Hey there! Sorry it took me so long, but I finally got my questions ready for your "Solomonar Chronicles"!
I remember that this series was inspired by how bad "Fantastic Beast" got after the first film. (which I get, the other two were such wasted potential) Is anything else from Harry Potter being used for inspiration for your series?
How did you come up with your character names?
Who would say is your favorite character that you made?
Do these characters get trauma like the ones in "Upon a Star?"
Are you going to do more Draconology Files? That one caught my interest the most since I'm studying dragon biology for a villain in my superhero story.
Would this be formatted like a regular book, or play out like a movie?
Is Solomonar Chronicles like a series with each chapter being an episode, or one large story broken up into chapters?
Why did you choose the 1920's for the setting? Its not a bad thing, I actually really enjoy stories set in that period. I'm just curious.
Will we see designs for the characters some day?
Any major villains coming up we should know about?
Are there other fantasy creatures in this world, or just dragons?
I was also curious about your "Dinosauroids Project" story too. I finished the first story of my "Visitors From Pangea" trilogy, so I'm curious how you would write a dinosaur based project.
In regards to original stories we're making, I'm currently creating one called "SuperZeroes", where its a story inspired by all the CBM I grew up with. Not sure if you're into heroes, but I was hoping I could share some stuff I have with you? At least while I'm still building the world and characters.
Thank you! 🐶
Oh hell yeah, ask away!
I took a lot of inspiration from problems I found in the world-building. If you want an in-depth look at the flaws in the Wizarding World, I highly recommend this video. It’s very long, but very good. The main flaw I wanted to tackle with this series is the whole Statue of Secrecy, and how it’s more harmful than helpful for mages and non-mages alike. Also this is not a Harry Potter thing, but weirdly enough Deadpool and Wolverine had a heavy influence on the story.
I looked up lists of common names from the 1920s and picked out some that stood out to me for first and last names. Except for Atticus and Clara. Those two just sort of came to me.
Either Atticus or Jesse, it’s a tough choice. On one hand you have Atticus ,who’s deeply traumatized and scarred but over the course of the story slowly heals and finding good in the world again. And on the other is Jesse, who’s just an absolute sweetheart and so supportive of his lover.
Oh heavens no…it’s so much worse in this series. Just look at Atticus.
Yes, I have a couple in my drafts I’ve been meaning to work on.
Im hoping to get it published as a real book series someday, so it’s formatted like a normal novel.
More like a larger story broken up into chapters, for the most part.
Mainly because that was when the Fantastic Beasts trilogy was set. I’ll probably tie it into the themes of the story better with prohibition and the non-mage government, but for now that’s it. Shallow? Yeah. But it works.
I’ve been digging through concept art to use as references lately. So far the pickings are a little slim for how I envision dragons, but I still have some stuff.
Edward Donahue. He’s basically the head of the mage CIA but somehow worse (Keepers), is the strongest believer in keeping non-mages and mages separate, and oh yeah basically started all of this by killing William Torrence and burning half of Atticus’ face off. So yeah, not a great guy.
There are plenty. I’m not sure how I’ll fit them in at the moment, but they will appear, because I have some interesting interpretations. One fun idea I have is making fairies more like bugs than tiny humans.
It’s based of a theory originally created back in the 1980s by David Russell which explores the question of “What if dinosaurs never went extinct and involved human-like intelligence?” It’s a really fascinating concept that I’m surprised more people haven’t picked up on. My own story is based on concept art created by C.M. Koseman and Simon Roy. Unfortunately I don’t have a solid story yet, just some worldbuilding stuff.
Yes please
And thank you for the asks!

Traitor King: the Scandalous Exile of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor by Andrew Lownie #HouseofWindsor
I'll read anything on Great Britain's royal family, but especially about #EdwardVIII, who gave it all up to marry an American. At least that was the story at the time. The truth is much different #TraitorKing by #AndrewLownie peels back the layers.
