The hardest thing in this new reality was finding meaning.  For so long, Cyrax was so wholely dedicated to the Lin Kuei, and whatever they would have asked of him.  And then he was bound by mechanical shackles in his life.  It would only be mere moments before his death when he would be free once again, and put an end to the nightmare that the clan had become.

But that was then.  This is now, and things have changed.  And he was reborn in a fashion.  What Cyrax needed was meaning... a sort of meaning that Special Forces could provide.  Maybe not completely, but at least until Cyrax knows what he’s doing.  

He didn’t expect to see a familiar face, though.

“I can’t believe you did it...  You rebuilt the clan.”  He can’t help but wander through these new halls.  These new and brilliant unfamiliar halls.  Cyrax had taken the time to lay his past to rest, making sure that the machines never rise again.  But for once, goodness has outweighed evil in the world.

He had expected great things from Kuai Liang, of course.  Barring the talent of the young man, he was also the one to put the final nail in the coffin of Cyber Initiative, and with that, start what’s not just a new chapter for the Lin Kuei... but a whole new book for them.  One free of the enslavement that was being turned into cyborgs by the grandmaster, one with honor worth savoring, and one with a bountiful future for the Lin Kuei.

“Tell me, though.  Are they strong?  Can they fight?”  Rebuilding the clan would only mean so much, if the clan had not the capacity to fight.  And the Lin Kuei were nothing if not fighters.
