Tom: “So first of all we have our drummer, the og drummer ever since we started the band. Always loves to smash shit and yell at the top of his lungs, and if you got someone that loves to destroy everything and anything around him, then you got yourself a good drummer.

This fucker pounds on that shit like hellfire. Talk about a song with a really-REALLY fast beat, tell Tord to drum, like, “Hey, bitch. Go drum for this song,” and what do ya know? He’s already on his feet SPRINTING for that drumset.

He’s a great guy. Keeps the energy of the group really going. You’ll never get tired recording a song when you got Tord around. Unless you’re tired of his ass, then that’s another story, lol.

And yeah. I ran out of nice things to say. Uh. Fuck this who am I kidding I was lying he’s a total prick. Complete asshole and SMELLS like an asshole.”

Tord: “Sounds like someone’s self-projecting.”

Tom: “Oh and SPEAK OF THE DEVIL. Here you go guys, here is Captain Stinkass Bitchass Motherfucker himself.”

Tord: “Says the fucker that stunk up and clogged the toilet last night.”

Tom: “EH EH EH! LET ME FINISH! Self-proclaimed “bodybuilder” but actually rots in his room reading hentai mags all-fuckin-day and couldn’t even get a girlfriend once in his lifetime.”

Tord: “You’re saying this shit and I’m sitting here with *THREE* boyfriends now.”

Tom: “Make that two once I dropkick your ass out of here, mother fucker.”

So a few months ago I made a Eddsworld boy band au! Or as I like to call it… the Toaster Brains au! (That’s the name of their band btw) I wanted to share this Eddsworld au with you guys because I’m really proud of this au and I think this au is my favorite au that I made so far

I just remember that I have an unfinished tomedd fanfic on ao3 that had a highschool and band au mix into it

Im kind of debating whether or not i should a) continue it cuz i finally have the time to do so b) remake it cuz i noticed some writting errors or c) just leave it in the dust but post about the au because i thought it was great.

To give you an idea, Tom [bassist & backing vocals], Tord [frontman & lead singer], Pat [guitarist], and Paul [drummer] are in a punk rock garage band called Red Riot (as an ironic play on the fact that the Red Army is militaristic). The main 4 are senior highschool students (6th form if youre briish) that attend the same school, while Paul and Pat are 2nd year college students at a community college. Other infos are Edd and Matt arent part of the band, and theyre close childhood besties. Oh and Paul and Tord are siblings (sorry paultord shippers)

The Tomedd dynamic here was that basically, edd admired him for being so cool and tom admired him because he was so dorky ANDD cool

As previously said this was set up for a Tomedd fic but honestly other pairings work just great in the au. Currently more of a tordedd shipper now so id likely make more art of those two in this au with maybee a different dynamic(?)

I'll post more about my au when im energized and confident enough of the stuff i make for it cuz so far all i have are poorly drawn designs on paint, smudged pencil sketches, and miscellanious infos that i dumped all over my notes

Some more eddsworld doodas I hope you enjoy! The first is my prototypes designs for my au "Eddsworld Vanilla Plus" which honestly is just Eddsworld with a lil more realism but same amount of silliness.

The second is actually my design of Laurel in this AU, she's more scene as it is 2009 LMAO and i really want her to have more a presence, maybe not as a main but as a reoccurring side character (I have this idea that she, Tom and Todd perhaps are in a ska band togethere and Tom introduced her to the gang in movie makers officially)

Aside my Laurel rant, the third is Tom and Tamara!! I really wanted to draw them in more Ska wear!!! I been making playlists for the boys so obviously I had to get into Ska music (which turns out alot songs I liked were Ska hehe!) SO I needed them two in biblically accurate wear for them hehe

Eddsworld x Splatoon Idol/Band AU

Tord- he/him- Octoling from the domes, absolutely genius when it comes to machines

Used to create music in secret before escaping the domes

Matt- they/he- inkling, son of the creator of a clothing brand (aka he's rich) had an emo era where he was a rock singer

Edd- he/any - Sea slug that somehow managed to attract the other three and created the band, drummer but used to work making art since he didn't have a band

Tom- he/him - sea urchin who used to play bass on his own until he cane cross Edd, he was fairly successful on his own but he appreciated the company

Edd: “Matt!!! Matt loves the stage a LOT, it’s like she was born for the stage, haha! She can hear one mention of ‘Hey, it’s time to perform’ from a block away, and she immediately goes ‘PERFORMANCE?!?? OH MY GEE A PERFORMANCE?!? CLEAR THE WAY!!! MOTHER MATTHEW IS BACK IN BUSINESS!!’

I’m not kidding she actually said something like that back then. Or something where she speaks in third-person where she refers to herself as ‘Matthew Matthias’ or ‘Queen Empress Slay Cunt’. Yes I am NOT joking!

Anyways, Matt! He’s the lead guitarist and vocalist for a lot of songs, like me! Matt usually does all the loud screaming songs and does all these cool dance moves and stage stunts. I could be lead in those songs if I wanted to, but my vocal cords could never. ^^” We also duet sometimes!

He literally does not stay still whenever he plays guitar onstage. EVER. And you know what? I love him for that. :3 Matthew Matthias is a very cool guy, and she is so so cool when she plays guitar and sings.

And!! Matt and Tom were the reasons why the band started in the first place! Back in high school, they had this musical duo, Matt on guitar and Tom on bass. Then they decided they needed one more guitarist and a drummer, so that’s where me and Tord got in.

And the Creatures From Mum’s Basement thing? The name came straight out of the fact we used to practice in Matt’s mum’s basement. We used Matt’s house for the band, and yes, we did get complaints LOL. Matt’s mum didn’t mind though… Though she did complain about volume sometimes, but she was very very VERY proud of our band. She even got a t-shirt from us. Shoutout to Mrs. Harper. ^^