Traitor King, by Sunday Times bestselling author Andrew Lownie, looks at the years following the abdication of Edward VIII when the former king was kept in exile, feuding with his family over status for his wife, Wallis Simpson, and denied any real job. Drawing on extensive research into hitherto unused archives and Freedom of Information requests, it makes the case that the Duke and Duchess of…

Record Group 233: Records of the U.S. House of RepresentativesSeries: General Records
This item, H.R. 7152, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, faced strong opposition in the House Rules Committee. Howard Smith, Chairman of the committee, refused to schedule hearings for the bill. Julia Elizabeth Randall
This portrait of her was taken in 1957
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wanna take the time and introduce you guys to one of my OCs!
Julia Randall was born on April 29, 1924 in her home during a storm in Dodge City, Kansas. She was the 3rd child of Arthur Randall and Constance (neé Bennett). She was the younger sister of Edward and Wallace and the older sister of Margaret. Julia grew up in Dodge City on a farm with her family while her father was a part of the military and fought in war. The farm they grew up in had crop fields and raised cows, horses, chickens, pigs and a rooster. Her mother was a teacher at a nearby school for all white primary school aged students and they had people take care of the farm while the family worked and did school. Julia would always help around the house by cleaning, taking care of the farm animals, help her mother cook and bake, gardening and other chores.
During The Great Depression, the farm went through a crisis with a lack of crops. They also struggled during the dust bowl storms and other issues. Julia started taking interest in music and singing at a young age between 6 and 7 years old and her mother took her to lessons like playing the piano for instance. She did very well in her school years and was an intelligent student. She took her studies seriously. At some point during her educational years, she took interest in drama and choreography and also took lessons.
At the age of 17 in the year 1941, her father passed away during WWII from being severely injured and wounded. After graduation, Randall went to California to study drama and did a modeling job.
A Hollywood director named Frank Haynes saw her modeling work and took interest in her and asked if she would be a part of a movie which would be her first film. Julia agreed and starred in her first film: “The Lady in the Lingerie”, a 1946 film. During the making of the film, she was forced to sleep with Haynes because he thought she was super attractive and was madly in love and obsessed with her. He also made her wear a push-up bra to expose her cleavage more to make her even more seductive. He gave her nicknames on the set such as “Babydoll”, “Tootsie” and “Sweet Thing”. Julia later revealed the truth in an interview and said she was “traumatized and manipulated” by him. She never liked him. Frank was 28 years older than her.
She did several other films including her most famous “Hephaestus” (1953) and “Miss Montgomery” (1957). Julia also had albums for her songs. Her most top hit was “Red Lips, Curvy Hips” which released in 1956. She also started appearing in television shows during the 1960s-90s. Julia also got married to an actor named Harold Donahue in 1948 and had 4 children named Cheryl (1951), Linda (1953), Carl (1956) and Deborah (1959) who were all born during the 50s.
When Julia decided to quit acting at some point during the early 90s, she took a job for teaching drama and choreography classes and taught for only 9 years. During that time, she would get calls for coming to late night shows and daytime shows for interviews and did that until the early 2000s. In 2004 (4 years before her death), she wrote a book about her life “My Life as Julia Randall and an American Actress” and sold over a million copies. She was 80 years old then.
Julia ended up developing breast cancer in 2007 and became very ill in late 2008. On the morning of December 13, 2008 in San Diego, California, Julia passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84. Her funeral was held in January of 2009 and was buried in a cemetery in the same city she passed away in. Julia was known to be one of the greatest American actresses, singers and dancers during the 20th century and was also known to be a “sex symbol” and was known as “Tall, Wise and Seductive”. She worked with several other famous celebrities during her career.
That’s all I’m gonna put for now. I’ll do facts about her another time and will be posting more of her. Hope you guys like her! 🩷🥰 Julia belongs to me!

