Teaser analysis!
Tumblr media
Perhaps these are the lyrics in Fortnight? Or the Manuscript she is writing?
Tumblr media
These pink and blue colors remind me of the Lover aesthetic. Also note that Post (love interest???) is blue.
Tumblr media
Taylor is literally being tortured here. Love her chaotic hair.
Tumblr media
She's in Victorian/Edwarian wear. Notice the gloves which are symbolic of hiding or deception. Just another poem to burn? Burn all the files? Why is she destroying the evidence? Is she in a library here?
Tumblr media
Oh shit, she's breaking out. It looks like a research facility and she's breaking through the observation window. The potential symbolism. There's also a candlestick like the ones in the pop up library. Why is there a bed frame?
Tumblr media
The glare. This is so rep coded. She's chained up to something? Also old school Hollywood makeup. Is this a Clara Bow reference? Her choker looks like the one she wore to the Grammys, just no clock. Is this the bed frame? Is she chained to the bed?
I'm scared.

Theory 2:
Who REALLY is Card creator and things related to Card Spirits.
* = Is referred as "He" in English ver
Card Creator or The Master of Cards is a mysterious entity besides him* being the master of therapy-ing and send his therapists to people who needed the most when it comes to their needs.
Since he's mysterious to other humans even card spirits are working for him are aware of his rules if one of them broke one of those rules. But really who really he is?
Was he a former human or a long lost spirit like shapeless spirit just like what Ren said if you play his route until he gotten a form granted was because he wants to help people with his powers.
In Piero's backstory* we learnt that Card Creator is in fact existed FROM the very beginning judging that Piero was in ancient period (Piero is older than the rest of spirits??), (* = Google translation is unreliable 😭😭😭) but it makes me thinking:
Did he watch the world evolution or time travelling timeline periods?
Thing is: Has he ever watch Card Spirits' pasts before making them into one of those helpers without others spotting them:
Like this:
Card Creator: *Watches*
Random dude interacting with a duck animal: *Isn't aware that this Card Creator is watching him*
In other words but if he DOES watch his Card spirits' past lives then he knew there's a potential in them for helping but also heal Spirits' mental and physical wounds? He wanted the connection between Spirits and humans opening each others' struggles and pains they went through as evidenced by all of the Spirits (Saw Koshiro crying so no idea why)
Since it's canonized that Toshio apparently dies of a natural cause does that it adds up to ALL of Card Spirits' COD too as well? If not, does that mean Card Spirits' past have different kinds of COD besides Toshio's case? (If you haven't see my headcanon of him-) Ren would've die in snowstorming.
Since Piero was from ancient times, would've Hiroshi be in between Edwarian and Victorian era explains the butler tendencies in him later Ren's from modern era.
Wait my theory minding in my brain has died down so there will br part 2 or we will find out bout that.

Tattoo recommendation: I think you should get a scissors tattoo (maybe like some elegant gothic scissors if that’s more of your vibe, there’s a lot of different scissors out there to really make it your own), placement obviously entirely up to you.
Btw your post from earlier? You’re gorgeous as hell omg you’d be cute af on my lap (with consent, of course)
Gothic scissors, i didn't even think of that!! Omg. I had/have an obsession with the late victorian era/early edwarian era, so that's like... the best thing ever. Also, scissors always remind me of Jade West, and she's a gay awakening, soooooooo👀
I'd be cute anywhere🤭 but I'm especially cute with someone's hands on my hips

Who are some of your favorite lesbians?
like of all time? ok so most of my actual favorites are people i know irl but as far as well-known lesbians, i LOVE adrienne rich, audre lorde, alison bechdel, judith butler (i wrote my senior thesis on their writings on gender in conversation with virginia woolf's writings. i'd include woolf as my very very favorite, but from what i gather it seems more likely she sincerely swung both ways although it's not like we can ask her and comphet is a hell of a drug, especially in the victorian and edwarian era. but she is actually my favorite person to exist of all time. ) adele haenel is one of my favorite actresses and i believe a lesbian.

