The reblog I js saw KDJGNJDKNG I literally. Had a project where I took Chinese characters from a fictional show and made headcanons w/ them as mixed (we didn't have art but I made a Google Slide w/ flags and labelled them)
And some anon was SO MAD they went to another person's blog and said that my friends and I "erased the characters being Chinese". This was after they asked us why we made the characters mixed and we went "B/c we want to". Because we do not need to justify ourselves actually <333 And ofc the person they went to didn't bother to actually look at the source before posting and going "Wow I haven't seen it but if they have done it that's really messed up, why can't they just make them mixed?"
Their excuse was "Oh I was kinda sick so you know I didn't really think through that I should've checked beforehand before responding to the anon" like aight sure honey. Not like checking or asking wouldn't have taken 2 seconds but w/e makes you feel better. I'm sure the majority of the HCs being Blasian toooootally wasn't a factor at play here /sarc
Being sick does not, in fact, make someone "more likely to be racist" lmao. I do not understand this need to excuse bigotry with physical, mental, or developmental health. "Sorry, I had a cold, thoughtless bigotry is more likely" ehrm no actually, I don't think that's the argument you want to make! It's quite a dangerous one!
Anywho, that is not a valid, antiracist comment to make when confronted with your lack of knowledge and racism. Swallow it, apologize, and say you won't do it again. And then actually try not to do it again.

It was still early when Simon woke from what appeared to be some sort of clicking noise. Usually his eyes would've snapped open, but something was different. This wasn't the usual situation he found himself in the morning. He felt utterly relaxed and secure. His sleepy eyes went through the area. Though upon closer inspection of the room, he couldn’t identify the source of the sound. The common room was empty, the sound of your steady breaths filtering into his ears. He didn't dare to look up, fearing that it’d be one of those damn dreams.
But it wasn't. Your hand was still placed flat on his back, the other was nearly trapped in between his gloved ones. Closing his eyes once again, he allowed himself some more time to enjoy the moment, his head rising and falling with your soft breaths. You were still fast asleep, the situation causing a smile to tug at the corner of his lips for a few seconds before his face fell back to its usual resting stoic manner. Reminding himself, he couldn’t stay like this, especially not in this place, that's why he slowly pushed himself up, trying not to wake you during the process.
Sitting at your feet, he tugged you back under the blanket, causing you to shift and grimace in discomfort before relaxing once more. The corner of his lips twitching upwards again at the sight. It was the same peaceful face he saw so often before, when you fell asleep around the team and he'd carry you back to your bunks. How often did he have to pull himself out of your room, when he actually just wanted to stay in your company. And now, he was here, in your embrace. He shook his head, somehow in amusement and somehow in disbelief, and made his way to the other side of the room.
Quietly preparing some tea in the little kitchen corner, he couldn’t help but wonder if this was what a normal morning could feel like? His eyes occasionally dart back to your sleeping figure. He let himself dream for just another moment. Imagining how the mornings in his small apartment in Manchester with you by his side could feel like. Images of you wearing his shirt, sharing a bed instead of this stinky couch, laughing while enjoying your favorite tea. It appeared like one of the most peaceful thoughts he had in a long time. Just like last night was one of the most peaceful sleeps he ever had. He wasn't even sure if he ever thought of something like this. Not after Ghost came into his life, that was for sure. Almost all domestic thoughts flooded his mind and a smile clung to his lips, well hidden behind his mask. Everything about the possibility of a different life. A life he could and wanted to share with you, although he was quick to shake those thoughts aside. He hadn’t a different life, so he’d allow himself to cherish the little moments the world - you - could give him.
“What a beautiful…” Johnny's voice boomed through the common room, but got immediately interrupted. Simon signaled him to lower his voice, an open palm stretched out to him before pointing to your sleeping figure on the couch. Johnny’s eyes were filled with concern as he took your figure in. “Did she sleep here again?” You often escaped your room in the last weeks. Always explained it with noisy neighbors.
Simon only nodded, concealing the fact that you’d slept in each other's embrace and suppressing a smile behind the mask. He couldn’t let the Sergeant win this. Johnny started to make himself some coffee as Simon moved over to the couch, sitting down next to you in his usual spot. The cushions shifted beneath his weight as the scent of your favorite tea flooded your nostrils and you slowly woke from your sweet slumber. That was a little perk of being a light sleeper.
Blinking the sleep from your eyes, you looked up at him, nodding sleepily when he held out the cup of tea for you. The smile that adorned your face was grateful, cheeks flushed with heat when your fingers brushed his as you accepted the offering. Looking into his gaze now in the morning light you froze. There was something lighter in his eyes now, a softness permeating through the usual coldness. Beneath the warpaint, the chaos of high stress missions and the stoicism he always hid his emotion behind, something had been allowed to shine through. Something that looked an awful lot like hope.
“Thank you, Simon.” You sleepily said with a genuine and nearly shy smile on your lips. Soap watched on with mixed feelings while sitting in the armchair across from you. He was annoyed his Lieutenant still hadn't asked you out despite encouragement, and overwhelmed by the obvious pining. Still, he somehow enjoyed this show. He thought it was adorable how helpless the behemoth of a man became when it came to you. Even if Simon thought to conceal all those things, Johnny knew fairly well and in his opinion he already had won.
It was a lazy morning, you and the boys went separate ways, after sharing the preferred morning drinks, to complete the day's work. Stopping by the office to drop off Simon’s hoodie at his desk (again), you noticed a package sitting on yours.
“What’s in there?” Kyle skipped all polite morning phrases and just asked directly, coming to stand behind you as you opened the box. He hovered over your shoulder trying to get a better look. Was it still awkward how close you grew to all of them in such a short period of time? Eventually? Did you mind? Not anymore.
“You know Kyle, curiosity killed the cat.” You smiled smugly and closed the box again. “Need any help, mate?” Your glance wandered to the wall, at the map you produced over the last few days. Kyle shook his head no, still that usual soft smile on his lips. “Call me if you change your mind,” you said simply while patting his shoulder, before you turned on your heel, taking the box from your desk and one from your drawer, to bring them back to your room.
The day continued peacefully. The usual drills like working out with Johnny, taking a run with Kyle, looking after some recruits. Nothing too thrilling. But somehow, you felt uneasy around the recruits. Usually Simon would’ve kept you company but today you were on your own. Nothing you were afraid of, but you had a bad feeling in your stomach and you learned to trust that by now. So you stayed cautious, and you shouldn’t be disappointed in your feelings. The hour was late when you were called in to see Price in his office, your curiosity only growing when you met the familiar brown eyes of your Lieutenant. He held a little envelope in his hand, that he immediately shoved into his pocket as you walked up to them.
“Perfect. Just the two I wanted to see.” Price announced facing you, as you stood next to Simon. John’s usual soft features were serious and stern. You swallowed, fearing that he might have taken notice of your unprofessional behavior. Maybe some of the recruits had seen both of you this morning. Maybe that’s why you felt so uneasy around them, because they did report it to Price. Nothing so uncommon, nothing you haven’t seen before. Especially as part of a special ops unit. Price handed a file to his first mate before he continued and pulled you out of your thoughts. “Thanks to all our hard work, we tracked down the main center of actions and transactions. If we can get access to the bank accounts, we are as good as finished with the job. I want you two to go get it,” he explained while his gaze switched between both of you. “Skadi you’re the expert when it comes to hacking and Ghost is best at slinking about in the shadows.” Your shoulders loosened in relief as you realized it was just a regular briefing. But somehow you were sure that you weren’t off the hook. Price was way too observant. He knew his team too well to ignore the changes you brought.
“When are we heading out?” Simon handed you the file, and your eyes instantly started to read through the lines. His voice was calm as always.
“Early. 0300. Laswell will await you on the other side. Any more questions?” Price looked at both of you.
“Negative,” you said with ease, looking up at your Captain, whose glance switched the slightest. His eyes darted between both of you. It crossed your mind again, that he definitely knew and you would be totally damned.
“You got each other’s back. Right?” His open palms stretched out in front of him. Both of you nodded simultaneously, which made a smile appear on Price’s face. A well known smile. “Good. Dismissed.”
Heading out was easy as always. You bid your goodbyes to Johnny and Kyle who were heading out themselves later, trying to get rid of the next weapon delivery from the warehouses. Same task for Price and König. The mission was simple. Maybe it was because you and Ghost were able to work perfectly in tandem, a well oiled machine also in silence. Even after splitting up, it was no big deal. He was your missing piece and you knew that fairly well.
Staying in contact, you quickly found the room you needed. Thanks to Ghost taking care of anything coming your way, you could easily log into the computers and fight your way through the security softwares. You could watch Ghost over the monitor and warn him if any uninvited guests would cross his way while he made sure to have a way out ready.
“Skadi,” some time later Ghost’s voice echoed through the comms as you browsed through the various files, your eyes darting to the monitor. He didn’t need an affirmation that you watched him, he simply knew. He always did. “Look at that.” His head pointed onto different huge containers, the latest order of weapons you supposed.
Your eyes widened as you noticed the flag of the United States of America all over the containers. “What the hell.” Your eyes found his, as he looked directly into the camera. Even over the distance you had this special connection and an unsettling feeling spread over both of you.
An alarm setting off in the distance pulled you back and gave the sign to leave. “We need to leave.” Ghost’s voice was stern, as he immediately made his way back to your position.
“Give me one second.” Your eyes scanned through the files to get more information about the possible supplier. You needed to dig deeper. Russians and Mexican cartel working together was one thing, but what did god damn America have to do with it now? Was it just a cover for the deliveries? Or was something more behind it? You needed to find out.
“Skadi. Now!” It was a clear order as he stood in front of the door which separated you. You pulled the hard drive out and ran after Ghost, trailing close behind and trying to not gain any more attention. “Laswell sent coordinates of a safe house. 4 clicks away.” He already sent all the new intel her direction, to make sure she could find something out. Bursting through a door you spilled out onto the rooftop, frantically looking for an exit that wasn’t through the horde of enemies which flooded your original way out.
“How did the alarm even go off?” You pushed the door closed again while Simon barricaded it with a thick metal pipe. Afterwards you searched for a possible escape route.
“Doesn’t matter now, ’st need a way out of here.” Ghost joined your search for a safe way out, gaze scanning your surroundings until he found a pipe connecting to what looked like the sewerage system.
“It could lead into the lake.” You voiced, having remembered seeing one on the opposite side of the safe house as you entered. Not exactly ideal, but far better than shooting your way out, not to mention the added benefit of washing away your tracks. “We could give it a go.” You shrugged, watching as your Lieutenant already opened the pipe.
“So, a midnight swim?” He looked at you while placing the seal of the pipe onto the floor.
“How romantic.” The words crossed your lips before you could stop them. An awkward silence settled over the two of you as you screamed internally, slapping yourself for the unprofessionalism. While you had accepted the complicated bundle of emotions you held for him didn’t mean you had to shove them into his face. Hoping he’d take it as your usual teasing jokes. Especially after neither of you had talked about the night in the common room. But the sweet chuckle of your kneeling Lieutenant eased your mind a bit, and at the same time you cursed him for that same reason.
What you didn’t know was that your comment somehow struck a nerve deep down in him. He promised himself to not waste any more time and still he did nothing to help the situation to even make some progress. Something he really had to change. Nobody could know how much time you’d had left with your career paths, and still he couldn’t bring himself to take the first big step. “Ladies first.” He held out a hand to guide you into the huge pipe.
“What a gentleman.” You took his hand, gave him a sweet smile before sliding down the pipe, clutching to your rifle to not lose it. Simon waited a bit before following. Making sure to close the pipe before and to be sure that he wouldn’t directly bump into you during the process. To your fortune the pipe actually led into the lake, so both of you quickly made your way back to the shore. Completely soaked with the cold water. “Jesus. H Christ…Kate really owes me a hot bath,” you said while checking the hard drive while the cold crawled into your system.
Simon only laughed while he checked the coordinates. “6 clicks. Yer gonna make it?” His voice held a bit of concern, but his eyes were still stoic as he looked at you. Putting his rifle back in its usual position. He was still in survival mode.
“Well, it’s either that or dying out here in the cold.” Your voice was slightly sarcastic. Even as you were a year-long trained soldier who had been through hell and back, you still hated the cold. It was your greatest weakness, besides the inner demons you kind of summoned yourself. “Could be worse.” You added softly while putting the hardware away and pulling your own rifle back in position.
“’t least we ‘ave each other.” His accent grew thicker as his eyes burned themselves into you with that sentence. A sentence that held a deeper meaning that you knew right there and then. You blinked at him in confusion about the sudden change in his tone. “Well…” He cleared his throat. “...imagine havin’ Soap whinin’ the whole time.” He cleared his throat once more and averted his gaze into the direction of the safehouse. Johnny could get whiny when he had enough and the mission was as good as over, but he merely did it to annoy his teammates rather than to be actually complaining. It was his way to ease the mood after a long and draining mission. With a sweet laugh of yours you started following Simon’s lead, which would bring you to the safehouse. Waiting for your pick-up after another successful mission.
It took you a good amount of time to arrive at the little cabin. It was nothing special, but well hidden. So, you actually could get some rest and maybe a bit of warmth into your soaked bodies. Simon held the door open for you to step in, after that he locked it and made sure to barricade it. The cabin itself was small, only two rooms. Something like a living room with an old couch in it, which you moved so it faced the door. A little kitchen corner, smaller than the one in the common room back at base and it was definitely out of order. And a small bathroom. Only a sink and a toilet that didn’t seem to work either. “Cozy.” You exhaled while stripping out of your tactical vest and placing it onto the little wooden shelf Simon used as a barricade for the door.
“Could be worse,” he repeated your sentence from earlier while he also pulled himself out of the vest and jacket. Slowly slipping out of his complete survival mode. “Seems like Watcher was prepared though.” He pointed at a duffle bag sitting on the ancient looking couch. Simon leaned against the shelf while you opened the bag.
“Hell yeah!” You pulled out some more civilian, but more important dry clothes. “Prepared as always. Even packed a spare one for you.” You pulled a casual black balaclava out of the bag. You smiled at him while handing him the soft and dry fabric. Nobody followed you here, nobody knew you were here besides Laswell and the driver who’d pick you up. So why not change into dry and warm clothes before the next life or death situation awaits you?
“Maybe we'll find some towels as well,” he said calmly while taking the black mask out of your hand. His gloved fingers brushing against yours for a brief moment. Before he went to the bathroom to look for said utensils, taking the bigger shirt and pants out of the duffle bag and with him.
“Well, no luck therefore.” You could hear his voice with ease from the other room, followed by a shuffling of clothes. You decided to take that time to quickly change out of the soaked bodice and exchange it with the simple shirt Kate packed for you. As well as you switched the wet cargo pants against the ones out of the bag. Getting out of the soaked fabric wasn’t that easy as it clung to your skin. It took you a moment longer than usual, a moment that granted Simon a view he’d never forget. Standing back in the room, the wet clothes in his hands, as he gulped at the sight of your ass in nothing more than the wet panties that fitted you like a second skin. His hands clutching tight at the fabric in his hand. He had to force his eyes away. It wasn’t appropriate, he knew that, but he couldn’t suppress the burning in his abdomen. A feeling that was quite unfamiliar for him.
“Lieutenant?” Your innocent voice dragged his attention back to you, while you couldn’t even imagine that he might peek. “You broken?” It was a teasing comment as you sat down on that stinky old couch after. A place most people would’ve been disgusted by, but you rested on worse things.
“’m good.” His answer was almost shy as he walked over and leant against the wooden shelf in front of the door. Placing the clothes down. You nodded as answer and rolled your shoulders back. Why did you suddenly feel so uneasy, almost nervous? Still you couldn’t help but take in the sight in front of you. It was rarely that Simon wore a plain shirt and jeans around you. Kate made sure to pack some very casual clothes in case you had to take cover. So it really was an unusual choice of clothing for the man in front of you. Most of the time on base he’d still wear some tac trousers and a hoodie. Still you could get used to this sight. Your eyes stopped at his arm. Or better said at his tattoo, staring at it a moment too long.
Simon chuckled, what immediately brought your eyes up to his masked face. “But ‘m the one with a staring problem, hm?” He laughed while crossing his arms in front of his chest. His teasing comment made you smile while leaning a bit further into the couch.
“Maybe I’m just a fan of tattoos?” It wasn’t a complete lie, more of a half-assed excuse. You’ve never seen his sleeve complete. He preferred to wear concealing clothes rather than revealing. Having his beefy arms so clearly on display did something to you, but his tattoo indeed caught your interest. “Never saw yours completely, that’s all…” Before you could continue the sentence, you could hear a deep exhale from him, followed by Simon pushing himself up from that shelf and sitting down next to you on the couch. Knees and body facing towards you. Both of your rifles were leaned against the couch on each side, giving easy access just in case.
“Go on ‘en. Take a look.” His voice contained that challenging undertone again, while he held his arm into your direction. It made you sit up straighter. Your eyes looking into his eyes before averting down to his arm. Taking in the different images, which built the whole piece of art together. He was so close next to you, and still it felt like you were worlds apart. You could feel his gaze burning on yourself, as your own eyes got hooked onto a specific part of his tattoo. A pair of dog tags. Your fingers twitched and before your brain could stop them, your hand reached out to his arm to twist it a bit to take a closer look. He tensed at your sudden touch, but he didn’t interrupt it. Too curious what you’d do again and where it’d lead you. Your fingers brushed gently over that spot on his arms, your brows furrowed slightly as you took the symbol for a fallen soldier in, asking yourself who he had lost on his way that was worth the daily reminder.