An Ending
Where is the Red and Green today? Is it in Mao's Red Book? or in Col. Khadafy's Green Book? Some perhaps. Leigh Hunt, the English essayist of the 19th century, wrote that May Day is "the union of the two best things in the world, the love of nature, and the love of each other." Certainly, such green union is possible, because we all can imagine it, and we know that what is real now was once only imagined. Just as certainly, that union can be realized only by red struggle, because there is no gain without pain, as the aerobiticians say, or no dreams without responsibility, no birth without labor, no green without red.
The children used to celebrate May Day. I think schools stopped encouraging them sometime around when "Law Day" was created, but I'm not sure. A correspondent from East Arlington, Mass., writes that in the late 1940s, "On any given Saturday in May, anywhere from 10-30 children would dress up in crepe paper costumes (hats, shirts, &c.); we would pick baskets of flowers and parade up and down several streets (until the flowers ran out!) The whole time we would be chanting, 'May Party, May Party, rah, rah, rah!'. A leader would be chosen, but I don't remember how. (Probably by throwing fingers out). Then, we would parade up to Spy Pond at the edge of the Center off Lake Street and have a picnic lunch." This correspondent now teaches kindergarten. "In recent years," she continues, "I have always decorated a May Pole for my kindergarten class (they do the decorations actually), and we would dance around it. It would always attract attention from the older children."
The best way to learn more is to participate in May Day activities and to talk to your neighbours. Using your library's newspaper collection, talking to school teachers, and getting people to talk about their childhood, their strikes, and their working conditions are good ways too. For those who wish to read more, here are a few suggestions.

The ballroom floor was crowded with people dancing as the music play, many party goers buzzed from the cider or drunk off the party's atmosphere. It makes sense for it's a ball celebrating the turning clock of another year of age of one of England's most lovely women.
The very lady of the hour stands still staring out the large glass window of the ballroom, her long wavy locks of golden curls tied up in a gentle curled and rolled up with her long strain rest against the left side of her face, her ears wearing polished pearls much like the many rows around her neck like a tightly snug noose, her gown well kept and not wrinkled in the slightest as she wears her long elegant white gloves and her high heeled shoes peek out under the lace of the skirt just so lightly. Indeed, she has given up her childish short heeled shoes long ago since the whole rumor mill of her engagement cut and the criminal gossip around it. She still can't quite look at the newspaper articles without feeling sick now a days.
"Would you like to dance Lady Elizabeth?"
The voice of a man takes the maiden out her fogged thoughts, her spring green eyes looking to a blond man dressed in a military suit, a cocky grin on his face. With a meek smile, she shook her head, "No thanks. I'm alright right now." She watched as her smile fades as he walks away with a not so hidden scowl. With a sigh she muttered, "Busy bees the lot of them." "My my that's a sudden tongue." Elizabeth whips her head around to see a handsome man with long hair of silver that work well with his beautiful silver coin eyes dressed in fine white with shiny metals on his breasts holding a campaign glass in his black gloved hand. "Grey, hello again." She Elizabeth with a smile and a lighter tone of welcome in her voice for she truly means it as he was simply one of many who have been beside her and her family's side after the whole parade of madness that was the media and trauma.
"Happy birthday My Lady." Said he with a grin that shines, causing a giggle to escape soft pink petal lips. "Thank you so much Charles, you're so sweet." Though the gesture was sweet indeed, Lizzie indeed felt something amidst. "I believe I saw Edward go to the gardens by himself, sure is getting dark-" "I'll go check on him for you."
Lizzie giggles as she watches him hurry out after taking the bait like a bird begging for worms. The two have been painfully obvious for the last few months so it's only natural they see each other away wandering eyes.
She wishes she felt that way again...
As the clock chimes the next hour, Lizzie felt her power hit the bottom of the dance floor. She used to love parties but no they have grown dull. She used to love being a butterfly in center of attention, but now she hated the eyes on her judging her every move awaiting for her to burst. She used to lavish in the moment, but now she just wants to hide away in shame.
Shame of never knowing the difference of her fiance. Shame of "leaving" her fiance and his brother behind. Shame of not once accepting a proposal years later. Shame to have never...accepting that stoic handsome face sooner.