Grey and beige minimalism. It's very professional, sleek, and I hate it.
Big Game Hunter rooms. It's very specific to the sheer amount of fur patterns and clashing colors, usually in an overall Victorian or Edwarian building. It always ugly to me, get it away from me. Yet I get why it does that for me, and why some folks think it's neat. I just can't dig it.
Speaking of buildings, brutalism sans ANYTHING else I despise. I do not wish to see nothing but blocks unless it has some CHARACTER. Paint it green, or grow some ivy, maybe a mural? UGH. It does evoke sturdiness and if I wanted to feel protected in a place that would work, but it doesn't feel safe either.
does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.

Spring is finally upon us. I have even seen a few gooslings and lambs already. It is finally getting warmer, though in The Netherlands it means a lot of rain.
I have finally finished my first “big” sewing project - a reincarnation of my favourite shirt. The originally was too worn out to mend, so I took it apart and made a new one. My new project is to attempt to make one of those white over-apron edwarian girls wear over their clothes to keep it from getting dirty (edwardian little girls are one of my fashion goals).
My bicycle is acting up a bit, though not enough to take it to the shop yet. My kickstand sometimes falls a bit when I go over potholes.
I am visiting my family in June. And I am also going for a night in Maastricht in about two weeks. I hope to move after visiting my family to Deventer. I have been there for a day and I like the city. It is not far from De Hoge Veluwe national park, it has quaint historical city centre and way lower population density than Amsterdam.

Okay we know that in the 1800s mostly greek fashion was the traditional one but after the revolution when did they adapt to the rest of Europe fashion? Did they copied the victorian and the edwarian as well later and did only the rich and in big cities like Athens and Thessaloniki wore then while on villages it was still the traditional fashion?
Rich Greeks and Greeks who had also lived and studied abroad followed and brought the western trends even before or shortly after the independence (1830) but western fashion was strictly limited to their very immediate social circles.
The European fashion was generally called «φράγκικα» (=French clothes, frángika) at the time, quite possibly with a hint of judgement for those who preferred it.
Tumblr media
Adamántios Koraís, Dionýsios Solomós, Ioannis Kapodístrias and Aléxandros Mavrokordatos.
I believe the traditional fashion must have been largely maintained through the 30 year long reign of King Otto and Queen Amalia (1832-1862), because even though they were both of German descent, they both adopted immediately the Greek fashion trends. Amalia gave to her royal gown a more western feel but it still was clearly a series of modifications applied to a characteristically Greek and Balkan dress. It is certain that the royals were the most significant influence on urban Greek fashion because Amalia's dress was then popularized by all ladies of middle and higher class in the urban centres.
Tumblr media
King Otto and Queen Amalia of Greece. I can't believe I found an actual photo of Otto and in a fustanella!
Fun fact: Even though Otto and Amalia were exiled from Greece, Otto asked to be buried in a fustanella after his death.
The second - and last and only long lasting one - royal dynasty, beginning with George I of Glücksburg (reigned 1863 - 1913), followed the western trends more. This is the time the middle class in the urban centres must have started warming up to western fashion.
Tumblr media
The royal family, c.1885.
In the 1900s, the trends in urban areas are still a blend, mostly due to the resistance of the lower class, but western fashion expands more and more. Besides Athens and Thessaloniki, maybe the most west-centric place in terms of fashion was Volos city. Check this picture I had posted some time ago. In the rural areas, traditional fashion stayed strong until the 30s.

Source of these pictures
Also watch this video with Greek fashion of 1900 - 1930. I know for a fact that several of these pictures are from Volos because I had seen them before in another website.
youtube
I believe the final victory of western fashion (even in rural areas) took place in the late 30s - early 40s. By the end of WWII, almost everybody wore western clothes.
