SOUNDS LIKE EMRYS knows the wrong people . s h o c k e r . perhaps it is in vanna's best interest to walk away while there's time . less so for the danger of him && more the R I S K of entering emrys' circle of acquaintances . you know . where all the murderers are for some reason .

"i don't know a lot of people who inspire murder in others. should i be impressed or concerned?"

she should walk in the other fucking direction. that's what her brother would say, at least. but even after all these years, beck has no sense of adventure and vanna is still curious as ever.

BUT IF VANNA can see his deaths && futures like the shuffling of cards , then he must be the fucking CAESARS PALACE of her mind . maybe even the entire las vegas strip , if he makes the ' r i g h t ' decisions .

vanna knows when people are going to die. it's a sliding, shifting thing for most people, influenced by their day-to-day decisions, but it takes time to change and shift. someone could be meant to die in their 90s one week and then a week later, it's in their 40s because of the new job they just accepted.

decisions like that matter. she's seen deaths change constantly.

she's never seen someone have so many impending deaths, shuffling faster than anything she's ever witnessed. she's never been so sure that more than one of them will be true.

a few of them are particularly gruesome and she can't help but ask, "are you trying to build the world's longest list of enemies or does it sort of just keep happening to you on accident?"
