?!" Heba looks down. "I-I been busy." "What could you have possibly been busy with that caused you to never see me?!" Heba clenched his fist. "WHY DO YOU CARE?! I'm a slave! I'm nothing to you!" Heba yells tears streaming down his face. Atem looks at him him shock but before he can stop himself he grabs heba's face and kisses him deeply.

The Miraculous Lovesquare ain’t got nothing on YGO ships. Just saying.

Lovesquare might have 4 ships between 2 characters. But Yu-Gi-Oh has atleast 6 ships between what is arguably 1 character.

Bonus: all of the YGO ships come with very fun and unique ship names.

i love yugi and atem/yami's relationship, but the fact that there's 4 different versions of the same ship is a bit much for me

puzzleshipping: the main ship between yugi and yami

blindshipping: basically the same as puzzleshipping except that since yami has all his memories back and remembered his real name, this somehow makes him a completely different person

mobiumshipping: yugi, yami and atem together, despite the fact that yami and atem are the same person

egyptianshipping: ancient egyptian version of puzzleshipping with atem and yugi, except that yugi is renamed heba (i honestly have no idea where 'heba' came from, everyone just went with it)

Ship meme: Egyptianshipping AtemxHeba

Not one that I’ve written much of though since we’re now writing it I suppose I shall get to explore it soon. Since Heba is alot like Yugi then I imagine that they would be rather cute together - with Heba being supportive as Atem gets used to either ruling or dealing with his new life and Atem in turn offers support to Heba to help him grow more confident ect. I don’t have too much to say but I do think it’ll be fun to explore. Sorry about the shortness of this ^^;Overall Score - 5/10 - until I write more, this may change ^.^

Look I see it this way. If you just look for “puzzleshipping,” the fanart/fic could be from at any point in the time they’ve been together. If you use “blindshipping,” it narrows it down to either after Atem regains his memories, Atem returns to life AUs, or what some would rather call “Egyptianshipping,” where everything takes place in ancient Egypt.

Frankly, I do find Yami and Atem to be different people. They may be the same character, but just as in reality, people change over time. And Yami/Atem changes and grows a lot. (Think of it a little like Zelda BotW Link pre- and post- Calamity.)

So it’s like all Blindshipping is Puzzleshipping, but not all Puzzleshipping is Blindshipping.

I decided to go ahead and reblog this with my comment (edited a little), because I see this come up a lot in the tags. Don’t be upset with people trying to narrow down their puzzleshipping searches. I certainly appreciate it, and I wish more fandoms had more specific ship names for this purpose alone.

Not sure why people consider Puzzleshipping and Blindshipping two different ship when Yugi is literally paired with the….

[ In roleplay terms, yes I can see it. Um, the only problem I have with it, is that I can’t really out my finger on it. I ship it, but like it needs touch-ups within the ship itself. Atem x Heba is an idea in the process for me, but I love the ship don’t get me wrong, it just needs a lot of touch-ups. ]

Well I think Yami and Atem are though as different entities Because Mana did state on the japanese dub during Atem's visit on the memory world that "he was different of what she remembers" what Mahado Justifies that he is assuming a new roll as the Pharaoh. But it could mean that the Atem he became being with Yugi is different to the one that lived back at the ancient Egypt making him a different person. Is just an educated guess.

Adding to this Proffesor Hopkins on ask him "what is the meaning of your rebirth on this new era" so maybe its implying that he is indeed a new person different from the one he used to be?

I dunno. At this point I am just divagating.