After the entire thing the Midford family worked together with the Phantomhive and Trancy family names as the Queen's Guard Dog and the Funtom business as per pleading request of Lizzie herself. It's honest decent. It distracts her mind and heart from the sudden shift of field. Not at her ex fiance or his twin brother whom she cared for just the same, but to a butler dressed in black with eyes a beautiful red bead color. Lizzie hates herself for thinking of her and him possibly being alone in the garden walks she does when she reads a case. She hates herself for cursing a kiss goodnight from him every night when she feel melancholy. And she hates always thinking on what he said that one day many months ago when he suddenly had to take a leave of absence, his words of confirmation of his much strong affection towards her despite him knowing he can't be with her due to his status as a butler but also as she and her family now know... a demon.
The door open suddenly, the room growing quiet with some whispering murmurs and stares of awe, the sounds of footsteps echoing across the marble floors polish in sparkles as many people stare.
A shadow appears out the ways of the crowd, a shadow of a tall man with hair dark as black combed back and the longer pieces tied back in a bright pink ribbon bow tied tightly dressed in a fine white attire with flares of red and blacks as if the elements were battling right among his skin, a elegant appearance he holds as he's dressed in jewels of many kinds and shiny items that seem like metals if you look closely, his handsome face perfect framed in the shadows and glow of candle lights and the night sky just outside the large bask windows including the large ceiling as his dark eyes shine in a wondrous awe.
With each step he took, his footsteps echo around and into Lizzie's soul as she slowly catches memories of the very man from his gentle smile and that warm glow of his red eyes.
Suddenly, he stops right in front of her and bows much like how a prince does in fairy tale books, his voice deep and gentle, "I am Sir Lord Banishes Calamities, I have came all the way from my homeland to wish you a very happy birthday, dear Lady Elizabeth. And, if you are so kind, I would like to wish you a birthday blessing in a form of a dance if I may so beg?"
Lizzie glanced to her family as her heart swell at the slight plea of his voice, she can tell they know very well who this man is, and she know well that they know her feelings of this moment. She had swore many years ago to never hide from her family again.
So, with a smile, she reaches her hand out and gently took the hand before her. Instantly, the feeling of everyone else has long since disappear from the room. It was just her and him, him and her. Together.

As they dance under the dark sky, Lizzie felt her heart swore in new heights. He may be a demon from Hell, yes, but tell me how she felt like she was in a new found Heaven when she's this close to him.
Her heart swoon more and more with each elegant spin and dip from the mysterious male before her, of course only he can add the flares of the countless fight dances they faced together.
"I must admit, you surprised me." She spoke softly, feeling a drunk flush cover her face in warmth of his senses new her's as her heart beats right against her breast so hard. Sebastian smiles down to her and spins her once more as he speaks low to her, "Well I did say I couldn't be with you due to my status of a butler correct? I figured me showing my status as Lord is more acceptable." Green orbs blink fast as she stares at him, her voice a squeak of shock, "You're a actual Lord?" The demon simple chuckles as he dips her, his face near her neck as if a realistic vampiric creature, the two can simply feel their souls connecting as one as they also hear a new sound...Two hearts beating as one.

Lizzie smiles softly to herself as she gently rubs the golden band coated in a rather large shiny diamond and two rubies and two emeralds on her thin finger. If she could go back and talk with that little girl who made a promise to hide her fencing and be cute and worthy of protecting for the sake of her 8 year old fiance she would happily tell her all the chapters of her engagement and married life of a wonderful man and give birth to their lovely daughter.
The same lovely daughter who stands so still out the largest window of the manor eyeing the road in the front of the courtyard pass the thick floral trees until a black carriage of two come to view. "Mama! Mama! They're here!" Pipped Bell, her seemingly mature appearance shattering into the form of a child in guise of a young teenage lady dressed in dark green as she runs down the halls to the door.
