99 Songs By AR Rahman Will Shortly Be Premiering On OTT Giant Platform – Netflix

Soon after its theatrical release in the month of April, AR Rahman’s 99 Songs is ready for its release on the OTT platform. The movie is AR Rahman’s debut project as a co-writer as well as a film producer. The film starring Ehan Bhatt, Edilsy Vargas, Lisa Ray, and popular Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala will be streaming on OTT platforms Netflix as well as Jio Cinema from May 21. The film, which hit the big screens on April 16 this year, will be available for streaming in three languages: Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

The Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman shared the news with his fans and friends taking to his social media profile. He mentioned, “Here’s the announcement that will lighten your mood. #99Songs will stream on Netflix. #99songsthemovieonOTT @NetflixIndia @arrahman @jiostudios @YM_Movies @idealentinc @JioCinema #StaySafe @vishweshk @itsEhanBhat #EdilsyVargas @sonymusicindia @SonyMusicSouth”

io Studios also shared the announcement on Twitter about the film’s premiere on a digital platform. “Join Jay on his musical journey inside the world of 99 Songs! Watch the digital premiere of #99Songs written and produced by @arrahman starring @itsEhanBhat #EdilsyVargas from May 21 on #JioCinema,” Jio Studios’tweeted taking to its official page.

The movie’s story is about a boy Jay who is focused on his singing career and is in love with a girl named Sophie. Things go haywire after the girl’s father challenged his music acumen.

 Speaking of which, Debut producer AR Rahman said in a statement, “As part of my production company, YM Movies, I’m happy to collaborate with Jio Studios in bringing together this experiential movie. 99 Songs is about one man’s struggle against the old and the new world. And the antidote is music. It’s my pleasure to introduce the film’s director Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and a talented cast comprising Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas. It was a great experience working with icons like Manisha Koirala and Lisa Ray, and music legends Ranjit Barot and Rahul Ram.”

AR Rahman Posts A Glimpse Of 99 Songs  And It Is Song By Armaan Malik – Watch The Video

Music maestro AR Rahman is soon coming with a movie that has been written and produced by him. Title of the movie is 99 Songs and it has been produced under the banner of AR Rahman’s YM Studios. It is expected to be a romantic musical. Since the beginning of shooting, lot of excitement can be seen around the movie.  Everyone is quite curious to know more about this movie. Most of the people have been questioning AR Rahman to know more about the movie. So, AR Rahman has decided to give a sneak peak about the movie with a video.
