Let's play a reblog game: What's a thing you genuinely like that you just cannot recommend to literally anyone? Bonus points if you give the reason.
#mine is Bat Boy: A New Musical#I genuinely unironically love it#it's campy and has some genuinely good comedy and some of the songs go super hard#the villain is genuinely frightening especially compared to what you'd expect from something like this#Edgar (the titular bat boy) is one of my top-10 dream roles#the entire reason I saw the Beetlejuice musical is because Kerry Butler was the original actress for Shelley Parker I kid you not#BUT#due to the big twist(s?) being what it(they?) are means that this show needs hella trigger warnings#ESPECIALLY if it isn't the version for high school performances#which is a weird place to go but ALRIGHT#but I also feel like the twist is really well-done and I don't want to spoil it for folks#so I just. I do not tell people about Bat Boy#because how the fuck do I explain this weird musical with that specific twist#lalas babbles#reblog game#reblog