Lizzie giggled and hurried after after she hikes her skirt up to run her flat heeled boots against the floor.
Tumblr media
"I feel so terrible. You and I just got wed and I will have to leave you alone."
Lizzie smiled to her new husband, both sitting on a picnic blanket with a bunch of beautifully adorable treats and tea sat ready before the two, the spring sun high above them as she swore a soft yellow gown with short heeled shoes of a pink color and her hair down her back while he wore a simple white button up and black pants with a yellow tie around his neck and dark red vest unbuttoned on his stomach area with his hands and feet bare with his toes buried in the cold water.
Her gentle arms wrap around his strong one and snuggled her face to his shoulder as she speaks, "It'll be alright Sebastian. Obviously you still have your duties as a butler of a Earl Phantomhive. Besides, we'll still see each other when we work on cases and you can visit as much as you may." Sebastian's eyes slowly scan away from his wife, he honestly looks...bashful?
"Yes but...what'll happen if you and I...have a child?"
Tumblr media
Two hand held together as they watch the scene unfold of the children talking and bonding as always. Beside on Lizzie's left was Doll, Ciel, and Alois while on Sebastian's right was Hannah and Angela.
"Honestly, I still scratch my head at the idea of what things used to be." Said Doll after looking as Albert and Rachel make flower crowns and place them on both Brair's and Bella's heads. The blond girl couldn't help but giggle in response, "I couldn't agree more. But that's a good thing, yes?"

Mageborns Character Descriptions
@signed-sapphire Here you go, since you want to draw the gang so badly. It’s not terribly detailed, since I wanted to give a general idea of what everyone looks like. I’ll work on full character profiles later that go more in-depth on them.
Atticus: Atticus is a pretty average guy. Minus the huge burn scar on half of his face that has claimed his eye. He has messy dark brown hair and permanently tired brown eyes. He looks constantly exhausted, but tends to perk up around his friends. Especially Jesse and Clara.
Jesse: Unlike Atticus, Jesse is much more approachable. His light brown hair is combed back neatly and his short beard is well-trimmed. His blue eyes are always very bright and curious. And generally he has an air of confidence and friendliness that makes him very approachable. Though, rarely, you can catch his staring into space with a distant and hollow look in his eyes.
Clara: Clara is probably looks the most professional and no-nonsense of the group thanks to her job as a teacher. Her dark brown skin is unblemished, and her curly black hair is usually tied up in a long ponytail or a bun. Her deep brown eyes are always look very thoughtful. Her demeanor makes her seem like a very stiff woman, but she’s really pretty alright.
Florence: Florence looks like she just stepped out of a magazine. Short blonde hair, emerald green eyes, even a cloche hat to really complete the look. She often has a little notepad and pencil handy because of her job as a journalist. She always has a pep in her step, and you can tell from watching her for just a little bit that she’s a very spirited young lady.
Edward Donahue: Donahue can make anyone and everyone feel uncomfortable around him. He always has a stern expression on his face, but will occasionally crack a shit-eating grin. (Atticus hates the way he smiles so smugly.) His black hair is combed back neatly and his dark brown eyes pierce right into your soul. Generally he is not someone you want to mess with.
Sorry if there wasn’t much detail with the clothing, I didn’t see a reason to mention anything in particular to them aside from Florence’s hat. They’re all basically wearing a typical 1920’s getup with the long coats and such

Unforgettable — HER BIG "BREAK" with Texas’ Sweet Savage Phil Donahue and Sweet Savage

OBITUARY
PHIL DONAHUE Daytime talk show pioneer
Phil Donahue, whose pioneering daytime talk show launched an indelible television genre that brought success to Oprah Winfrey, Montel Williams, Ellen DeGeneres and many others, has died. He was 88.
NBC’s Today show, citing family members, said Donahue died Sunday after a long illness.
Dubbed “the king of daytime talk,” Donahue was the first to incorporate audience participation in a talk show, typically during a full hour with a single guest.
