A Word...

2024 was really a healing year for me, and while it wasn't completely perfect (let's be honest, no year is), I am so surprised with how much I've changed in comparison to the start of 2020, which was the beginning of many hardships of mine (not just globally, thanks a lot Pestilence). Trauma doesn't necessarily "make you stronger" (which is really a grossly simplified saying for people) - it's rather the matter of turning your wounds into wisdom for the sake of not only yourself, but unto others, from recognizing what things weren't your fault, to understanding and taking responsibility of your own mistakes. Everyone is strong already - we all just have different ways of responding to such things. I wish everyone much success and motivation for 2025. You and your feelings are valid. You are always worth it. Your beauty and talent are individual to you, and so can never be replicated. If you know something is for you, accept it without feeling selfish. There are always people who will love you, even through your worst moments; be one of those people.