Simon observed every move you made, every twitch of your fingers and eyes. He took in the concerned features of your face and another deep breath left his lungs. C’mon Riley, she’s fuckin’ worth it. He mentally punched himself, before he found his voice again. “’ey’re mine.” It was only a whisper, something so uncommon for him, but it was enough that your head tilted in his direction. Instantly meeting his piercing and unreadable gaze. The teasing fractures lingering in between completely vanished. There was nothing more but sorrow and regret in them, but also trust. You couldn’t make out what he really wanted to tell. “Reminder for ‘e day Simon died.”
Your eyes darted between his, processing what he just said. There were so many questions circling your mind, but you couldn’t say anything. It was like your tongue was tied and you didn’t want to dig deeper into that, to push him even more. The statement alone was more than you thought he'd ever tell you. Your fingers lingered on his forearm, gaze turning back to them and your face relaxed a bit. Simon literally was your calming spot. Even with the storm of thoughts in your mind, you felt relaxed with him next to you. Not to mention the warmth his body provided.
His eyes trailed from your soft features to your hand lingering on him, over to this daily reminder. It was a part of him, of his past. The day Simon Riley died, and Ghost was born. It took him plenty of therapists, and a lot of effort to become Simon again. But here, alone with you, it wasn’t hard at all. The feeling of your somehow calloused and still soft hands on his skin. The sound of your calm breaths. It was like Ghost didn’t need to exist. Did it scare him? Eventually. But he needed that. He wanted it for himself more than anything. His hand found yours, as his eyes lingered on your knuckles. A deep scar was sitting right between the first two digits. It was a shame how much you already had to endure, he thought. The scar didn’t look old. Not as old as he supposed it to be.
“What?” Your voice was calm, but his sudden movement surprised you. Never before did Simon initiate contact with you, if not for work purposes of course. His bare thumb brushed over your knuckles, over the damaged skin. It was a different sensation to feel his skin onto yours. You thought his hands to be rougher, but you felt nothing but a soothing tingle. His thumb stopped over the deepest part of the pointy scar.
Before he could even ask, you responded. “Oh…” A desperate chuckle left your throat but got stuck. “It’s … It’s nothing. It was after a nightmare…”, you paused for a moment. Why did everything feel so natural when it came to Simon Riley? You didn't know, but you knew that it was so easy to open yourself up around him, even if he never demanded it or insisted for you to tell him about your past. It just felt easy. “... of Randy’s death…” The chuckle was completely gone, but the softness remained in your tone. “I was mad at myself, again… and I punched a mirror because I hated what I saw. A shard got stuck.” You explained while he pulled your hand closer, to take a better look. His eyes were soft as they looked back at you. He didn’t say anything about it. He didn’t need to. His eyes told you everything you needed to know. It was the same one thing you always saw in those brown orbs:
I understand. You're not alone.
He slowly let go of your hand, to push the sleeve of his shirt a bit up. Hesitant first, but nevertheless he revealed a weirdly shaped scar. Two dots, they looked way too small on his thick arm. “My… father…” He started to be hesitant. He took his time while his chest felt heavy. Simon had never told anyone else besides Price, but he knew that you deserved this. “He had some weird…hobbies…” Simon’s eyes were pinned onto the wounded skin. “Brought fuckin’ snakes into our home… wanted us to become brave…” You absently reached out to the spot. Your thumb circled around it while your hand couldn’t reach around his whole arm. “Said that’s how we’d become real men.”
Brows furrowed, as your brain processed all the information. Your eyes found those dark ones again. Just like him you didn’t respond to his words. He didn’t need any pity. The look in your eyes was enough for him. A glance full of understanding, of empathy and at the same time adoration. Something he always found in your eyes. Even after the darkest moment, they brought a light into his life. A warm feeling did spread in his chest. That was something he couldn't let go off.
You swallowed the lump back in your throat while pulling your hand back. Somehow this became the time you reveal your lifes to each other. This was the turning point you never thought could happen. Simon let you in, he let you see his soul. So the only thing you could do was repay the amount of trust. Aiming for the hem of your shirt, you slowly pulled it up. “Back when I became Lieutenant,” you started slowly, but it was so natural to talk about it. Completely different sensation to talking to a therapist.”, they sent me out to take care of some hostages. I took König with me. It is his specialty.” You pulled the hem higher up, revealing a huge burn mark beneath. From the left side of your abdomen to way higher was nothing but burned skin. “It was a trap… a set up. I miscalculated the whole thing. König saved my life, and in the process, he burned nearly half of his face and upper body. Still feel fucking guilty about it when everything I got was… this.”
Simon slowly reached out to let his hand stroke over the burned skin. Your tense shoulders relaxed as his hand stroked over your flesh, while your heart started pounding against your chest.. His hands were much softer than you ever expected and his touch so warm. They came to a halt. But not on that injury you told him about, it was a bit lower, a scar he was too familiar with. His hand took the grip of your waist, gently but destined. His warm hand lingering over the scar you got back in the chem factory. The scar he caused, the one he felt immense guilt for. He pulled you a bit closer, his forearm resting on your thigh by now, he didn't dare to let go of your waist. You only shook your head knowing about his internal fight, signaling to him that it is fine. Even if he wanted to apologize another time; he didn’t. But he decided something different.
Simon’s head hung low for a second, you could see how the wheels in his head kept turning and working, before he took his free hand to pull up his shirt. Mentally he was having a fight. Simon vs. Ghost. The familiar fight he always had when it came to you. His other hand stayed on your waist, glued onto that spot even when your shirt was already down again. His hand felt like it belonged there and you couldn’t mind after all.
His free hand revealed his bare stomach and part of his chest while pulling the shirt up. If this were a normal situation between civilians, then you’d be already on another. But this was anything but normal. You both open to another in a way that was more intimate than anything you have ever witnessed. It made your heart ache. There were several scars planted onto his perfect body, but one stood out.
It was just below his chest, above his rips. His free hand pointed it out before he looked into your eyes. His glance held nothing but trust as your hand already reached out and you placed your flat palm onto his rib cage. You could feel his muscles flex beneath your touch. You could feel how his chest heaved to let go of a deep breath. A breath he didn't notice to hold in. “I…I once was captured.” He started slowly; his voice was so low and nearly trembled. You just knew that this was hard for him to talk about. “They tortured me. Tried to break me.”
He still faced you but his eyes shifted into the distance. Another deep breath followed while you listened carefully, keeping track of every word. “Raped me. Hung me from a hook which they put through my ribs.” Your eyes went back to the spot your hand was placed on, your thumb slowly brushing over the spot said hook left. Simon knew that even after all those years he could still feel the pain within these scarred skin. But suddenly here, in this decrepit cabin, with your soft touch it felt okay. “They even buried me alive. They…he took everything from me.” A pathetic chuckle left his throat, while his eyes focused onto your figure again. “But Ghost came back.”
The hand on your waist gently squeezed you, while the slightest smile tugged at the corner of your lips and suddenly you realized the real meaning of his tattoo. Suppressing the need to say something, it became an unspoken deal. Telling each other about those things without any commentary. Because it was easier that way. Because you literally knew what the other would say about it anyways, because you did understand. You always understood each other. You were his missing piece and he was yours. That’s what you really needed to say to each other and still, neither of you could.
Maybe those emotions were misplaced in this very moment, but he trusted you enough to tell you all of that and you trusted him. You withdrew your hand and went for the strains of your hair sitting on your shoulder. You tilted your head to the right side to reveal your throat. A deep scar just sitting at the side of it. A scar Simon already had seen during the time you were unconscious in the infirmary. His hand immediately reached out to lay soft over it. It made your breath hitch for a moment. “I once…” You started but could feel how the air left your lungs. Simon squeezed your waist once more. Just a sign of comfort, of reassurance to take your time. One hand on your waist, the other on your shoulder. “Before the 141… before the Wolves… there was someone.”
You averted your glance from his. Staring down to your lap where your hands found each other. “He … I … “Simon’s hand wandered from your shoulder to your cheek. Taking a firm grip and you instantly leaned into his touch. Closing your eyes at the comfort he brought you, the strength to go on. “… we made a promise. We’d rather see the end together or we’ll go down below with each other.” Biting the inside of your cheek he didn’t hold, you looked back at him. “He did go… and I couldn’t keep my promise.” A burning sensation spread through your throat and you could feel tears building up in the corner of your eyes. You couldn’t remember the last time you cried in front of a person that wasn’t Randy nor König. “I didn’t succeed.”
Your words let his stomach turn. The vicious look in your watery eyes, a look he knew too well. He pulled you a bit closer, your knees now trapped between his thighs, while his thumb caressed your cheek. In this moment he wanted to break the silence, to tell you so much, he wanted to thank god that you couldn’t keep that promise. That he got the chance to meet you. That you had changed his life and point of view. His masked forehead tilting down to rest against yours by now. His eyes closed while your hands were still clutching on another. The tears stopped. His touch sent shivers down your spine, the coldness was completely gone as you leaned more into him. Your heart was pounding in your chest and still you felt nothing but save.
Before you could start to enjoy this closeness, he pulled back. His hand leaving your face, he didn’t want to force you to look at him, as his thumb hooked under the hem of his mask. He didn’t want to pressure you to do anything. “’ose folks.” He slowly pulled the black fabric up, revealing his chin covered in a blonde stubble, something you had seen often before during your night smokes. But he kept pulling the fabric and with every inch he pulled up, he knew that Ghost had finally lost this fight. “They didn’t stop. For nothing.”
Your heart was nearly exploding as the mask slipped past his lips, past the tip of his nose. You couldn’t help but stare. His upper lip was parted through a huge scar that reached his cheek. It was on his right side, the side that was always hidden when he sat next to you. His nose crooked. Your hands let go of each other as you reached out to let your thumb hover over the scar, over his lip. Not daring to touch it.
“Wanted to mark me in every way possible…” His thumb let go of the mask to let it sit halfway on his face. Already revealing some of the warpaint on his cheeks. He tilted his head slightly so one of your hands cupped his cheek, just like he did with you before, and he nearly melted under your delicate touch.
Your free hand reached for the mask, pulling it the slightest to see if he’d intervene. But he didn’t, he only closed his eyes, and you pulled the mask completely off his face. Revealing his messy blonde hair underneath. Some more scars all over his face, mostly covered by the black paint. He opened his eyes once more as you didn’t move any further. Breath caught in his throat, bracing himself to find any sort of disgust or regret, as his glance were pinned onto yours but he found nothing but adoration.
As you took in all the features of his face, you couldn't help but trace some of his scars with your finger. Soft and carefully. Like he could break any second under your touch, but he did nothing but absorb even the slightest touch. Simon Riley was nothing less than perfect to you. He was equally handsome as pretty and every part of his damaged skin told a story. A story you were a part of now and you couldn’t wait to write the next chapters.
You were sitting closer together than before, the hand that held onto the black fabric lingering on his thigh as you leaned just a bit more into him. Your lips brushing only the slightest over the scar on his cheek. So close to his lips, but still not there yet. Still enough to make him squeeze your waist another time. Your thumb caressing his cheek afterwards. A moment so short that Simon asked him if that really happened. He wasn’t the person to grow nervous or lightheaded, but right now he felt as helpless as a kid again, but for the first time in a good way. Somehow awkward and still so hopeful. His free hand found your other waist, as his now bare forehead was pressed against yours.
Nobody said anything anymore. You just stayed in that moment. Both found more than you could’ve ever wished for. Both of you were broken, shattered into pieces. But Randy once told you that even a broken piece could become a whole. Maybe he was right. Because right here, in that cabin in god knows which forest, both of you found some peace. Some solace. You found an intimacy stronger than anything you could’ve imagined. You found something neither of you thought could ever happen to you.
His hands held you firm by your waist, while you clung to his cheek. Foreheads pressed against each other. No words were needed anymore. Nothing left to say, as he pulled away. Only the slightest. Only to be able to look into your eyes again. By now you were sure, that the thing you slightly witnessed in his glance was hope. Something you thought yourself had lost.
The slightest smile tugging at his lips, causing you to do the same, as his eyes darted between yours and your lips. You could feel your heart exploding beneath your ribs as he leaned in again. Different than before. His head slightly tilted, his nose only merely millimeters away from yours. You could feel his hot breath brushing over your skin and you closed your eyes, entrusting him with whatever he’d do. And Simon acted. He didn’t listen to the internal screams of Ghost. He didn’t think with his brain. He did something he thought he had forgotten: He listened to his heart. It would only take one more second till…

One more night ⇾ JJK
Pairing : You x Jungkook
Genre : Fluff / Light Angst / Smut / e2l (kind of)
Words : +12k
Summary : In which when Jimin told you to have fun, he didn’t exactly mean to bang his friend.
✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦
Someone once upon a time told you that opposites attract. You say bullcrap. It was just another way for people to justify their doings and probably their failures. It was what you truly believed for all those years. Except, eventually it came bite you in the ass.
You were in your last year of college, last year of hell and then you would be free. Your parents had told you that college would be the best years of your life, that you would meet amazing people (and you did, you couldn't deny that) and you would meet your significant other. That, however, you didn't. Not because nobody was interested in you but boys meant trouble and drama and you didn't need this kind of mess in your life.
Or so you thought. Until that night.
"What do you mean you slept with JungkookN" Hana half yelled at you, not caring at all that you were in the middle of the cafeteria and that somebody could hear you (you certainly didn't need the world to know that you, Y/N, the girl who clearly showed her disdain to fuck boys, had actually banged one of them). You hurried to clap your hand over Hana's mouth, shutting her up before her lousy mouth could get you in unnecessary trouble.
"Can you scream it even louder?" You complained, your eyes sending daggers, before you quickly added, "I don't need any more remarks on the matter." You let go of her and slumped back on your chair before slamming your head with a little too much strength against the table. "I'm screwed."
"Literally." You heard Hana mutter but she didn't make any more remarks, instead you felt her eyes on you, watching you silently. Hana had known you for over five years now, five long years and in those five years she had learnt a lot about your animosity to a certain type of people. Jungkook was definitely part of them. No matter how she looked at the situation, Hana couldn't comprehend what exactly had changed. "Ok, I really don't understand how it happened."
You shifted your head on the table to look at her, brows furrowed. "What do you mean you don't understand? He has a dick, I have a vagina. It happened."
"God. I didn't mean that." Hana groaned at your words, the image all too clear in her mind.
"Oh you didn't? Sorry." You, of course, didn't mean it at all and Hana was all too aware of that; she rolled her eyes at you.
"Sorry my ass." She mumbled before putting her elbows on the table and rested her head on top of her hands. "Ok. So, miss, tell me exactly what happened. We'll see if it's as bad as you think."
"Oh doc, no, the sex was amazing. Mind-blowing even. I mean, you know him, this stupid muscle-pig." You started rambling but cringed pretty much at your own words because it brought back the images from that night. No, you didn't need a reminder of how he sent you right to heaven.
"Wow ok. Too much information."
"You asked doc. I was just being honest with myself for once."
"If you liked it that much, what's the problem?"
"Are you seriously asking me that? Should I remind you that I hate this asshead's guts? He walks like he owns the place, use girls-"
"They know that and ask for it though." Hana interrupted you and smirked at your outraged expression.
"Not the point!"
"Oh please, go on."
You sighed dramatically and straightened yourself on your chair. "Oh, I forgot to add. Did I mention that he's one of Jimin's best friend?" Hana's eyes widened in shock. "Guess not."
"I mean, I knew they were friends but best friends?"
Speaking of the devil. You didn't have time to add anything else when your eyes landed on a group of friends that entered the cafeteria, noisy as ever, laughing their ass off and looking stupidly hot (but you wouldn't admit it out loud either). Of course, you and Hana weren't the only one to notice their presence, many heads had turned to look at them, whispering, squealing, commenting. You, however, bit on your lips and you tried your best to disappear and go unnoticed (especially by a certain boy going by the name of Jeon Jungkook). It almost worked. As they approached your table, it was highly impossible for you not to spare them a glance (maybe a part of you was afraid of what could happen if Jungkook recognized you), just to catch Jimin winking at you.
"Asshole." You mumbled to yourself while looking at him. He didn't hear you but he read on your lips (and maybe he knew you all too well to guess your reaction). Jimin chuckled to himself and just when they had reached your level, he discretely patted your head making you slap his hand away.
Hana put her hand over her mouth to muffle her giggles but it didn't work quite well - you glared angrily at her before huffing in annoyance and whispering a traitor.
"I will never get tired of watching you and Jimin bickering." She admitted
"He's an ass!" You whined in frustration. "You don't know what it likes to live with him!"
"Hmm, I would rather feel bad for Jimin. He's stuck with you."
You gasped in fake outrage, bringing your hand to your heart, feigning being hurt. Truth to be told, Jimin and you were just a bunch of weirdos that have been friends for too long to count. You have been together through thick and thin, and no matter how much insults you threw at him, both of you knew they meant nothing.
"Ehrm, I don't want to alarm you," Hana started, her face suddenly turning white, "But they're coming back." You sat up straight on your chair, your whole body tensing instantly, your breath hitched in your throat and you stared right at Hana. "Don't look back. Oh shit."
"What."
Hana didn't need to answer though. You heard chairs moving just behind you, someone apologized for bumping into your chairs (the voice sounded kind of familiar but your body felt numb and your brain stopped functioning properly).
"You left early." You recognized the voice this time, it belonged to Namjoon.
"I barely remember how I got home." Jungkook sighed. "I was wasted." But then he looked at Jimin. "I saw your friend. She's not that bad."
If you thought your body was tense before, now it was so much worse. You couldn't think straight, you couldn't breath, his voice echoing in your mind.