“Just one guest per show? No band?” he remembered being routinely asked in his 1979 memoir Donahue, My Own Story .
The format set The Phil Donahue Show apart from other interview shows of the 1960s and made it a trendsetter in daytime television, where it was particularly popular with female audiences.
Later renamed Donahue , the program launched in Dayton, Ohio, in 1967. Donahue’s willingness to explore the hot-button social issues of the day emerged immediately, when he featured atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair as his first guest. He would later air shows on feminism, homosexuality, consumer protection and civil rights, among hundreds of other topics.
The show was syndicated in 1970 and ran on national television for the next 26 years, racking up 20 Emmy Awards for the show and for Donahue as host, as well as a Peabody for Donahue in 1980. In May, President Joe Biden awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom to Donahue, who was cited as a pioneer of the daytime talk show.
The show included radio-style call-ins, which Donahue greeted with his signature, “Is the caller there?”
Love at first sight
The show’s last episode aired in 1996 in New York, where Donahue was living with his wife, actor Marlo Thomas. He met Thomas, the That Girl star of the 1960s who was a household name at the time and would later become a regular on “Friends,” when she appeared on his show in 1977. He later said it was love at first sight, and they did a poor job of hiding it on the air.
“You are really fascinating,” Donahue told Thomas, grasping her hand. “You are wonderful,” Thomas said back. “You are loving and generous, and you like women and it’s a pleasure, and whoever the woman in your life is, is very lucky.”
The two had been married since 1980. Donahue had five children, four sons and a daughter, from a previous marriage.
Donahue returned briefly to television in 2002, hosting another Donahue show on MSNBC. The network canceled it after six months, citing ratings — although later leaked email show that it was about politics.
He was born Phillip John Donahue on Dec. 21, 1935, part of a middle-class Irish Catholic family in Cleveland.
Donahue was in the first graduating class of St. Edward High School, a Catholic all-boys preparatory school in the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood, in 1953. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in business administration in 1957.
He later rebelled against, and left, the church, though he poignantly recalled in his book that “a little piece” of his faith would always be with him. After a series of early jobs in radio and TV, Donahue was invited to move an earlier radio talk show to Dayton’s WLWD television station in 1967.
It moved in 1974 to Chicago, where it stayed for years, then ended its run in New York.
The show featured discussions with spiritual leaders, doctors, homemakers, activists and entertainers or politicians who might be passing through town.
A frequent guest was his neighbor Erma Bombeck, the humorist and syndicated columnist.
He said striking upon the show’s winning formula was a happy accident.
“It may have been a full three years before any of us began to understand that our program was something special,” Donahue wrote. “The show’s style had developed not by genius but by necessity. The familiar talk-show heads were not available to us in Dayton, Ohio. ... The result was improvisation.”
That lent a freedom to the show that persisted as it grew to No. 1 status in its class.
Talking about it all
With an amiable style and a head of salt-and-pepper hair, Donahue boxed with Muhammad Ali.
He played football with Alice Cooper.
His guests gave cooking lessons, taught break dancing and, more controversially, described “mansharing,” being a mistress, lesbian motherhood or — with the help of gathered video that got shows banned in certain cities — how natural childbirth, abortion or reverse vasectomies worked.
A stop on Donahue became a must for important politicians, activists, athletes, business leaders and entertainers, from Hubert Humphrey to Ronald Reagan, Gloria Steinem to Anita Bryant, Lee Iacocca to Ray Kroc, John Wayne to Farrah Fawcett.
Outside of his famous talk show, Donahue pursued several other projects. He partnered with Soviet journalist Vladimir Posner for a groundbreaking television discussion series during the Cold War in the 1980s.
The U.S.-Soviet Bridge featured simultaneous broadcasts from the United States and the Soviet Union, where studio audiences could ask questions of one another. Donahue and Posner also co-hosted a weekly issues roundtable,
Posner/Donahue, on CNBC in the 1990s.
Donahue also co-directed the 2006 documentary Body of War , which was nominated for an Oscar.
