thanks for your perspective...like you, I also prefer solitude and I'm happy in my own company or just being with hubby, but I also like to socialise, maybe not constantly or all the time, but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or should say something as I do get tired of always being the one to initiate contact with others...maybe they just don't realise they never contact me as they're so busy with jobs, kids,, elderly parents, ettc. while I'm retired and home all day? like you, I've evolved to realise that maintaining relationships, especially when YOU are doing all the work, sometimes just isn't worth the energy involved, so I do try and take it for what it is...

I hate that thing some people do where it's like. "I left my wallet on the table to see if you'd say anything" or "I wanted to see if you'd wash the car if I stopped doing it"

But I am perpetually hovering three inches above the strong subconscious belief that everyone knows what they're doing at all times except me, so if you change your normal patterns and I notice, then I will assume it is an intentional choice with a thought-out plan behind it and I will avoid interfering

Hello. This isn't a hate message, I’m saying this out of concern, especially because you're still a minor. I think it's really important to be educated about certain things when creating content online. The posts and edits you're making do fall under fetish content, even if you don’t intend them to be sexual. Things like inflation and weight gain are commonly recognized as part of fetish communities and the way you're tagging them reinforces that. This can be really dangerous, not just for you but for others as well. You're unintentionally creating a space that attracts adults with sexual interests in this kind of content, and that’s especially concerning when it involves underage characters from a children's cartoon. I also saw your YouTube channel description where you mention being into “Rule 34” and say your content is 16+/18+, even though you're 14. That’s extremely risky. Rule 34 spaces are filled with adult, fetish based material. Engaging with that as a minor puts you in a vulnerable position you could be groomed ettc.

You might be aware of that “Troll Tobey in a diaper” thing... yes, that was disgusting, and even if it was meant as a joke, it was still sexualizing an 11 year old character. What you're doing now isn’t that different, creating sexualized edits of child characters, even if unintentional, is still wrong and unsafe.

Please seriously think about the kind of content you're putting out and the audience it might attract. This isn't about attacking you, it's about making sure you're safe online.

How does one build a fandom?

Because I wanna talk to people about Escape to the Chateau but nobody I know cares about it and the people who ARE talking about it online are mums on facebook talking about their DIY projects

Where are my tumblr people who find the joy in the show to be the moments like when they spent an hour putting up a circus tent in the woods upside down?

Or the fact that 6 seasons in the narrator still always introduces steve who has been in every episode as "builder mate steve" every time he's on screen

Or every interstitial of Rosie the cat just doing cat things because the cameraperson is obviously in love with her

Or when Dorothy (5) punched a woman in the butt during a tour of the chateau

And the narration by Tracy-Ann Oberman. Yes, that Tracy-Ann Oberman. Is SO funny to me. A couple of faves from one episode I watched recently:

And Dick and Angel themselves, the couple renovating the chateau– did I mention this is a home renovation show? Anyway, Dick and Angel are adorable and creative and such good parents that are in love with each other and I just think they're kind and interesting people. Also, Dick climbs a tree