"Yeah?" Jimin said disinterested and yet you couldn't ignore his eyes boring holes into your back. You were in trouble.
"I saw you leaving with a girl though." Another one commented, laughing at the reminder. "She looked eager."
"Yeah. About that. I tried to remember with who I left but I can't remember at all." By the sound of his voice, you realized that Jungkook was genuinely upset about not remembering you, that being said you were relieved to know he didn't remember. "I only remember she had a tattoo on her right breast."
Jimin choked on his drink and started coughing madly. Namjoon, right away, patted his back to help him to calm down. All eyes were on him, some curious, some laughing. You, however, wanted to dig a hole and hide as far as possible. You were doomed.
"You're alright buddy?" Namjoon asked and gave another strong pat.
"Yeah, sorry. Got surprised."
Two minutes later you received a message from Jimin.
Jiminnie [1:05pm] : Meet me in 5 in the library.
Shit.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
"When I told you to have fun I didn't mean to bang one of my friends." Jimin deadpanned as soon as you joined him in the library. Jimin grabbed your arm and pulled you between rows of shelves, hiding both of you from unwanted attention. He looked upset, frowning deeply at you.
Of course you knew Jimin was right but your own ego, and a bit of your embarrassment, made it impossible to admit it out-loud. So you only rolled your eyes at him and freed your arm from his grip. "No shit Sherlock."
Jimin completely disregarded your rudeness and instead started interrogating you. "I thought you hated him."
You chewed at your bottom lip, nervous and quite frustrated at the same time because yes, you thought you hated Jungkook (though the word hate seemed not quite appropriated, too strong even), and no you didn't exactly know how you ended in his bed (that was a lie, you knew exactly why but admitting it was out of question for your own sanity).
"What are you going to do now?" Jimin asked more calmly this time as he let go of your arm and just stared at you, concern, this time, written all over his face. "This is a mess, Y/N."
"I know. And I'm sorry, it just happened." You sighed in defeat. Suddenly, you felt extremely tired and your head throb signaling the beginning of a headache. "Hopefully, he won't remember about going home with me." You didn't want him to remember. You were scared. Despite the time you had spent with Jungkook at the party, you still didn't know him, therefore you didn't trust him. You didn't know how he would react if he ever found out. "It won't happen again."
But Jungkook made it hard for you.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
Three days later, your life went back to normal. No clouds, no storms on sight. And no Jeon Jungkook. You didn't talk about him, not to Hana and certainly not to Jimin, you had this mutual agreement that nobody should mention the party or Jungkook (and they didn't, too scared to face your wrath).
Everything went perfectly smoothly during those three days. No more parties, no more surprises. You were back on working on your project. But good things never lasted long in your life. The night you decided to go to the gym to blow off some steam, happened to be your worst decision ever. You didn't go to the gym as often as you used to, mainly because Jimin didn't want to go with you anymore (his excuse being you're too slow with what you highly disagreed every single time). But maybe you should have stayed at home.
To your dismay, Jeon Jungkook went to the same gym as you. You froze right on the spot as your eyes landed on him. What were the odds for both of you to go to the same gym? Or maybe, Jungkook had always been there but you never paid attention since you minded only your business. But tonight, seeing him working out in black sweatpants and a large black shirt, forced you to think back about that night. His muscles flexing as he lifted some heavy weight.
For fuck's sake. What does he think he's doing?!
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, motivating yourself. You can do it. Forget about his presence. Easier said than done. Especially when Jungkook stopped his workout to have a break and drink some water. He wiped the sweat from his face (you gulped hard at the sight), rubbing his hair with a towel. You palmed your face in despair and you couldn't hold back the images from the night. You couldn't ignore how he had hoisted you up, ravishing your lips as you pulled at his hair, fighting him with all your strength for control. Needless to say that you were a goner. But if you thought thinking about that night was troublesome you were wrong - Jeon Jungkook was staring back at you, smirking.
Fuck my life.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
The second time you met Jungkook was at his dance practice. You stayed after class, studying in the library, working on a project (and just maybe it was an excuse to busy your mind with something other than Jeon Jungkook). The campus was almost empty except for some who stayed for their clubs activities. If you were a good friend, you would have listened to Jimin's blabbering and would have known that walking by the dance club was a really, really bad idea.
You froze on the spot, looking through the huge window, you saw Jungkook dancing in the room, music blasting. You were completely mesmerized with his dancing, his body moving in rhythm with the music. By the frown on his face, you saw him concentrated on his moves and yet, there was something else. Jungkook felt free and looked happy while dancing.
Another day, you would have ran away and cursed at your bad luck. But tonight was another day and instead of turning back and leaving, you peeked through the half-opened door. You simply stood there, your grip on the strap of your bag tightening.
When the music stopped, Jungkook fell on the floor, panting, sweating but a huge grin spread on his face. He looked satisfied with his work and you could agree with his feelings, he was a perfect (not like you were a pro yourself but it didn't stop you from admiring his work).
Jungkook turned his face and looked at you. At first, his face was blank, his eyes seeming a little bigger than usual but then his face broke into a smile and he changed his position, from laying on the floor to sitting, waving almost cutely at you.
"Do I look disgusting?"
-Flashback -
"Are you sure you can drink all of it by yourself?"
"Why? You think I can't handle my liquor?"
"Wouldn't know. I think it's the first time we're talking and that I don't feel like you're going to rip my balls off."
You actually laughed at that. You couldn't help it. "Here." You offered him the bottle, daring him to drink with you.
Jungkook's eyes darted back and forth between the bottle and your face. His initial plan wasn't exactly about drinking with you or talking but suddenly the perspective of getting to know you didn't seem that bad. He accepted the bottle and took a sip, wincing at the taste -you laughed at that and clapped your hands happily.
"Okay now I remember why I don't drink vodka." He handed you back the bottle
"Poor little thing." You cooed, mocking him openly, the alcohol made you brave and maybe a little bit stupid.
“Oh so you want to make fun of me huh. Go on.” Jungkook played your game. “But we’ll see who between us will get drunk first.”
“You.” Jungkook didn’t know yet who he was dealing with, if he knew, maybe he wouldn’t be so smug about the challenge. Jimin too once challenged you; you recognized that your friend could hold his liquor just fine and yet against you he lost. Jungkook, you believed, would too because he made the mistake to underestimate you (however you didn’t exclude the option that he could win too since you didn’t know his limits either).
“We’ll see that.”
“How nice of you to challenge me, Jungkook. It had been a very long time since I played this game with someone.”
Jungkook considered you for a moment, in utter silence, before finally cracking a smile and shaking his head in amusement. He didn’t expect you to be so tough and yet somehow fun to be around, it wasn’t exactly the image of you he had pictured for all this time. You didn’t seemed so intimidating sitting there and drinking with him.
“Am I still repulsive to you?”
You looked at him, eying him from head to toe. “Oh yeah. Absolutely disgusting.”
Jungkook would have been offended if not for your giggles that followed your statement. You couldn’t just hold back, especially not when he looked so puzzled with his big eyes at you. Jeon Jungkook didn’t seem so bad when he looked like that.
-Now-
"Yes. Absolutely disgusting."
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
The third time you encountered Jungkook happened at your place. Jimin decided, without asking for your opinion (and you quote "You're bored anyway so let's have some fun yeah?"), to invite some of his closest friends which included of course Jungkook. You had groaned and promised him a very slow and painful death. Obviously, the threat didn't work on him. But you refused to make things easier for him. Instead of helping him to prepare the house for his improvised party, you watched the TV in an oversized hoodie and shorts, perfectly unbothered by Jimin's desperate glances (you believed one day he would try kill you in your sleep).
"What the hell?" You heard the now all too familiar voice echoing from the hall. You had been too immersed in the TV show to notice the bell ringing until it was too late. "Hold on." Jungkook pointed an accusing finger at you. "You said your roommate was cool"
"She is cool." Jimin defended your honor before quickly adding "Except for today, she had been all bitchy."
You nicely showed him a finger before smiling sweetly at his other friends. "Hi guys."
Jungkook's face stayed blank for a moment before he finally nodded and looked at you. "At least now I know who's your drinking buddy.
Namjoon and Jin exchanged a quick glance before shrugging and joining you. Namjoon sat beside you on the couch, quickly joined by Jin. Jungkook chose to sit on a chair just in front of you.
"Hey." Namjoon called you. "Isn't it Jimin's hoodie?"
You glanced down at the hoodie and shrugged as if it was nothing. It did happen occasionally, Jimin's oversized hoodies were just too comfortable for you not to steal from him. Jimin groaned at Namjoon's remark and playfully nudged your shoulder before sitting beside Jungkook.
"She's a hoodie-thief." Jimin approved
"Are you guys together?" Jungkook asked out of nowhere, eying both of you.
None of you answered right away, instead you looked at each other, incredulous. A part of you perfectly understood their confusion but you couldn't help but find it hilarious too. Apparently Jimin did too because he burst into laughter and slapped Jungkook's arm.
"Hell no. She's a dude."
"Ha." You scoffed. "I don't consider him as a man."
"Rude."
And somehow the little bickering between Jimin and you put all of them at ease.
"Beer?" You suggested, a smile on your face as you exchanged a quick glance with Jimin.
You escaped to the kitchen, leaving them time to settle and talk. You guessed that the night would be all about playing games and drinking. You promised not to play with them but you couldn't say no to alcohol.
"Need some help?" Jungkook's voice startled you.
"Bloody hell!" You half-yelled, your hand on your heart, you didn't hear him following you. "Are you trying to kill me?"
"No?" But when you looked at him, he was smiling sheepishly at you. "Sorry."
Jungkook stayed at the door, leaning against it as he stared at you with his arms crossed over his chest, looking effortlessly handsome. The sight of him stirred something inside you. You tried hard not to stare (not too much at least) but your eyes wandered, from his face, to his chest, to his arms. God, Y/N. You're losing your shit.
"Take a photo, lasts longer." Jungkook interrupted (rudely) your staring.
You fight back a blush, there was no way you let him know how confused he made you feel. Instead, you shrugged. "You know what? Sounds like a good idea. Except my phone is in my room."
"Are you flirting with me, Y/N?"
"You wish."
"No? Because it sounded like an invitation."
You rolled your eyes at him and decided ignoring him was the best thing to do. You took the bottles of beer from the fridge and prepared the plate to bring to others. You almost managed to ignore the burning gaze on your back, Jungkook was staring, you knew it. You felt it. You closed your eyes to take a deep breath, your grip tightening on the bottle but then you felt him way before you could hear or see him. His arms stretched on either side of you, trapping your body between him and the table. Your breath hitched at his proximity, your body stiff, you couldn't breath or move, all too aware of the heat emanating from his body.
"Here." His warm breath tickled your ear, making you shiver, you felt your core springing to life. "Let me help you."
You inhaled sharply, gripping the plate as if your life depended on it, knuckles turning white. He was so close to you, his fresh and minty scent invading your senses. All you had to was to lean back and you would rest against him. Shit. How were you supposed not to think about the party when he was so close to you? When you had a perfect view on his veiny arms?
-Flashback-
When Jimin told you to have fun, you took his advice to the letter. You didn't really interact with people at the party mainly due to the fact that some of them were already half drunk, some you didn't like and some were just too busy flirting (and you couldn't possibly get in the way of that). It resulted with you emptying your second bottle of beer a little too fast. It wasn't strong enough to actually make you drunk but it was enough to relax, to make you more approachable too.
As the music was blasting in the house, you found yourself slowly moving to the beat. You put your empty bottle on the closest table and then joined the dancing bodies. You saw a classmate of yours, she grinned at you and stretched her hand for you to grab - and you did. She pulled you right between her and a friend of her, you assumed, and you started dancing. Everybody was in their own little world, some just dancing, some making out openly. Nobody cared.
The beat of the music resonated in your head, in your body. The scent of alcohol and tobacco hit your senses. In other situation, you would have scrunch your nose and made a face, but tonight, with alcohol in your system, it made you smile and savor the moment. You closed your eyes and let the music guide you.
You didn't know for how long you have been dancing, too absorbed into your world, your mind absolutely empty; you felt good about yourself, about your emotions, about your body, you felt confident and strong. Music and dancing had their own magic.
When you opened your eyes, a very unusual and unexpected sight presented before your eyes. Someone was staring at you, intensely, bewitched by your movements. It shouldn't have mattered, you were at a party and things like that happened all the time except the person was none other than Jeon Jungkook, the guy you proclaimed hating ever since you saw him banging a girl in one of the dance studio. But tonight, you were out of your mind, you realized because for the first time you saw him in a different light.
Jungkook looked absolutely handsome and hot.
He wore black ripped jeans with a black shirt with half buttons undone showing his toned chest and effortlessly attracting attention on him. His hair were parted in the middle, longer than you remembered and curly. You wished for a second you could run your fingers through them and tug at his soft locks. The look in his eyes sent shivers down your spine. His eyes were dark, feral, intimidating, it screamed danger. Tonight Jungkook was a predator in search of a prey.
Someone shouldn't look that good was your conclusion.
Jungkook's lips twitched in amusement and you mentally slapped yourself for staring back for so long. He was openly smirking at you as he took a sip of his drink, his eyes never leaving yours. The predator had found his prey.
There were two options, two possible outcome. You could run away and forget about this Jungkook. Or, and you were probably out of your mind for even contemplating it for a second, you could play his game.
You chose the later.
The staring contest between you two only got more intense; your moves got bolder, swinging your hips along with the music. You ran your hand slowly from your stomach to your neck. Jungkook wasn't the only one who could seduce, you could too.
And it worked.
Jungkook gulped at your behavior, unsettled for a brief moment before he chuckled to himself and ran his fingers through his hair. God, you wanted to do it too.
Jungkook emptied his glass, his decision taken. He found his prey for the night and he had no intention on letting you go just like that.
But you didn't make things easy for him. You saw him emptying his glass. You saw the look in his eyes, the resolution, the lust. You got the resulted intended. However, you didn't wait for him to join you. You had a better idea on mind which included you toying a little with Jungkook. Just as Jungkook joined the crowd, you walked away but not without glancing one last time at him. He halted in the middle, confused for a moment but then you winked and laughed. You got him there.
On your way to the garden you grabbed a bottle of vodka, it seemed like the right moment to spice things up (and maybe you weren't drunk enough yet).
The garden was almost empty. You spotted a couple laying in hammocks and another couple making out under a tree. It didn't bother you and they didn't mind your presence either (you were pretty sure none of them even noticed you). You stopped by the pool. You put the bottle on the ground and then took your heels off. You sat on the edge of the pool and put your feet in the water. The water was fresh but felt amazing against your aching feet. You took a sip of the vodka straight from the bottle, scrunching your nose at the bitter and burning taste and yet, now that you were comfortably settled, it felt good.
"Are you done playing hide and seek?"
You smiled to yourself at Jungkook's words. Of course he had followed you, you didn't expect any less from him. And yet, you had to admit that it felt weird hearing his voice and to have him addressing to you.
"Maybe. Maybe not." You playfully answered and took another sip.
Jungkook joined you on the ground but instead of following your example and try the fresh water from the pool, he sat with his legs crossed.
"You look different."
Oh. So he does remember me after all. You snorted at his remark and turn your face to look at him straight in the eyes. Yep. Still feels weird to be around him.
"Do I?"
Jungkook was watching you and seemed genuinely curious about you. He didn't have many opportunities to talk to you. He knew you were Jimin's friend just like he remembered seeing you at some of his classes too but except from that he never could talk to you. The reason? You were quite an intimidating little thing.
"Yes. Less scary."
"When do I even look scary?" You scoffed
"Most of the time. And especially when you're scowling at me in class."
The sarcastic part of you was dying to bite back, but the reasonable part reminded you that yes you happened to scowl at him almost every time your eyes would meet. You shrugged, finding nothing to say in your defense and drank some more.
-Now-
Jungkook shifted to the side, letting you breath. He took the plate with the beer and snacks, winked at you before leaving you all by yourself. Frustrated.
I hate him.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
After the improvised party at your place, Jungkook got much bolder with you to your biggest dismay. If before the party he didn't try to speak to you, now he would randomly plop by your side at the library or cafeteria or would simply start talking to you in the middle of the hall. You wished you could say it annoyed you but it would be a big fat lie. Jungkook was, despite his fuck boy tendency, a nice, funny and open-minded guy. It was hard not to like him.
You walked to your next class, music blasting in your ears, once again, you were lost in your thoughts, not paying attention to your surroundings. Maybe you should change your habits for your own safety. A strong arm circled your shoulders and the next thing you knew you were pressed to Jungkook's side. You stumbled, your hand by reflex grabbed his arm, digging your nails into his forearm.
"For fuck's sake!" You yelled at him which only made him smile childishly at you. How were you supposed to stay mad? "I'm going to kick your ass one day, Jeon."
"Charming. I'd love to see you try." He winked at you.
"You think just because you can lift some heavy shit I can't beat you?" You huffed in annoyance and resumed your walking without waiting for his reply. Jungkook, however, didn't give up and followed you, walking at your pace.
"Did you enjoy the view?"
Maybe you shouldn't have mentioned that. You bit on your lips and mentally facepalmed. Jungkook got you there. But there was no way you would let him know just how badly he affected you.
"Yes." You admitted and glanced at him, your head high. "Happy?"
You didn't wait for his answer but heard him whisper a yeah.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
Jimin plopped down at the other side of the couch where you were sitting comfortably, studying for the upcoming exam. Despite Jimin being awfully noisy, you had managed to concentrate on your work. Until Jimin kicked your legs. The first time you ignored him on purpose but then he kicked a second and a third time. You threw a rubber at him (which he of course dodged easily, expecting this reaction from you) annoyed with his behavior.
"Rude." He complained but smiled anyway. "What got your panties in a twist?"
"Your stupid face for instance." You kicked his leg in return but he grabbed your ankle and pulled at it, making you squeal and make your book fall on the floor.
"Jimin!" You whined and tried to free your ankle from his grip. It didn't work at all, he held your ankle tightly before a smug smile spread on his lips and he started massaging your foot. "Oh shit."
"So? Why are you grumpy?"
Jimin, despite his angelic looks, was the devil in disguise. Or maybe you've been friends for too long and he knew his way with you. Probably a mix of both. Just like he knew you would melt and spill the beans in exchange of a massage.
"Shit, shit. It feels too good."
"Does it now?"
"Yeah."
"Now you don't hate me?" Jimin halted for a moment just to hear you whine in protest. He chuckled heartily and gave your foot a gentle squeeze.
"Fuck, fine. I don't hate you. Happy?"
"Very. Thank you."
You slid on the couch to give him better access to your foot and closed your eyes to enjoy the massage (for once you didn't need to beg him for it).
"Jungkook asked me about you." Jimin said without looking at you. You, however, opened one eye to peek at him.
"And so?"
"He understands why I keep you around."
"You're just as big of a pain in the ass."
"True." He approved. "He still doesn't remember with who he spent the night though."
"What do you think about Jungkook, Y/N?"
You were surprised with how serious Jimin sounded, it forced you to look at him, confused at what exactly he wanted to hear from you. Jungkook? Another pain in the ass but who was terribly attracting. You sat up on the couch, legs crossed as you looked back at Jimin. "I don't know."
"You don't know or you don't want to say it out loud?"
"Ugh. Fine. He's nice. Very nice."
"Nice?" He quirked a brow at you, amused. "Nice as in I totally want to bang him again or nice as in you want to be friend with him?"
Both suggestion sounded nice. You wanted to answer as friends but you realized by the look Jimin was giving you, he already knew the answer. "Both."
Jimin only hummed in response which bothered you more than you wanted to admit.
"Ok. Spill."
"What?"
"You want to say something, clearly."
"Honestly? I should tell you that it's a bad idea but you kinda look cute together."
You sighed in defeat. There was no denying, you were whipped for Jeon Jungkook.
"Oh. He asked for your number. I gave it to him."
"What?!"
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
Unknown Number [8:15pm] : I know you're busy today, but can you add me to your to-do list?
"Oh my god." You almost fell from the coach as you double-checked the message. You didn't recognize the number but judging by the horrible pick-up line you could only guess to who the number belonged.
"Jimin. Does Jungkook's number finishes by 47?"
Jimin's face showed up at the door of the kitchen, peeking at you. "Yes, why?" Jimin, however, didn't wait for your answer, his face lightened wickedly at you. "Of course. What did he write to you?"
Just to be the annoying friend, you stuck your tongue out, holding your phone protectively over your chest, you didn't answer him.
"Oh come on! Y/N! I'm your best friend!"
"You know already too much!"
"Pff."
You [8:20pm] : Depends on what you need from me, Jeon.
Jeon [8:21pm] : Oh! You guessed it was me!
You [8:21pm] : Who else would use such a bad pick-up line?
Jeon [8:22pm] : I bet you smiled.
You [8:22m] : No.
Jeon [8:23pm] : You did, didn't you?
You [8:23pm] : What do you want?
Jeon [8:24pm] : I actually need your help. Because of dance practice, I missed some English classes. Can we meet?
You stared blankly at your phone, pondering over his question. A part of you truly wanted to say yes, not only because you wouldn't mind helping him but because you could spend some more time with him. The other part of you rang the alarms in your head; meeting Jungkook meant getting to know him better, to get attached and you couldn't let him trouble you more than he already did.
Jeon [8:26pm] : Pretty please?
Fuck. He won.

Jungkook and you decided to meet on Saturday afternoon at a Starbucks. Nothing better than a hot date (which he was't you wanted to think) and some good coffee to brighten your day. And yet, when you arrived five minutes earlier, you found Jungkook already waiting for you, a huge smile spread on his face at your sight. He had two cup of coffee waiting at the table for you.
"Hi you." He beamed at you.
You thought Jungkook couldn't surprise you any longer. Wrong. You barely joined him at the table, he stood up and eagerly embraced you into a warm hug. Unable to breath, you stood awkwardly, letting him hug you as if you were some close friend. His arms around you lingered a little longer than necessary but you would lie if you said you didn't like the feeling. You closed your eyes just for a brief moment and allowed yourself to enjoy the hug.
"Hi." Your voice sounded weak and so foreign to your own ears. You hoped he didn't notice it and if he did, he didn't comment.
"Thank you for coming." He said. "Here, I got you a cappuccino."
You stared at the cup before you eyed him cautious. "How do you know I drink mainly cappuccino?"
Maybe your eyes were playing you tricks but you swore he blushed.
"I noticed you drinking it almost all the time."
"Jungkook, do you have a crush on me or something?" You joked to hide your own embarrassment. Why did he need to be so darn cute?
"What if I say yes?" He dared to ask and looked straight into your eyes, no longer shy.
To say that you were taken aback by his bluntness would be the understatement of the century. Your heart missed a beat at his serious face, your face slowly heating up and there was nothing you could to prevent that. How ironical was that? All this time, you were so proud of yourself for staying out of troubles, not caring for guys. And then came Jeon damn Jungkook. You weren't so proud any longer.
"You don't need any help with English, do you?" You ended up saying, relaxing a bit. There was nothing you could do, except embrace your own feelings.
Jungkook smiled sheepishly at you. He put his elbows on the table, resting his head on top of his knuckles. "Touché. But tell me, Y/N, would you have said yes if I asked you out?"
To spite him up, you wanted to say no but for once you played nice. "Fine. You're right. I would have said no."
"See."
You huffed but smiled into your cup of coffee.

It was past midnight when your movie night ended. It was supposed to be a night spent with Jimin since according to him ever since you started talking to Jungkook you spent less time with him. He was of course exaggerating. Or at least you hoped so. And yet, in the middle of your second movie of the night he had to leave to rescue Jungkook. You had to fight the urge to ask him what happened and if he needed help but that would only make things worse for you.
You glanced at your phone, almost expecting (because you couldn't admit out loud that you were actually hoping) to see a message from Jimin.
"God. You're pathetic, Y/N!' You scolded yourself. You threw yourself at your pillow and hid your face in, muffling this way your screams of frustration.
But you were cut short in your self-pitying when you heard noises from the hall. You almost jumped out of your bed. You should have expected Jimin to come back sooner or later except it was noisy and Jimin wasn't supposed to be noisy.
Quickly, you got up from the bed and peeked through your half opened door. Jimin was in the hall and not alone. He had his arm tightly wrapped around a very drunk Jungkook who kept stumbling on his way. You almost wanted to laugh at the view; a very pissed Jimin and a giggly Jungkook, it deserved a video just to show them later. It was adorable. You mentally slapped yourself for even thinking something like that.
"For fuck's sake, Jungkook." Jimin groaned in frustration. His patience was at his limit, you could tell it by the frown on his face. He dropped Jungkook on the couch.
"Aw Jiminnie, don't be mad." Jungkook cooed and maybe he was unaffected by Jimin's angry look only because he was drunk. Jimin could get scary when he was mad and you believed that Jungkook knew it too.
"Shut up." He grabbed his legs and lifted them from the floor to move them on the couch. "Why the hell did you drink that much? Dumbass."
But Jungkook only giggled and nudged him with his foot. You didn't remember Jungkook being so childish the last time you saw him drunk but it was somehow endearing.
"Hey Jiminnie. Where's your cute roommate?"
You froze at the door while Jimin froze beside him. Your heart suddenly decided to act on its own, beating a little faster and you felt your face heating up.
"You know she's really cute."
"And you're drunk."
"Have you noticed how she would scrunch her nose when she's concentrated on something?" Jungkook asked absentmindedly, not really looking at Jimin, not really expecting an answer either. "Or how she would tap with her pen and roll her eyes whenever someone says something really stupid?"
Your grip on your door tightened, a little too much, making the door squeak and grabbing Jimin's attention at the same time. You were caught red-handed. Jimin, however, relaxed at your presence and smiled fondly at you.
"Yeah. She does that a lot."
"She's feisty and stubborn as hell. And a tiny bit judgmental but I guess we all are at some point." Jimin actually laughed at that and you huffed in fake annoyance.
"Jeon Jungkook, you're completely whipped for my best friend." Jimin deadpanned. "But don't tell her all of that or she might bite your head off."
Jungkook giggled, seeming terribly amused with Jimin's advice. You, however, felt the urge to barge in the room, slap Jimin's arm for being smug and hug Jungkook for being so adorable.
"Wait here, I'll bring you a blanket." But instead of doing what he said, Jimin winked your way and left for his room.
The little shit.
But you didn't complain. You grabbed the spare blanket from your room and brought it to Jungkook. He had his eyes closed, a hand covering his head. You hovered over him for a moment, observing him, checking him, before covering him with the blanket. You stood by his side for a moment, thousands of thoughts running through your head. I like him. You realized it. It took you time to understand your own feelings, you were in denial for so long but it was undeniable. Jeon Jungkook, the boy you judged so hard, the boy you thought you would never be able to get along managed to break through your walls and capture your heart. Tsk. So annoying. But you smiled.
"Sleep well." You muttered, ready to leave.
But then, out of nowhere a hand wrapped around your wrist, tightly, and the next thing you knew, you were pulled harshly making you fall right on top of Jungkook. Your hands were now pressed against his torso and as you raised your head to look at him, Jungkook was staring at you. He was no longer pretending to sleep, his big eyes didn't seem so drunk anymore either, they were intense and you shivered under his gaze.
None of you talked, just looking at each other. Your heart pounding hard to the point that you were sure Jungkook could feel it too. If he did, he didn't comment. Instead, he let go of your arm before his fingers reached for your cheeks, gently stroking your skin and you, you couldn't do anything except being hypnotized by him. His fingers moved slowly from your cheeks to your lips, he pressed gently his thumb against your lips and you inhaled sharply, surprised with his action and at the same time so awfully tempted.
"Hi?" You muttered
Jungkook's face broke into a huge smile at how lost and confused you looked which was so out of your character but it pleased him.
"Are you flustered?" He asked innocently but by the look he was giving, he clearly was amused.
"Am not!" Maybe you shouldn't have hurried to answer because it made him grin only wider.
You huffed and tried to straighten up without success because as soon as you did, he pulled you back against him.
"Oh no. You're not going anywhere."
"Jungkook!"
"No."
"Jeon Jungkook, you better let go or-"
"Or what?"
Or I'm going to melt. Stop it. But you couldn't say it out-loud without risking another teasing. You groaned, frustrated and embarrassed at the same time. He was impossible to deal when he was drunk you decided. But if you thought he would stop there, you were wrong once again. Just when you thought he was slowly releasing his grip around you, he wrapped both of his arms around you and pulled you in a tight embrace. He shifted on the couch and somehow managed to make space for your body too. You ended up your back pressed against his chest, his face nuzzling in your neck as he hugged you tightly.
You didn't have the strength to push him away and maybe you were too astonished with his behavior to react too. You let him do as he pleases.
"That's nice." He sighed in delight. "I can get used to it."
Yeah. Me too.

When you woke up the next morning, it took you a moment to emerge and understand where you were. You remembered a very drunk and sweet and giggly Jungkook. You remembered falling asleep in his arms on the couch. And yet, when you looked around, you were in your room, in your bed.
What happened? Did I dream?
Hesitantly you moved to the edge of your bed, you grabbed the blanket that was over you and took it with you. Jungkook was nowhere around.
"He left twenty minutes ago." Jimin startled you, a cup of coffee in his hands. "He wanted to grab his bag before going to class."
"Oh." You nodded and went back to your room to get ready, making sure to avoid Jimin (and any comments he could make about last night).
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
Assisting to a marketing class when you were half asleep was probably not the best idea of the century. Through the first part of the class you kept yawning and the second part you slowly started drifting away. The buzzing of your phone, however, forced you to open your eyes and glanced at your phone. You still had a message from Jungkook that you refused to open and then a new message from Jimin. You clicked on the message, expecting a joke or a funny picture, except the result was much worse. It was a picture of you and Jungkook, sleeping peacefully together. Jungkook arms around you, his face in the crook of your neck, his nose bumping your neck and you had your hand on top of his.
"Oh shit." You half-yelled, attracting all attention on you. Not only of your classmates, Hana and Jungkook were looking at you but so was your teacher.
"So Y/N. Do you have something to say?" Your teacher asked, amused at your sudden outburst and considering the fact that you were sleeping in his class (he let it go only because he knew you were a good student).
"Sorry, got distracted."
"Were you now? At least you're awake now."
You groaned at his teasing but at least the didn't push further. Hana though was ready to question you.
"So?" She leaned expectantly and stared intensely at you, almost intimidating you.
"Nothing."
"Nothing? Babe, you were half asleep. Look, you even have some drool left." After all this time you should have known that she was just messing with you and yet you started rubbing your chin with your sleeve to make sure there was nothing. Hana laughed.
"Bitch."
"Love you too."
You contemplated the idea of showing her the picture (which were lovely and you wouldn't delete) but it was risky, Hana could be noisy and just as annoying as Jimin and you didn't want to deal with her drama.
"Don't ask." You finally said and looked away. Except your eyes fell right on Jungkook who was looking back at you.
Stop it.
You quickly averted your attention, grabbing your phone you typed your message to Jimin.
You [10:30am] : Don't even think about coming home. I'm going to kill you. Slowly. Painfully.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
It took you another week of mopping around, of denial and of avoiding to come in terms with your stupid feelings and treacherous heart. You had tried hard not to think about it by distracting yourself with all possible way: studying, watching movies and when your usual distraction didn’t work, you chose the only other way you knew: partying. Jimin, as the perfect best friend that he was, suggested you to come to his friends’ parties –you refused every single time, knowing all too well who you would meet there. Instead, you went to your cousin’s parties where you would not know half of people. If socializing was tiring, at least the free booze was worth it.
And yet, despite all your efforts to avoid the unavoidable, you came to conclusion that you were doomed from the moment you decided to play his game, from the moment you caught his eyes at the party, from the moment you let him in your life. You couldn’t deny it, you were in trouble just because you let your crush develop into something else. Something you had avoided for so long. But it was true, you had fallen for Jeon Jungkook, the guy you were supposed to hate.
You sighed for probably the tenth time this morning while crossing the parking of your campus. It was still too early for the campus to be crowded but it seemed like someone else was eager to get earlier. the sound of motorbike resonated just behind you, startling you. You turned around to scowl at the troublemakers but your voice got stuck in your throat. Of course it had to be Jeon damn Jungkook.
Just my luck.
You could deal with facing Jungkook or you could just simply escape before he would spot you. What bothered you however was the girl sitting behind him, her arms tightly wrapped around him, resting her head on his shoulder. You couldn’t ignore the horrible green monster that was eating you from inside. But who could you blame other than yourself?
Ha Y/N. Did you forget what he was?
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
Maybe skipping your last classes for the sake of some time alone at your place wasn’t the best idea. You had, like probably many students before you, skipped some classes before, but it happened only once or twice until tonight. You wanted to be by yourself, far from your friends, far from the crowd and far from Jimin.
As soon as you got home, you put on your pajama, grabbed chocolates, chips and drinks before locking yourself in your room. You had the perfect plan to distract yourself: watching cartoons and forget about everything else.
Except your phone buzzed beside you, forcing you to burst your little bubble.
Hana : Should I worry? Where are you???
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. A part of you just wanted to throw your phone somewhere you couldn’t see it and pretend the outside world didn’t exist at all but your reasonable part won over.
You : I’m fine. Home.
And with that you switched your phone off.
The second time you were interrupted was barely two hours later. You had long forgotten about the time, too concentrated on eating and watching Tom and Jerry to actually pay attention to any noise coming out of your room.
The first knock at your door made you shut your eyes, knowing all too well that Jimin was finally back home. The second knock made your fist clench and by the third you gave up ignoring. And yet, you couldn’t find the strength to tell him a simple ‘come in’. Jimin invited himself in without your words, taking the risk to get scolded by you.
“Y/N?” He called for you and opened the door
Jimin’s eyes darted back and forth between your lazy body and the TV, weighing your mood and how bad it was. He leaded against the door with his arms crossed over his chest. “Tom and Jerry. Really?” You only glanced at him without answering his question. “Am I allowed to come in or are you going to kick me out?”
You sighed in defeat. With one swift move you removed your blanket and patted the empty spot beside you. Without a word he joined you on the bed, crawling from the edge to your side. You put back the fluffy blanket over you and let him watch the cartoon by your side.
In another situation, maybe you would have shared your thoughts with Jimin, he was your best friend and love trouble was something you used to discuss a lot but Jungkook was his friend and you couldn’t let your own feelings and fears get in between them.
“I can’t remember when was the last time we watched cartoons together.” Jimin muttered and stole some chips from the bag.
“When you had your nasty breakup with Hyeri.”
“Oh? That long?”
Jimin glanced at you from time to time, hoping you would talk. When he got a message from Hana, he did panic a little at your unusual yet familiar behavior. It wasn’t the first time, but he didn’t want it to get as ugly as the last time.
“Come here.” Jimin opened his arms for you to snuggle against him. There was little he could do if you didn’t want to talk but he was willing to give you what you needed anyway: the support of a friend.
You welcomed his invitation with a small sigh of delight, instantly shifting closer to him and resting your head on his chest. His warmth, his presence, his scent, everything in Jimin comforted you and you felt almost silly for trying to hide from him too.
“Thank you.” You whispered and pressed your head a little harder against him.
“You’re welcome.”
When Jimin started playing with your hair, you closed your eyes and reveled in the feeling of his fingers running through your hair.
“I like him.” You opened your eyes and stared before you.
“I know.”
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
The first thing Hana did when she saw you the next morning was to give you a tight and warm hug, rocking you from one side to another. You couldn’t breath and wanted to push her away but her grip on you only tightened.
“Do you feel better?” She let go of your body but just for a second, her hands stayed however on your shoulders. She was frowning, still worried about you.
“Yeah.”
“Sure?”
“Yes.”
“Absolutely sure?”
You groaned instead of replying and Hana let go of you with a chuckle.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
And despite your initial annoyance you couldn’t help but smile tiredly at her sweetness. You felt bad for worrying her and for ignoring her. But then, your eyes landed on Jungkook who walked along with Namjoon.
“No. Let’s go?”
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
Just when you thought you could busy your mind with your next class, someone, not say who, managed to make you change your mind. There weren’t many seats left in the class and out of all empty places Jungkook chose the one just beside you. Jungkook didn’t say a word to you, he simply sat beside you, waiting for the teacher to start the class. You, however, couldn’t concentrate any longer, you couldn’t stop yourself from staring at him, your mind going crazy, screaming at him to explain himself. But he didn’t.
Until he couldn’t take it too. He turned to look at you, looking nervous with your staring. He rubbed his neck, slowly, and gulped. “Ok, what’s up?”
The sound of his voice brought you back from your slow mental breakdown, forcing you to find an answer to his question. And yet no sound left your mouth. What else could you possibly tell him? A part of you wanted to scream at him and tell him he was your problem, another part wanted to ignore him and then, there was the part of you that just wanted to talk to him and forget your worries.
“Now I feel intimidated. Should I worry?” He joked and laughed nervously
What came next, you couldn’t prevent, it was just too damn tempting. Out of nowhere you pinched Jungkook’s cheeks, holding them tightly and looking straight into his eyes while he blinked furiously at you, dumbfounded with your action.
“As if.” You stated
Jungkook looked like he wanted to say something but was cut short by your teacher, startling you which caused you to let go of him and regain your composure. You cleared your throat and avert your attention from Jungkook to your teacher. Your heart pounded in your chest and you could feel your face heating up as realization of what you had done hit you. What the fuck do you think you’re doing Y/N???
It was Jungkook’s turn to stare, his eyes wide opened. He opened his mouth and then closed it almost instantly.
“Okay, that was unexpected.” He whispered to himself but you being close to him heard it anyway.
But Jungkook being Jungkook, quickly returned to his old-self, no longer taken aback, he leaned closer to you, his feet touching yours under the table, you stiffened at the contact but didn’t say a word. “Do you feel better now?”
“What?” You looked at him
“Were you avoiding me, Y/N?” You didn’t like how your name sounded. It wasn’t a reproach but Jungkook didn’t look so nervous anymore and instead had a small smile in the corner of his lips, slowly turning into a smirk as you turned slowly your head to face him.
“Look who’s intimidating now.” You huffed in reply and feigned annoyance. He could stare at you all he wanted, he could invade your personal space but there was no way you could tell him that he was absolutely right. Jungkook understood it quickly. “Fine. Don’t answer.”
“I have a dance competition next month. Will you come?”
“Oh?” That was new. “Against who are you competing?”
“Many different colleges from the town.”
“well then, I will but you better win.”
“Be my lucky charm?” With that, he put his hand on top of yours. Your eyes followed the movement, gawking at his hand. And here came the butterflies, the goosebumps and your crazy heart.
You must be out of your mind.
By the end of the class, you fell into a comfortable silence. From time to time Jungkook would lightly bump you with his thigh or elbow you. If at first you believed it was by accident (just because he couldn’t keep on place), by the third time you realized he did it on purpose to get any reaction from you. He got nothing except for a slap on his arm and a scoff.
“You’re impossible.” You eventually said as you got up from your place ready to leave.
“Why?” He batted his eyelashes at you.
“Sure, pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about.”
Before you could leave him, Jungkook grabbed your arm and pulled lightly at it, obliging you to lean closer. You grabbed at his arm to prevent yourself from falling right on top of him. You had a snarky comeback just at the tip of your tongue, ready to snap at him. And yet, it died as soon as it came when you followed his eyes: Jungkook had a perfect view on your revealing top which meant he could see the only thing that prevented him from remembering. Your tattoo.
To say that Jungkook was shocked would be the understatement of the century. His face went blank and for a second you thought he had stopped breathing. He didn’t but the view of your tattoo made him forget everything he wanted to say and instead very vivid images filled his mind.
- Flashback-
You couldn't remember anymore how you got to Jungkook's place. Not because you were too drunk (you probably were otherwise you wouldn't be latched onto Jungkook's lips in the first place), but because you were too busy kissing, teeth clashing, tongue battling. No matter how strong Jungkook was you refused to let him have the last word and he let you believed (easily) that you had won the first round.
Latched on his lips, you stumbled twice but even in his drunken state he held you, his hand firmly pressed in your middle. Jungkook pushed you gently inside his flat, breaking the kiss just for a short moment to close the door. You groaned at the loss. The door barely closed, you grabbed him by the collar and yanked at it, bringing him at your level, your body pressed against his, seeking for his lips. They were soft, warm and felt heavenly against yours. You were addicted.
Jungkook led the way, you moved backwards, trusting him. His hands kept roaming around your body, from your neck to your back to the curve of your butt to which he gave a strong squeeze making you groan into the kiss and pull at his hair in response. Kissing was nice, felt divine even and you felt even more intoxicated, addicted, but it wasn't enough. Your body became overly sensitive with just his touches that left burning trails everywhere he touched you. Your core kept pulsing, feeling wet and terribly empty.
You broke the kiss for a second and you pulled your dress over your head, leaving you in nothing more than your bra and panties. Jungkook exhaled loudly, admiring the sight of you, from head to toe, wetting his lips at the tattoo on your right breast. He was hungry.
You opened your arms widely, inviting him to claim his prize. And oh boy he did. He cupped your face and planted his lips on yours, nudging you gently so you would resume the walking.
Until your hips met a hard surface. Jungkook instantly hoisted you up and put you on top of the table. His hands slid on yours thighs, stroking your skin before finally spreading your legs widely and settling in between. Jungkook looked absolutely fucked up (and without a doubt you looked the same, lips swollen, hair messy, his eyes darker than ever and completely blown. You licked your lips, shivering in excitement at what would come next.
"This need to go off." You pointed at his shirt and he complied without a word, smirking at how bossy you suddenly sounded. You had to stop yourself from drooling as he took of his shirt, exposing his strong arms, veiny hands and defined abs. "Shit."
"Like what you see?"
"Yeah." You gasped as he gently pinched your inner thigh. You wrapped your legs around his waist and pulled him against you. "But you know what else I would like?" You nipped at his jaw, gently at first before biting on it. Your lips traveled from his jaw to his cheek to his ear that you caught in between your teeth, pulling at it and you smiled at his low growl. "The idea of your face between my legs." As you confessed your desire, you pulled away to look at him and at the sight of Jungkook's feral gaze you almost let a moan slip. You definitely wanted him between your legs.
"Yeah?" Jungkook's nails dug into your skin and then he pulled you closer to the edge with a swift harsh move. He sank to his knees and ended face to face with your throbbing core. He pulled at your panties with too much strength and you feared for a short moment that he would rip them - you forgot all about it when he kissed your clit, making you arch your back and bit on your lips. When you thought he would finally give you what you desperately needed, Jungkook surprised you by moving his lips to your thigh, kissing, licking your skin, leaving marks for you to remember later. You whined in protest, wanting him back on your center and not somewhere else. You grabbed his hair in attempt to switch his attention but with a blink of an eye he had your wrist in his grip and he glared at you from between your legs, looking annoyed and dangerous. And terribly seductive.
"Don't move or I'm not letting you come at all tonight." He warned you.
The bratty side of you wanted to protest and pushed at his buttons to see what could happen but the possibility of not having your release when you desperately needed one calmed you down. You nodded and he let go of your wrist to go back to business.
"Good girl." And just like that, his lips were around your clit, sucking, flicking his tongue and making you cry out his name.
"Feels good." Since he didn't let you grab his head, you held for your dear life by the edge of the table, your grip so strong, your knuckles turned white.
"Shit. Jungkook." You mewled, completely lost in your own pleasure.
There was little you could do when Jungkook ravished your clit, but then he pushed a finger inside you - it was game over. You couldn't hold back your moans any longer, your bucked your hips, wanting him closer to your core. He pushed a second finger, stretching you, pumping them, curling his fingers inside you to massage the right spot. Your thighs were shaking with every lick and curl of fingers and then, you let out the loudest moan.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, don't stop." And Jungkook chuckled at your pleading, his chuckle vibrating against you.
He was good and knew exactly where to push to completely unsettle you, to have you whining, trashing under his ministrations. You couldn't remember anymore when was the last time someone went down on you and even less remember someone as good as him. Suddenly, you understood why girls were so drawn to him and asked for more despite knowing he would never settle down.
It didn't take long for Jungkook to bring you close to your release, you could feel it with all your being. But so did Jungkook. With one last thrust of his fingers, he pulled away, leaving you empty, trembling and panting with your face flushed. You cried desperately at the loss. "Jungkook! You little-"
He laughed and gave one last kiss to your clit before moving his lips higher, ignoring completely your complains.
"Where would be the fun if I let you come right now?" His lips travelled to your belly, his tongue circling your belly button before kissing his way to the valley of your breast. "I want you to cry, to beg and only then to come around my cock." Jungkook glanced at you from between your breast as he wrapped his mouth around your hard nipple, flicking his tongue over it before biting it softly and you couldn't help but pull at his hair and press him closer to your chest.
"Jungkook."
"Hm?"
You were at a loss for words at the sight, your core clenched and you felt yourself even wetter if it was possible. God you hated yourself for feeling so turned on, for liking him so much, for letting your desire win but nothing could stop you anymore. Not when your heart were racing. Not when your senses were overwhelmed. You grabbed him by the neck and forced him to stand up just so you could capture his lips in another intense and sloppy kiss.
"Jungkook. I want you. Now." You ordered against his lips.
"Hmm, I don't know. You weren't very nice to me." He pulled away, his hands rested on your hips as he stared at you.
"Jungkoooook!" You whined and nudged him with your leg.
"See."
"But I want to ride you."
Jungkook growled in response and lifted you from the table. Despite his smugness and words, Jungkook was hard and wanting nothing more than feel your tightness around his cock. He brought you to his room and threw you without a single thought on his bed. You bounced on the bed, giggling while Jungkook took the last pieces of clothes that were still on him. Once undressed you grabbed his arm and pulled him on the bed, making him fall beside you and you took the chance to straddle him, grinding yourself against him, making him groan. You had your hands on his chest for support before positioning yourself and slowly sinking down on him with your eyes closed. Both of you groaned at the sensation, your walls clenching around his length, the stretch burning deliciously. You stayed still for a moment, absolutely enjoying the fullness.
Jungkook was the one to urge you to move by bucking his hips. You bit on your lips but complied. Raising yourself before slamming back, setting your own pace. You rode him, your breasts bouncing with every move. Jungkook held you by your hips, helping you, meeting your hips half way and you felt him deeper inside you, reaching for all the right spots. Every thrust sent waves of pleasure, your walls clenching around him.
"Shit, baby, you feel so good." Jungkook groaned and thrusted harder making you cry out his name in return and throw your head back in pure bliss. "You're so tight, god."
Jungkook growled as you unconsciously clenched one more time around him, his growl sounding so damn animalistic you swore it was the sexiest thing you had ever heard. But then, he flipped you over, he grabbed your legs and thrusted back inside you, pounding harder and stronger than ever and you held his arms, digging your nails, scratching him. Tears pricking at the corner of your eyes, you arched your back in delight, your release was so close and you could feel how strong, how powerful, how shattering it would be.
"Jungkook, fuck, please." You begged but you weren't sure whether you wanted him to go harder or help you out with your orgasm that was just so close and yet.
"Hmm, need to do better than that, babe." He smirked and you felt him slowing down and pulling half way from you, making you wiggle under him in protest.
"Please, please, please. Jungkook, please." You begged and Jungkook slammed back, his cock hitting deeper with every thrust. He slid his hand in between your bodies and rubbed your clit in circles mercilessly.
Your thighs were jerking, your senses overwhelmed; you closed your eyes as fire pooled low in your abdomen before exploding, a shockwave that had you screaming his name. Jungkook kept pounding into you through your orgasm, seeking for his own release that came right after with a deep growl.
Jungkook collapsed on top of you and you hugged him tightly against you.
-Now-
Abruptly, you freed yourself from his grip and took a step back, your legs shaking under his gaze. There weren’t many things that terrified you but the idea of Jungkook finding out about that night was definitely on the list.
“I need to go.” Your voice cracked and you cursed yourself for feeling so weak. You didn’t let him time to recover or to stop you. You ran away without looking back. Without seeing Jungkook’s gaze following you. Without seeing how slowly a genuine and proud smile spread on his face.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
Hana [4:15pm] : So what if he knows? You became quite closed and it’s obvious he likes flirting with you.
You [4:15pm] : I don’t want him to flirt with me.
Jimin [4:15pm] : Now that’s a lie and we all know that.
You [4:16pm] : Fine. I do like him flirting with me but I think I want more and I don’t think it’s something Jungkook can give me.
Jimin [4:18pm]: You wouldn’t know that Y/N. Yes Jungkook sleeps around, I can’t deny that but he’s a nice guy and despite what you think he can get serious too.
At Jimin’s message you groaned, ready to throw your phone away just so he couldn’t add something unnecessary, something that would get your hopes up. Jimin was being a nice friend, you knew it, but you were a stubborn little fellow and you never listened.
Jimin [4:25pm] Honestly Y/N, does it really matter that he remembers?
You [4:25pm] : YES. It’s damn embarrassing!
Jimin [4:26]: 🤦🏼♀️
Jimin [4:26pm]: Don’t you remember that day what he said about the girl?
You [4:27pm]: Get lost Park Jimin!
Hana [4:27pm] : I agree with Jimin!
You [4:28pm]: Of course you do.
Jimin [4:29pm] : Fuck it. I’m done playing nice.
Your eyes widened in shock at his words. A storm was coming and you could only brace yourself for his next message that would probably leave you bitter and regretful.
Jimin [4:31pm]: Y/N, how old are you? Stop being a child. You both are adults. Talk to him, I’m sure he will surprise you. If not, then get over it. Move on but stop acting like a damn teenager.
❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
To your not so biggest surprised, Jimin didn’t go straight home after classes. It was past nine in the evening and you kept glancing at your phone, expecting a message or any reaction from him. Nothing came. Jimin was undoubtedly upset with you and when Jimin was upset, it was for the best for him to stay away from people. You bit on your lips, fighting the urge to call him and apologize and tell him to come home.
When the doorbell rang you jumped from the couch, too fast, feeling dizzy for a second. You were in such hurry, in hope, that you didn’t even think for a second that Jimin had his keys and had no reason to rang at the door. You realized it too late when you opened the door and were face to face with none other than Jeon Jungkook.
Your first reflex was to stop breathing. Then, when your brain fully registered that yes Jungkook was really standing before you, you tried to close the door just as fast as you had opened it. You were fast. Jungkook was faster. He blocked the door with his feet, wincing at the strength you had put, before pushing the door with his hand.
“Don’t be like that, Y/N.” He pleaded, his voice soft and low.
For a second, you were tempted to yell at him and tell him to leave but then Jimin’s words echoed in your head, making you close your eyes and took a deep breath. Reluctantly, you moved to the side and let him in. And he did, his arm brushing yours, making you bite your lips, trying hard to ignore how your heart had skipped a beat. You closed the door behind him and led the way.
It felt awkward. Scratch that, you felt awkward being alone in the same room as Jungkook. You looked at everything except at him. Maybe you were scared to see how he looked at you. Maybe you were scared to let your walls down. But Jungkook saw through you.
“Is it that hard to look at me?”
Just because of your damn ego, you raised your head to look at him, trying not to waver under his adorable smile. Yes, it was hard to look at him, especially when he looked so natural, so soft, so different to the image of him you used to have.
“See? It’s not that hard.”
“What are you doing here, Jungkook?” You finally asked, unable to hide your curiosity.
“I’m glad it was you.” He said instead of answering to your question. It took you off guard, not only his words but his sincerity too. Jungkook didn’t want to talk about that night, he wasn’t dense or stupid not to notice how uncomfortable you were, but he wanted you to know how he felt.
“Does it change something?” Without you realizing it, your voice was filled with hope.
Jungkook took a step closer to you and you almost felt the itch to take a step back, but something held you back and Jungkook took it as a sign that he could get closer. Your breath hitched in your throat, you looked at him in hope and your heart pounding in your chest, roaring in your ears. The waiting, despite it being only seconds, were almost unbearable.
Jungkook, however, always managed to surprise you. His hand reached for your face, thumb stroking gently your skin and the look in his eyes made you melt into puddle right on the spot. “Depends.” He took another step, your body brushing, his warmth embracing you. If only Jungkook knew he had you wrapped around his finger. He could probably ask you anything and at this point you would say yes without questioning.
“Depends on what?” You managed to whisper.
“What do you want from me, Y/N?” And he leaned closer, his lips so damn close to yours, his warm breath ghosting over your lips and yet never touching.
You wanted to be greedy. You wanted to let go. So instead of answering him, you grabbed him by his neck and smashed your lips against his into a bruising, needy, passionate kiss. Jungkook chuckled into the kiss, his arm slipped around you and pressed your body so there would be no more space left between you two, lifting you slightly from the floor as he kissed you back with just as much eagerness.
"Win the competition and we might work it out."

An AC Valhalla Post!
I bought it on a whim, desperate to have something to do in these jobless months, and here are my lengthy thoughts (spolier-free) accompanied by pics under the cut, and if you have questions about the game or you’d like to comment it I’d be glad to know what you think about it!!!
1. F!Eivor is fantastic. I was worried at first, because I really missed Kassandra (who will always be best babe), and Eivor didn’t click, but by and by she grew on me and now I love her. She is tough. I mean, yes, I know that she is a viching and that I shouldn’t be surprised by it, but you have no idea how tough she is. And she’s also incredibly good-looking, as you all can see. And, at times, incredibly kind... ehrm, maybe not when she behedeas her enemies while screaming, but anyway.
2. The graphics are amazing. The environmental ones in particular. The water, the fields, the meadows, the snow, the light of the setting and the rising sun. I pass half of the game commenting to myself: “No way, have you seen this meadow?” Yes, I am particularly fond of meadows. I remember being in love with Odissey’s environment too, but this is new. I really can’t say if the characters’ graphics have improved... there are some cutscenes where they look amazing (the npcs look somewhat with melted faces), especially the fighting ones. They are really impressive.
3. Exploration and Combat system: there is ALOT to explore. Like, a lot. And there are several environmental riddles to solve. Which is nice. The secondary quests are really funny and not too long, and sometimes (this is very important) they allow you to bring back to your camp some pet-friends. A nice thing is that the armor pieces and the weapons are not so many, you can only acquire them as treasures (you can see that golden icon in the picture above), so your inventory will always be quite clean and you’ll not be loaded with useless things (which, on the other hand, you could sell in the other game and become rich). The thing that worries me is that I’ve already found a very strong armour and I’ll be stuck with it for the rest of the game, so I won’t be able to play Eivor-fashion-model. Damn. The combat system is good, very interactive and fun (the raids are my favourite thing), though my Eivor seems somehow stiff and sometimes not very responsive (probably cause she carries too much weight or cause she is low on stamina, idk).
4. Other things: the game is really buggy, I actually had to restart it because the main quest didn’t appear anymore on the map (it has been horrible). The talent-tree is very confusing and only after 40hrs of gameplay I’ve started to understand how to use it (special abilities are acquired as treasures as well, and I find it really clever). The romances up until now (I haven’t finished the game it yet) don’t seem so well-developed as I hoped, but maybe the game will prove me wrong the more I go on. I hope that something like the Kassandra-Kyra story will come up and charm me. The plot is quite engaging (look, I lost track of the present timeline and I don’t care about it, honestly, while the game has a whole sublot in a whole different world which is really impressive and that I won’t spoiler here). I love the fact that you have your own settlement and you can improve it the more you acquire resources. There is also a dice game inside the game called Orlog that I adore! I spent half hours playing Orlog only. Eivor constantly gets high on mushrooms. It’s hilarious. You can pet dogs and cats.
All in all I dare say that it was money well spent, and since I usually wait a lot for the prices to drop, I’m happy that I can say that. I’ve spent the last week addicted to the game and I guess that I will be so at least for the next month. Imagine my (forever alone, as I renamed her) Eivor, standing still on a hill, enraptured by the meadows and by the rays of the sun, when suddenly a pack of wolves attacks her and I’m dead before I know it. :)

random thoughts I have about Creek in High School that I think about a lot
~ kind of a request ~
- These two dorks have known each other for so many years, and have spent an insane amount of time together, so just imagine all the terrible, dry inside jokes they’ve established over the years?
- So many dumb space and coffee puns, and at times someone around them just have to say one specific word for them to look at each other and laugh their asses off, and if people try to ask them about it, they’ll just shrug it off and be like “you wouldn’t get it” and it drives their friends insaaane
- Them slightly roasting each other a lot, and sometimes people legit thinks they’re fighting, but it’s just like a type of flirty banter they never really grew out of?
- Like yeah, they may roast each other hard, but if anyone else tries even a little bit the other one will shut it down so hard
- Sometimes their little jokey banter goes a little too far, and it ends with either sulking and pouting, pretending not to be bothered but low-key is pissed af (Craig), or just gasps and snarky passive aggressive comments (Tweek)
- They’re both a little stubborn, but neither can stand fighting and not talking for very long, and things are usually solved with self-deprecating jokes by the culprit, or some good old make-up se- ehrm, kisses, yanno
- Tweek dresses in a very... unique way, and it either turns out really cool and fashionable looking, or just absolutely whack and crazy
- Think like, Craig’s hoodie, some old t-shirt with a bright graphic print (probably something holographic with aliens), gym shorts, and a pair of tights underneath, one fingerless glove on one hand and a mitten on the other, finished off with converse with no socks, in the middle of winter, with snow
- Craig is very attached to Tweek’s smell lmao, like, if they don’t sleep in the same bed he always keeps a sweater or. t-shirt or something near his pillow, but his absolute favorite is how Tweek’s hair smells. Yes, it’s weird.
- Tweek is really into all sort of True Crime and unsolved cases, and can really get far into these types of cases, Craig tries to watch stuff with him and listen, but he’s secretly pretty squeamish about things like that, it just unnerves him in some way
- They are both food stealers, or actually, they just have an unspoken rule that all their food is shareable to some degree, even tho some sneaking may be involved at times

Girl, I saw your post and I wanna talk! I’m asexual, (and aromantic) and you have no clue how many dumb things people have assumed of me. ‘You’ll want to date/have sex eventually.’ ‘You’re just saying it to avoid the question.’ ‘That’s not even a thing.’ Like... what? I thought my family and friends would be supportive, but they don’t seem to think I’m being serious. It’s frustrating! What do you think bb? 🥺
I think in this case, and most others where people get judgey, people can't see beyond their own experiences and wants and needs. I have always promised to be honest with myself, about myself. Many people are afraid to do that.
Me, personally, I would love to ask you so many dumb weird questions just because I'm excited that you have a different lense than I do to view the world!
Case in point - I am a very sexual person. Lol, not like I want to fuck everybody or anything. I love the bodies of men and women. I enjoy the idea of two beings giving eachother pleasure. I have been lucky enough to experience physical love with another who cherishes me and worships me, and we just connect in a way that many people won't experience. Now, sex for me is very heavily tied in with emotional attachment. For me, if there is no emotional attachment, I'm not really interested in engaging because It won't be as pleasurable to me. The emotions drive my desires and passion. So without the emotion, I am about as excited over a person as I am over ... idk... let's say beets... getting my car washed... finding my favorite toilet paper on sale... meh
You, sweet little doll baby; we've had brief discussions about your asexulaity. Dude, ITS FINE IF YOU ARE NOT HOT TO TROT!!! Don't ever ever ever hand out your body (or your heart for that matter) if you don't absolutely want to! Most people say that you'll change your mind, because THEy want to date, have sex, etc and can't understand how you don't feel the same way they do. I read a thing once about how such behaviors are something we humans developed when we first settled in to villages so many many moons ago. If another being behaved the same as you do, dressed, ate, spoke, ... ehrm... mated... they they were safe, one of your circle. If they were different then they were an outsider and were to be shunned or were worthy of suspicion. People who are "different" make the average Joe uncomfortable because it might cause him/her to see something in themselves that they don't understand or doesn't quite fit with cultural "norms". The fear of being ostracized or punished by society for our differences is deeply ingrained in so many, and it takes a truly brave soul to exist outside of these norms. You can see how that has carried on through history, and we as humans have repeated this "us v. them" mentality so many times, with other cultures, religions, sexualities, languages, physical characteristics, etc. It is the uneasiness that comes from the unknown, and the unfamiliar. It stresses us out. A personal favorite quote I saw on a FB page I follow, (Viking heritage esque) says "Everybody wants to be a heathen until its time to do heathen shit". Going against the majority is scary.
Now, I feel the truest sign of intelligence in humans is not necessarily the IQ or the wealth of knowledge gained by study, but is actually displayed in someone having the ability to disassociate themselves and their inner thoughts and preferences from the situation. (I wonder... maybe this is dumb... would the people that doubt you also say to a gay person "you'll change your mind"? But I digress)
At the end of the day, it all boils down to respect in your fellow human. Your choices are yours. No one, even family, has any right to deny who you are, be it a choice or a genetic predisposition that you have. As long as you have found things in your life that make you happy and fulfilled, you don't have to live the same way as me! We will be good friends regsrdless. I wonder.... the next time somebody tells you how you'll feel eventually or comments on your lack of sexual relationships, can you ask "why is this so important to you?". Im curious about the answer.
Until then chickadee, own who you are. It makes you wonderful and unique! Consider how uncluttered our view of others could be if peen and pus pus weren't constantly in the middle of our thoughts? You'll have to share your view of the world more often. It will make us all richer.
Lol, I've waxed philosophical for a while here. I hope this makes sense, mostly I want you to know that this silly bitch on the other end of the tumblr screen accepts you as you are and enjoys you for it!! 😘❤

City nights
Genre: Fluff Words: 2.693 Prompt: What are you waiting for?, What are you doing tonight? For anon
It was still early in your nightshift when you regretted agreeing to trading shifts with one of your colleagues. A drunk man had come into the little café you worked at and had refused to leave until a police man had to come in to force him out. Shortly after that a bunch of hormonal teenagers tried to flirt with you to get your number for 20 minutes straight. And right now a hipster had ordered the weirdest and most complicated latte you had ever made. But luckily he’d die of diabetes soon, judging by the amount of syrup you had to put in it (but just a ¾ pump of the caramel one and 1 ½ of the chocolate one). Placing it in front of him, he paid it without a word of thanks.
Now officially pissed off, you took a sip from your own iced Americano and turned back to the textbook you had brought with you to make use of the time when no customers came in. Lost in a chapter of biochemistry you didn’t hear the bell over the door when a man entered the café. When he cleared his throat, you almost dropped your book and fell from the counter you had sat on.
Mumbling an apology you rushed to the register to take his order. “Interesting lecture?” He asked instead with a very deep, raspy voice. Blushing you bowed your head in another apology. “Just something for university, what would you like to order sir?”
“So you are a university student?” He asked whilst studying the menu through his round glasses. Somehow they didn’t quite fit with the rest of his look. His hair was bleached blond and a little metal bar was peeking through where his fringe was covering part of his eyebrow. His fingers with nails painted black were fidgeting with the phone in his hand below the long sleeves of his black sweater.
“Yeah, biochemistry major or at least I’m trying,” you answered his question when he kept quiet, “The iced mocha I make is pretty good.” He looked down from the menu and raised a pierced eyebrow at you. “Is that so?” “So I have been told.” “Then I’ll have that but with a double shot please.” “For take way?” “Nah, I’ll stay. It’s cute here,” he winked at you.
Flustered you put his order in the register. “Anything else?” “Nah, I’m good for now”, the man answered while he handed over his card. “I’ll bring it over once I’m done,” you smiled at him and got to work.
Nodding in acknowledgment he walked away from the counter which gave you a great opportunity to look at his backside which was clad in tight leather pants. Who even wore leather plants apart from idols? Shaking your head you prepared his drink; he was the first normal customer tonight and even knew how to be polite when making extra wishes.
Walking over to where he had sat down in a corner table with two large armchairs, you placed his mocha in front of him. “There you go, sir.” “I’m Changkyun, no need to call me sir. I’m pretty sure you are older than me anyways,” he introduced himself, looking up from his phone. “I was just being polite,” you tried to justify yourself as you walked back to the counter. “Don’t wanna hear my judgment for that mocha that allegedly is ‘pretty good’?” Changkyun called after you.
Usually you wouldn’t show interest in the opinion of any customer but somehow this man was an exception. Stirring his beverage with the straw he grinned up at you. “What’s your name now that you know mine?” Staying silent you just pointed to your name tag on your apron where it clearly said your name. Well, at least he didn’t stare at your boobs.
“Cute.” Changkyun just commented before he put his lips around the straw and took a sip. “It’s good,” he acknowledged. “You sound surprised,” you grinned, the compliment pushing your self-confidence. “I usually don’t go for sweet drinks but this is nice. Why don’t you sit down and tell me more about you?” “I’m really happy that you like it, but I kinda have to stand behind the counter over there and wait for customers to come in, soooo.” You turned around to walk back even though you wouldn’t mind to talk to him for a while. His voice was very nice and soothing and he seemed interesting.
“What are you doing tonight?” Changkyun asked and you could have sworn his voice dropped another octave lower. Biting your lip before turning around, you simply answered: “I have to close up in an hour.” And went back behind the counter.
~
Changkyun had been sitting in the chair looking at his phone and occasionally shooting a glance at you until you locked the front door and switched the sign to ‘closed’. “You need any help?” He asked when he came over to the counter and placed his empty glass down. You shook your head, taking the glass to the back. “Just don’t touch anything until I’m back.”
Hurrying to the lockers you quickly changed and fixed your hair. Your heart was beating faster than it should have. He was just a random dude who showed up on your shift and flirted with you. A good looking dude with a nice voice. Grabbing your bag, you went back to the front where Changkyun was skipping through pages of your book. “Sounds interesting,” he shut it and handed it over to you. Shrugging you accepted the book and stuffed it into your bag. “Are you a university student as well?” You asked, stepping out into the night and locking the door.
“No, I actually dropped out of high school,” the blonde confessed while pulling a black mask out of his pocket and putting it on. “Oh, why’s that?” He didn’t seem like a high school dropout. “Ehrm,” he stuttered, scratching the back of his neck, “Doesn’t really matter, does it?”
Shrugging you turned to head out onto the main street around the corner. “I was just curious. What are you doing for a living then?” Realizing he hadn’t been following you, but actually turned to walk the other direction into a small alley, you stopped and raised an eyebrow in question.
“Wanna go on an adventure?” Changkyun asked with his deep voice, extending a hand towards you. Insecure you stepped towards him. “What are you waiting for?” he laughed and took your hand in his before he pulled you after him.
Your heart was beating furiously in your chest. What had gotten into you? He was a complete stranger who just happened to step into your café. But you felt strangely safe with him. It was exciting to basically go on a late night date with him.
Changkyun seemed to know his way around the small streets around here, always dodging the bigger streets but choosing smaller alleys with less people.
“Where are we going?” You asked after a while. “It’s a surprise, baby,” was his cryptic answer. You insides turned at the pet name and the way it rolled off his tongue. Was he one of these Korean-American boys your mother had warned you about? Those who made you fall hard and fast for them to then leave you and break your heart? Shaking your head, you dismissed the thought. You weren’t falling for a stranger.
Suddenly Changkyun pulled you closer when you stepped out on a busier street. “Keep your head down,” he whispered as he pulled you along, letting his long fringe fall into his eyes, basically hiding between you and the fronts of closed up shops. “What’s that about?” You asked confused.
He chose to not answer. Was he some kind of criminal wanted by the police? Was that why he hadn’t told you what he was doing for a living? Maybe he was one of those people who worked for the mafia after dropping out of school. Startled by that thought you hissed under your breath: “Please tell me that you are not some kind of drug dealer who’s in trouble with the police.”
Halting he looked at you in confusion from below his fringe before he burst out a laughter which was way higher than his speaking voice would suggest. “It’s not funny, I’m being serious,” you scolded him, snatching your hand from his grip and slapping his arm. Body still shaking with laughter, Changkyun shook his head. “No, I’m not in trouble with the law in any kind.” He offered his hand again. “Come on, people are staring.” “Because you laughed like a maniac in the middle of the street,” you pouted and laced your fingers with him again, a soft blush covering your cheeks.
“Let’s just say I just don’t like to catch people’s attention,” he offered as an excuse when he pulled you along again, his steps faster than before. “Then you chose the wrong hair colour,” you pointed out. He snorted before flashing you puppy eyes. “But it looks good on me, doesn’t it?” Shoving him, you looked away, feeling how heat crept up your neck and ears turning red. It did suit him but you weren’t going to tell him.
“You still not gonna tell me where you are actually taking me?” You asked instead. “We are almost there,” he gestured at a sign leading to a park nearby. “That park is most likely closed though.” “I know my ways, babe.” Changkyun winked at you. “Not in trouble with the law in any kind my ass,” you muttered.
Giggling Changkyun lead you to the main entrance of the park which indeed was closed. “Do you trust me?” He asked, mischief glistening in his eyes. “I know you for a whole two hours maybe,” you answered truthful. “Yet you chose the come with me instead of going home.”
Not letting you protest, he tugged at your hand and pulled you into the bushes surrounding the gate. “There’s a gap in the fence somewhere,” he murmured, scanning the area. “How do you know such things?” You asked in confusion when he indeed found a gap that was just big enough to squeeze through. “I know a lot of things,” the blonde answered cryptic and wiggled his eyebrows. “After you, ma’am.”
When you both had crawled out of the bushes on the other side of the fence, Changkyun took off his face mask again and reached for your hand. He lead you through the dark park to a bench by a pond where he sat down, draping his leather clad legs over the seat and stretching his body out. You swear you could hear a bunch of joints cracking. You grimaced. “What do you do to make that many joints pop?”
He just grinned and fully laid down on the bench to make his back pop as well, letting out a satisfied sigh. That was hands down the sexiest sound you had ever heard. “Guess,” he dared you, raising his legs effortless while still lying down to make space for you to sit.
After sitting down you thought about what he had told you already about himself. He couldn’t really work a desk job since he was a high school dropout. “Some kind of craftsman?” Laughing he shook his head. It didn’t really fit him anyways, he seemed to be more of the edgy, artist type. “Something artistic?” “Kind of, yeah.” You thought for a while and placed your hands on his thighs. They were surprisingly muscular. “You work out a lot?” “Every now and then, it’s kinda part of my job,” he admitted while flexing the muscles beneath your fingers. “A dancer?” That would also kind of explain why he way avoiding people on the streets. “Well, not really. But I do dance,” he acknowledged while lifting himself up only to turn himself around and place his head in your lap.
Grinning up at your blushing face, he stuck out his tongue. “Keep guessing, you are getting closer.” Not knowing where to put your hands, you started stroking his surprisingly soft strands which earned you a sound close to a purr from deep inside his chest. “So not a dancer but rather some kind of performer?” He just made an affirmative sound and closed his eyes, clearly enjoying the way you played with his hair. “In a show of some sorts?” “Sometimes, yes”, he giggled, “You really don’t know who I am?” “How should I? You literally came into the café, ordered a drink and then decided to kidnap me,” you pouted, crossing your arms in front of your chest like a child. Opening his eyes again, he grinned at you and pressed a quick kiss to your cheek which reddened in reaction. “Cute,” he stated.
Suddenly the sound of a loud song interrupted the quiet night and startled the two of you, the song way strangely familiar. “Shit,” Changkyun cursed and fumbled to get his phone out and pick up the call. The person calling was obviously worried about where he was. You couldn’t make out works but the other person was clearly screaming while he tried to play it off by telling them he’d be home later tonight and that he wasn’t at his studio but decided to go out. He ended the call with an annoyed: “See you later, eomma.”
“Your mum still calls you to find out where you are?” You ask him mockingly. “Well, technically he isn’t my mum, but he sure as hell acts like he is,” Changkyun tried to explain. “Roommate?” “Yeah, also that.”
Deciding to drop the matter because Changkyun wasn’t giving you answers anyways, you asked instead: “Your ringtone seems weirdly familiar, what song was it?” A grin spread across his face. “It’s pretty old, from a group called Monsta X.” And then he suddenly started rapping parts of the song and your jaw dropped.
“Oh my god, you are kidding me,” you gasped, the man was none other than Im Changkyun, lead rapper from Monsta X, an actual idol. His grin only spread wider. “Nope, I am what I am,” he said his catch phrase in English. “I feel so stupid right now,” you confessed. How did you not realize it? You had even wondered who even wore leather pants beside idols.
“Does it change anything now that you know?” He seemed weirdly insecure, fiddling with the sleeves of his shirt. “I mean I still don’t know anything about you besides your job and your coffee preferences.” He grinned happily and laid his head back down to your lap.
“Well, my favourite colour is white, I’m left handed, I can lick my nose, my blood type is 0, I don’t particularly like spicy food and I usually don’t kiss on the first date.” “You can lick your nose?” “That’s what you took from all of that?” Changkyun looked at you with wide eyes and sat up; looking like you had betrayed him. Hiding your smile behind your hands, you asked him to proof it.
Sighing he massaged his temples before he looked up again and indeed connected his tongue to the tip of his nose. Still giggling you scooted closer to him. “Is there something else you can do with that tongue?” You asked, trying to sound suggestive. “Well, I can also touch my elbow with it,” heanswered, voice flat.
Leaning in, you whispered: “Not what I meant, Changkyun.” His eyes went wide again and he shook his head in disbelief. “So you did take something else away from that.”
Nodding you closed the last centimetres between you two and gently connected your lips with his. When you broke the kiss, you looked deep into his eyes, losing yourself in the darkness of them. You wanted to know more about him, discover everything he hid behind those dark orbs.
Gently cupping your face between his hands, Changkyun kissed you again. “You wanna be my little secret?” He whispered between lingering kisses. Humming in agreement, you brought your arms around his neck and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss.

Date: February 18, 1982 Location: Potter Estate, Healer’s Quarters
open - max two replies please!
“Oh, shit!” Benjy might’ve realized that this wasn’t what a person wanted to hear from their healer’s lips, had he not been focusing so much on the now gaping wound in the “patient’s” arm. What had been a small cut had now grown, thanks to the last - wrong - spell he’d performed. “Don’t worry!” He said quickly, too frantic for a calm healer that wasn’t worrying. “I can fix this! I know how!”
He turned to the cabinet where Emmeline housed their healing supplies, in search for the various forms of dittany. They were organized precisely, thanks to the older (actual) healer, with all the dittanys lined up on the second row.
Benjy’s fingers hovered over the blue bottle. Wait, no - that was for more general injuries, right? Or was that the green top? There was the red one, too, but he was fairly certain that was spell damage wounds. He hesitated for a moment before switching to the green topper, grabbing it up and uncorking it. He turned back to the patient, who was now bleeding fairly heavily from their arm. “Ehrm...” He pulled a handkerchief from the small box of them on the table. “You might wanna bite down on this. I promise it’s clean! Emme just uses them to sop things up - says it works better than rags... not that this one sopped anything up recently. Or ever! It just might help. Okay, here I go!”
Without comment, he poured the green-topped dittany onto the wound he’d accidentally created. For a second, it smoked and Benjy’s heart dropped - he should’ve used the blue bottle! - but then the wound closed up nicely, knitting the skin back together. He sighed a breath of relief and raised his wand. “I can clean up the mess... unless you’d rather...?”

What Heroes Do
(a "Ground Zero Rescues Izuku from the Sludge Villain" AU)
Read this on AO3 Inspired by this post
Midoriya Izuku was trudging home from school, alone. This wasn't new to him. After all, Izuku had no friends in his middle school. He hadn't even had friends in elementary school. Not since everyone else started developing their quirks, and Izuku just… didn't. People weren't born equal. Some were born with great power, and with it, great responsibility. Others were born with no power, left to scrape by amidst the unnecessary cruelty of their peers. Izuku was a good student - top of his class, quiet, diligent, and kind to everyone. He loved heroes, and despite knowing that it was basically impossible to become a hero without a quirk, oh, he wanted to be a hero more than anything. Just that morning he’d been able to watch a showdown between a villain and some amazing heroes! He’d taken a lot of notes. Notes that had been mostly ruined when his notebook had been thrown in the pond by his classmates. They hadn't hurt him, this time. Well, not physically, though he still felt stung by the way the whole class had laughed when he’d declared his intent to apply to UA for high school. He wished that it had never been brought up. He sighed heavily, scuffing his shoes on the ground as he approached a dark tunnel. Just like my mood, Izuku thought glumly, before shaking those thoughts away. Who cares what they say? I gotta keep my chin up, he decided. Keep moving forward!
Lost in thought, he paid no mind to the filthy sound from behind him, until he heard a thick, soupy voice slur, “Aha, a medium-sized disguise…”
Startled, Izuku glanced back over his shoulder, spying a gloppy, slimy thing oozing up through the holes in a nearby manhole cover. The thing was towering over him, it's crazed eyes filled with malice, it's toothy sneer sunk in an oozing, filthy orifice.
Izuku stumbled, turning to run, but he was too late, too slow, too useless . With a swirl of foul-smelling glop, the horrible creature wrapped itself around him, surrounding him like a living pit of quicksand, binding his limbs and coating him with its viscous ooze. A villain?! Izuku thought frantically, and that was all he had time to think before the slime villain had covered his nose and mouth, forcing past his lips and down his throat. He tried to scream, but everything was muffled by the crushing force of the slime villain forcing itself down his throat.
“It’s all right,” the villain purred, “I’m only taking over your body, calm down. It’ll only hurt for 45 seconds, then it’ll all be over…”
Izuku tried to cry out, even as the creature dragged him into the tunnel, where no one could see him struggle. His throat burned where the muddy sludge poured into him as his heart pounded painfully in his chest. You have to save me, he thought, struggling uselessly against the creature, did no one expect this, this thing to come this way? As panic began to set in at the realization that no hero was coming to save him, he clawed futilely at the slime monster, who just laughed.
“You can't grab hold of me, I’m made of liquid!” the thing cackled viciously, enjoying the way Misoriya twisted and flailed, eyes wide and rolling with panic.
Oh god, Izuku thought, I can't breathe! I can't… oh god, I can't even fight back, I’m so tired… He felt his knees wobble, and he dropped his notebook, the one he'd been holding all along, the one he’d fished out of the pond… all for nothing. He was going to die here. I’m going to die, he thought, and then, Am I really going to die like this? Black spots were swimming in his vision now and he was so tired. Someone! I’m dying! His gaze landed on his notebook, which had fallen open to his costume design. I don't want to die… he thought resignedly, please…
Suddenly, an explosion rocked the street and the manhole cover went flying nearly fifty feet into the air. Izuku’s vision was growing blurry, but he saw plain as day an imposing figure with pale hair hair pointed in every direction, a dark mask across his face, grenade-styled gauntlets on his arms. The hero rose from the depths like an avenging angel, broad shoulders rippling as he pulled himself up out of the manhole and stood, the very picture of fury, pointing a finger at Izuku and snarling. “I found you, you piece of shit!” The hero pulled his hand back, making a fist, and laying a hand on his grenade gauntlet before stopping, his eyes bulging with surprise. “Shit!” he cursed again, “He got a kid?” then, “Hey kid, you still alive?”
Izuku couldn't breathe, couldn't move, but he blinked a lot.
“Shi- shoot, so any big explosions are out,” the hero grumbled under his breath before turning back to Izuku. “This might burn a little,” he warned, and then Izuku couldn't hear anything else but a high-pitched whine. He saw a white-hot flash, and felt searing heat on his face. He felt the slime creature being peeled away by the force of the blast and as the slime pulled away he fell to his hands and knees, coughing and choking and gasping for much-needed air. Dimly he could see Ground Zero - for that was the name of the hero who’d saved him - just destroying the villain until he was reduced to the size of a pet bottle. Ground Zero sealed him in the bottle and stared at a moment before muttering, “Huh. Guess I owe Red Riot twenty bucks now.” Then the explosive hero turned to look at Izuku, who scrambled unsteadily to his feet.
He wasn't sure whether to cry, gush, or just fall on his knees in adulation. Izuku settled for his usual reaction to high-stress situations, which was to start rambling helplessly. “Oh my god!” the curly-haired boy gasped, “You're the celebrated rookie hero, Ground Zero!” he beamed excitedly, his heart pounding wildly. He was alive! And he was meeting an amazing hero! If he were being honest with himself, he'd never really expected anything that exciting to happen to him in his entire life. “You’ve been climbing the ranks faster than anyone could have predicted! The brash hero with a terrible attitude and a 100% success rate! They say you’ll even surpass Endeavor one day!” Izuku took a breath to continue, but was interrupted by the hero, who folded his massive arms over a sculpted chest.
“I’ll fuc- fudging surpass All Might too, just you watch,” Ground Zero told him with a glower. “None of this second best business for me.”
Izuku frowned. “You can't surpass the symbol of peace,” he told Ground Zero solemnly, surprised that the hero hadn't realized this. No one could surpass All Might!
Ground Zero sputtered for a moment, then scowled at Izuku, “The fu-fudge kinda ungrateful nerd are you?”
Izuku blinked. “I’m sorry…?” he could feel his stomach twisting into knots already. “It's just that All Might is so amazing, and you're amazing too, I guess, but he's All Might, and I - don't touch that! ” he yelped as Ground Zero swooped down, picking up his ruined notebook.
“Jeez, kid, what did you do to this thing?” the pro hero asked absently, scarlet eyes darting back and forth as he flicked through the pages.
Izuku felt mortified. “I, I didn't do anything,” he protested weakly.
“Hmm,” Ground Zero commented noncommittally, before glancing up at Izuku and shaking his head. “Fuuu- fudge, kid, you are obsessed.” He closed the notebook, and eyed the cover. “Hero Analysis for the Future - number thirteen? Dam - ehrm - darn! You’ve put a lot of work into this, kid. I’m impressed.” He handed it back with a smirk, but it wasn't a mean-spirited smirk. “You applying to UA?” he asked.
Dumbfounded, Izuku nodded. Ground Zero thought my hero notebook was impressive! I can't believe it!
“It's a good school,” Ground Zero said, white teeth flashing into a predatory smile. “I was their best student.”
Somehow, Izuku doubted that was the case, but it felt rude to say as much, so he just nodded again.
Ground Zero preened, then, with a small frown of confusion, he broke the dreaded question. “So what’s your quirk, kid?”
Izuku felt his face begin to burn. “I, uh. I don't have a quirk.” He couldn't look Ground Zero in the eye.
“Huh.”
That wasn't the reaction Izuku had expected, so he looked up, surprised.
“There's lots of ways to be a hero…” Ground Zero began, then stopped. “Fuck it. I mean - shit, Fudge - I mean shoot! Goddammit. I mean goshdarn-”
“Kids swear in school all the time,” Izuku told Ground Zero. “I’ve heard worse, trust me.”
“Ah, thank fuck,” Ground Zero exploded. He crouched down so that he and Izuku were eye-to-eye. “Here’s the thing, kid. Without a quirk, you're fucked. Hell, even with a quirk. This job fucks with you on so many levels. It's great and shit, but it sucks ass too.” He shrugged. “You're shit outta luck without a quirk, and that's frankly a goddamn waste because you have a lot of knowledge and good instincts if that book of yours is any indication.” He stood up again, towering over him at full height. “I hate saying this, especially to kids, but… No, it’s never going to happen, you don't have what it takes, find a fulfilling job you’d actually be fucking good at.”
Izuku winced. That want at all what he’d wanted to hear. “Are you sure someone without a quirk has no chance-?”
“Fuckin’ most of the population doesn't have what it takes,” Ground Zero growled. “Get over yourself.” He turned to walk away, then paused. “Good luck, kid.” And then he jumped up, blasting off with his quirk to propel himself upwards like a human jetpack. Izuku watched him go, feeling as if he’d won the lottery and been bankrupted all within the span of five minutes.
With a sigh, he tucked his notebook under his arm and continued the long trek home. He knew he shouldn't have applied to UA, but he had to. What other choice did he have? He knew he couldn't be anything else. He needed to be a hero! He had to be! He felt something wet trickle down his cheek and he swiped at it curiously before realizing with a start that he’d begun to cry.
God, he was pathetic. Ground Zero was right, he didn't have what it took to be a hero. But dammit, he was going to try anyway! Because that, well...
That’s what heroes do. And no matter what anyone said, Izuku was going to be a hero someday.

This Boy - Chapter 32
~Paul's~
I woke up with a blistering headache. I had drank way too much the night before, trying to numb my stupid feelings. I walked down to the sitting room, noticing that Gin and Mike were still away. I hadn't expected them to be away for more than a night, but perhaps they had changed their minds. I looked into the kitchen and noticed two empty bottles of whiskey on the table. I rolled my eyes at myself and flopped down on the couch beside the phone, and dialled John.
"Hello?" Mimi answered the phone with her posh, polite voice. "Good morning, Mimi. It's Paul, is John 'round?" I asked. "Good afternoon, Paul." She corrected me, I glanced at the clock and realized it was definitely no longer morning. "My apologies, I have been asleep all day. But, is John there?" I asked again, feeling rather anxious to hear his voice. "You've missed him. He left a few hours ago to go see your little friend George, you can reach him there." Mimi informed me, leaving my heart sinking in my chest. "Thanks Mimi, sorry to bother you." I responded quietly. "No bother love. He seemed quite worried about you last night, please do call him." Mimi's voice softened. "Yes, Mimi. Thank you." I hung up the phone and stared at it for a few moments. Did I want to call George and Ritchie's flat?
I dialled. "Ello?" George answered on the second ring. "Geo, it's Paul. How's it going mate?" I asked, trying to sound nonchalant. "Not bad mate, are you sick as a dog today?" George chuckled on the other end. "Heard about that then, did ya?" I tried to chuckle back, palming my aching forehead. "John told us." George informed me. "Is he still 'round?" I asked hopefully. "Ehrm, no mate. He stopped by for a tea earlier, but he hasn't been here for a couple of hours now. All alright?" As George spoke I felt my heart sink even further down into my stomach. "Ah okay. I'm sure he'll come here eventually." I responded in a light voice. "Dunno, Paul. He seemed pretty off this mornin'. You sure you guys are alright?" George sounded worried now. "Don't worry, Geo." I smiled softly into the phone. "Talk soon, thanks." I hung up before I could hear his response. Where the fuck was John?
The trial was to start tomorrow, and how I did not want to do it anymore. I had began to loose faith in the entirety of it. Jim had made me feel less important than a spec of dirt most of my life, why would the judge see it any differently? He had a way of manipulating. He could make me seem like an ungrateful criminal who ran off to Germany. I just wanted John. I went to play with my wedding ring, as I had become accustom to doing when I felt anxious, and realized it wasn't there. I shut up off the couch and ran to the kitchen table. Thankfully, it lied on the table next to the empty bottles. "Fuck," I muttered as I slid it back on. As I stood at the table, I noticed a piece of scrap paper with a bunch of scribbles in my hand writing. I picked it up to see what I had written.
John,
I'm sorry. I love you, but I can't keep going on.
Xx
Paul
I balled up the piece of paper and threw it in the trash. Was that suppose to be a break up note, or a suicide note? I was in a panic, and hell I needed John. I grabbed all the liquor that was in the house and dumped it down the drain. As I watched the strong liquid fade away down the drain, the strong smell piercing into my nose. I wanted to blame the strong smell for the tears rolling down my cheeks, but I knew that wasn't it. I was scared. I was always scared, and as the note stated, I didn't want to keep living that way. I heard a knock on the door. I quickly hid the empty bottles and made sure the piece of paper was under some other trash, not to be seen. I wiped my face and fixed my hair quickly, and headed for the door.
I opened the door to find absolutely nothing. Nobody. I looked down the street, in the garden, and nothing. "Bloody hell," I mumbled. Was I loosing my mind, or had someone actually knocked? Perhaps I had taken too long to get to the door. That must've been it. I grabbed my guitar and began strumming a song, when I heard a knock again. I quickly set the guitar down and ran to the door. I opened it and found George with a smile. "Hey mate!" He greeted. "H-hi," I said, moving to allow him inside. "Ye sounded rough on the phone so I thought I'd come check on ye." George smiled as he sat down in the kitchen. That boy practically lived in the kitchen.
"Did you knock before?" I asked. George looked at me with a twisted smile. "What? I just did, Paul. You opened the door and let me in, and now we're here." George chuckled as he spoke. "Oh, well just before you got here someone knocked and then, well, nobody was there." I explained, realizing how crazy I must sound. "Probably just some kids playin' ye!" George said. I nodded in agreement. "Can I assume you'd like a biscuit and cuppa tea?" I smiled, feeling better with my friend around. "You know me so well." George winked. I began preparing tea and got a hold of Auntie Gin's biscuits. "So," I started as I sat back down, waiting for the kettle to boil. "What did John seem upset about this morning?" I asked. George's smile faded. I could tell he was uncomfortable, and now in the middle of something.
"He was just worried, y'know. Y'were really knackered last night, 'e said." George shrugged. "You're hiding something." I blurted. George looked at me as if I had three heads. "Mate, he was at mine and Ritchie's flat for an hour, tops. He came in, 'ad a tea, talked about how knackered y'were, and then all of a sudden he up and left. That's it." George tried to calm me down. I shook my head, but jumped at the sound of the kettle. "What's got you so paranoid?" George asked. I poured him tea and sat back down. "Y'know I'm always paranoid." I tried to laugh but George just looked concerned. "I'm scared for the trial." I said.
There was another knock on the door, causing me to jump. "Ye heard that one, didn't ye?!" I asked, standing up and pointing toward the door. "Ye, I did." George shook his head and chuckled before sipping his tea. "Yer suppose to answer the door when that happens." George was smug with his comment. I rolled my eyes. "D'ye mind gettin' it?" I asked. "Yer that paranoid?" George put his tea down and stood up. I half smiled as I watched him walk toward the door and grabbed his empty plate. I put it in the sink and began washing it lazily. "Paul?" I heard George's voice behind me. "Yeah?" I spun around with the wet, soapy plate in my hand to look at George.
His face was pale and his hands were shaky. "I'm sorry," He said, walking toward me. Another man walked into the kitchen in a suit. "Hello. My name is Pete, and I'm the lawyer in representation stance of your father." Just as the man spoke, Jim McCartney walked around the corner in to the room. The plate in my hand slipped and shattered all over the floor. "Hi, son." He smiled. George was standing in front of me before everything faded. I could only stare ahead into nothing. Everything was black.
"What do you want?" George's voice.
"We need to discuss the trial." Pete's voice.
"Neither of us are at liberty to discuss anything with you without our lawyer." George's voice.
"Get out. Now." George's voice again.
"Paul?" George.
"Paul!"
My eyes finally opened to see George's worried face . "George!" I sat up too quickly, my head felt light. "They're gone, mate." He told me. I lied back down on the couch and closed my eyes. "Fuckin' hell..." I felt George stand up and walk away. Jim's face kept flashing in my mind. "How am I suppose to sit in a court room with him?" I mumbled, before realizing George was on the phone. I opened my eyes and looked at him. His back was turned to me. "He's okay. Are you going to come over? Yes. Yeah, mate. I think he needs you right now. Alright. Ta. See ye soon." George hung up the phone and turned back to me. "Get some rest." He said, looking tired himself.
"Who was that? Was that John? Is he coming?" I asked, sounding very obviously overwhelmed. "Paul, calm down." George tried to stay nice about it but I knew he was stressed. "You can go home, Geo. I'll be fine. I'm just overdramatic." I said, looking at him as he sat down across from me. "Paul, if I were you I wouldn't have passed out. I would've killed him." George said. "It took all of me NOT to kick his arse." George looked down at his hands. "I always make everybody else's life difficult. No wonder John is avoiding me." I rolled onto my side and faced the inside of the couch.
"If I was avoiding you I wouldn't be here, now would I?" John's voice.
I kicked my legs off the couch and stood up in front of him. "Are you okay?" John stared into my eyes the same way he always had. "Yes." I nodded slowly. He stuck his hand out, and as soon as I took it he pulled me into his arms. He didn't squeeze, he just held me. "Did he hurt you?" John whispered into my ear. "No." I smiled at his concern. "Alright, alright. All he does is show up and he's the hero? Let's focus on the real hero. Me." George said with a proud smirk, brushing imaginary dirt off of his shoulder. John released me from the hug, but kept a protective arm wrapped gently around my waist.
"Thank you Geo." I smiled and chuckled at my younger friend. "I'm sorry I make your lives so difficult every single bloody day." I sighed and rested my head on John's shoulder. "Nonsense." George smiled and put his hand on my shoulder. "Yer like me older brother, Paul. I'll stick with ye till the bitter end." He told me. "Love ye, ye soft git." I replied with a slight lump in my throat. "I'm gonna go home. See ye later lads." George said as he gathered a few of his things. We thanked him again, and watched him leave.
John and I had decided not to talk about my melt down from the previous night until after the trial. All he needed to know was that it was about the trial, nothing to do with him. Which he was extremely relieved to hear. We were cuddled up in my small bed once again. "So, ye never said anything earlier... Not tryin' t'sound y'know, needy, or whatever, but when I said I was sorry for making your lives difficult. Y'know, I meant that mostly for you." I mumbled as I lied on his chest. "Sit up." John ordered. I was taken aback by the order, but I sat up and looked at him as he asked.
"Paul McCartney, I told you when we were married that you were my greatest challenge. That's the truth. I love you, Paul. I love you more than you'll ever know."

The Boy Gives Life &... (ep. 3 part 2)
- Good morning, class, says the teacher, with Sayuri on her side. She was a japanese girl with black hair with short ponytails/braids. She wore a gray shirt, jeans and black sneakers. The teacher starts to talk again – Today we have a new student in class: Sayuri Kaneko Nakayama.
And obviously, almost all of the students giggles, ando ne of them makes a predictable comment:
- Isn’t Kaneko mug in portuguese? Why do you have a mug in your n...
He is interrupted when na aparently poisoned dart hits his desk, spreading a purple liquido n the table.
- I already had a whole year with this pointless predictable joke that is so useless as your life; you are predictable and should be ashamed of that; and I’m warning you that this dart do no kill, but will definetly cause a disconfort sob ad that you would wish it was lethal – says Sayuri, who now stared the class with a venomous and dark glance, while putting the blowgun in her bag. She finishes – Are we clear?
All class agrees with their head.
- Wow, I like your atitude, gal - says Lacinho.
- Who said that?
- Please raise me up, Julia – says the doll, being lifted up by her owner – It was me who said that.
The new student gains a confused expression. In her face, and the the teacher “explains”:
- She is a doll with... highly advanced artificial... intelligence...? Well, at least that’s what I’ve heard...
- Hmm right... I’ll sit in that chair next to her... – says the new student, who then questions – But before, what are those ridiculous hats? Is is from that ridiculous cult of yours?
- Hey! It’s not ridiculous, he has divine abilities that few have, but he is the one who has the most abilities, and that makes him unique and d... – says one of the students who wore one of the hats...
- Yeah yeah, whatever, couldn’t care less with who is the leader of this stupidity – Sayuri goes to Charlie and Julia’s direction, sitting in the diagonal-front table from the owner of the talking toy – Hi there.
- ...Hi... – Julia shyly answers.
- Well, let s start this class – says the teacher, writing numbers in the blackboard – Today we will learn Increasing and Decreasing; ok, could somebody...
While the teacher talked, Sayuri writes a small note, and passes to the talking toy’s owner. She picks the small paper, and mentally reads:
- “I’m bad at math, since you yourself helping me would be hard, can your doll help me...? As weird as asking this is...”
Julia looks at the new student, agrees with her head, showing the small note to Lacinho, who also agrees with her head, and jumps to Sayuri’s desk
- What is going on there, Julia? – asks the teacher.
She doesn’t find any answers, but the doll answers for her owner:
- I’ll help Sayuri with today’s matter, do you allow it?
- Uhh... alright... but I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled – the teacher then comments quietly to herself as she goes back on writing in the blackboard – There are no instructions in my curriculum to know what to do about a talking doll helping a student...
Sayuri picks a small writing pad (or small block with many small papers attached to each other), from under the desk, makes a sign with her hand to the doll, who gives a thumbs up.
The new student pretended to copy the blackboard, when in actuality, she “sent messages” by the small writing pad.
(S is Sayuri and L is Lacinho)
S: Do you know the reason behind these weird hats?
L: Evil plan by na ex imaginary friend.
S: “Ex imaginary friend”? What do you mean? Did someone gave life to na imaginary creature? Now I’m full of questions.
- How the heck do you write that fast, gal? – the doll asks.
Sayuri looks sideways, picks a very small bottle of liquid paper from her pencil case, opens it and purposedly spills on the desk.
- “Oh my! I have spilled liquid paper on her, Julia” – says the new student, who then completes while going out of the class with Lacinho on her hands – Teacher, I’ll clean this doll, do’nt worry, I’ll be back soon.
Julia didn’t have time to what actually could be happening, but, decides to believe in the new student.
Who was now on the schoolyard, holding the doll. She puts her on the floor, and says while picking a lollipop from her pocket:
- Alright, please explain to me what is going on... what do you mean “ex imaginary friend? ” What do you mean by evil plan? What are those ridiculous hats? And more importantly, how do you have so much artificial intelligence...?
- Hmm... can ya keep a secret...? – answers “Miss Fernanda”, checking if anyone was around.
- Of course... – Sayuri takes the lollipop out of her mouth, blows air, and puts the candy back into her mouth, completing – If it is what I’m thinking, I want to fight against it; I just don’t like seeing people believing in tricksters...
- Well alright, let’s tell it... – the doll takes a deep breath to start explaining everything...
Some minutes later...
- Got it?
- Yeah... – the new student takes the lollipop out of her mouth, blows air, puts it back, and completes – It was more or less what I thought... hey, your name is really Miss Fernanda?
- My owner named me Lacinho, but my nickname in this jungle of school is Miss Fernanda; yer decide how do ya wanna call me, hehe...
- Right... – the new student takes the stick out of the lollipop, steps on it, picks it up, and puts it in the trash, completing – I need one favor from you before unmasking this trickster... hear me out...
Julia was copying the contente from the blackboard, but decides to stop, verifying what Charlie was doing. He also was copying the contente...
- I have to explain to him that Anjorn doesn’t actually have magic, and neither will take our fingers away... – thinks her, picking a piece of paper to write a small note...
A crumpled paper lands on her small note... it was one of the “followers”; who hints for her to read it.
Without much choice, she straighten the paper, and mentally read the note:
- “I know what you are intending; we were informed that this boy possesses the “mortal touch”, which will kill Anjohn and plunge the world into darkness; I cannot allow you to inform him about his ability; and, if you do this, we will paint you a second time”
- But this made no sense – thinks Julia, looking to the Messenger anda round – But where and how did this not...
She sees Anjorn looking at her by the window while flying. He then flies down, getting out of the roof.
The girl looks at the student who threw the note; he had a paintbrush and a black goauche pot. Without much choice, but obviously not okay with it, she just starts again to copy the blackboard; thinking with herself:
- This Anjorn thought and remembered it all... dammit, did I have to be allergic to goauche...?
Someone knocks the door. The teacher opens it, and there was Lacinho and someone who appeared to be a boy withslightly long hair that covered both of his eyes.
- Hi ma’am, Sayuri started to feel sick, and me and... John here... we will be taking her to the principal’s office – says the doll.
- With who did you leave her? – asks the teacher.
- With a friend of this fellow here. Actually, he will be staying there with her, you can go, ma man, I’ll go back tom y owner – says “Miss Fernanda”, going to Julia’s desk while the boy closed the door, getting out of the class.
- ...Ok... – says the teacher, a little confused – Well, let’s keep going with the class; Miss Fernanda, just do not disturb Julia.
- Alright, Boss, but I already am a doll that moves – says the doll, being at the side of her owner’s bag.
The teacher ignores the joke, and goes back to her class. Lacinho writes something in a small paper, and passes it to her owner, who mentally reads:
- That guy was Sayuri with her clothes backwards; I’ll help her to unmask Anjorn, have a good class.
Before Julia could question, Lacinho jumps from the window nearby.
- Julia! What are you looking there in the window? Why you aren’t paying attention? – the teacher calls out the little girl
- Ah, uhh... it was nothing, I ehrm... I thought I saw a plane – Julia tries to justify.
- Well, okay, but please, have more attention in the class now, ok?
- Ok.
On the ground, the doll gets up, looks up, and thinks with herself:
- Three floors, wow, if I was flesh and boné, I’d be so dead... well, not a time to get phylosophical, let’s get going.
She finds Sayuri next to the girl’s restroom.
- Oh, good, you’re here already – says the human girl – Alright, before we plan something; I need to know something, actually, I meant confirm something...
- Tell me, lady. – says Lacinho.
- I notice that the “little angel” there has a triangular hat in a slightly bit diferente positionn compared to the others... it actually looks like it is glued... glued in something...
- Oh yeah, this is because he has a unicorn hat in his head.
- Ah, alright, it was more or less what I thought; but is it only the horn that he is hiding in this hat...? Even more because this horn is in the top of his head...
- My owner did indeed create this guy like that, but now that you said, it’d be very easy for him to hide something th...
Both of them analyse what they said, and at the same time come to a conclusion:
- It’s a book teaching magic tricks glued to his horn!
- Well well, what do we have here... two infidels... – says Ricardo, from episode 2; and along with him, other four students who also wore hats.
Everyone of them had eggs on their bags.
- I don’t know what are you planning, but you obviously want to do something bad to Anjohn; and that’s why we stole these egges from the kitchen... – says Ricardo – We will be keeping our eyes on you two, because if you do something against him, we will...
- Why do you guys follow him so thoroughly? – Lacinho questions them.
- We shouldn’t question him, he is na angel who knows magic.
- So where is his halo?
- You fiend! How dare you say this of him?! His broken halo is hidden by his hat! You’re na insensitive fi... – a note-book falls on his head, knocking him out; and distracting the others.
Sayuri takes the opportunity to pick Lacinho, and get away from there, entering the girl’s restroom.
- I don’t know where the hell this note-book came from, but do not worry about Ricardo now! – says one of the students from the knocked out student’s “gang” – Catch them both!
- But they enetred the girl’s restroom – says other one of them.
- So in this case, you two! Stay in the bathroom door! And you, go warn Anjohn! I’ll take Ricardo to the principal’s office; go now!
- Right! – the three of them do as said.
this story will continue in part 3

short voyager thoughts
im still unsure how i feel about janeway? </3 which- its very early, so im giving it time and some grace. i am dw. all trek series usually get better after the beginning, or at least thatsbeen the pattern thus far. but i think... and im going to be SO honest. i came into voyager nervous about her!? 3: which is soooo unfair</3 but sigh...
i ts just i have heard one or two disparaging comments. and i think, also, even without those i'd be nervous bc its like. sigh. still, to this DAY, whenever they try to replace a leading male role with a woman in a piece of media, its like -_- .. it almost always sucks... bc they give her no personality other than Woman. like- its always some weird combination of not thinking she needs one, or being too scared to actually DO anything substantial with her, and an overall just "not knowing how to write women" sentiment which. baffling beyond belief. 🤪!
and i was... esp nervous bc. trek has its issues iwth women- or at least it did at this point. dont know squat abt discovery. but i mean- with respect! i do think that ds9 did, at first, have some seriously groundbreaking stuff (like seriously, i'd rank kira and dax ABOVE many women in fiction now!!) but over the course of the show it sort of... ehrm. got a little worse? somehow? not bad, but less spectacular, eek...... and tng was. well tng is tng when it comes to women.... 🤨 (stares). if tht aired as a show rn i'd be like o9
(and also as an aside its like- yes, yes, yes... i am know its like. frome 80s-90s true like. im not triyng to be like "ohhhh,</3 this always sucked😁!" but also i do think tht . SIGH. i think its a little tiresome when ppl do take past media and like... completely put it into some vacuum whenever they talk abt its issues and criticise it. do u know what i mean. like i think its like: for one, its entirely interesting and worthwhile to talk about how consuming it is different, from a modern perspective as opposed to then; and for two its also like... the past isnt a vacuum sealed away from us, even, in the first place so like . ehrmr!! but anyways-<3)
so idk im a little afraid and i dont think theyre going to give her, like, a horrible depiction- but what im sort of anticipating is that shes just going to be.... extremely bland and middling and kinda serviceable bc her main shtick is well shes a woman full stop and im scared for tht fr fr. 😑😣 bc sigh. naurr.... bc she has a LOT of potential- hell this whole set up does!!! and again im giving it the shot, i want to go in optimistic but i keep getting this nagging fear every time im done with an ep and im like "well i have no further comments on janeway, exxcept katie mulgrew is hot which i knew when i was 16 and watching oitnb LOL" , like i just dont want her to just be a serviceable, fill in character but tbe in lurv with her fr frfr<333 soooooooo.................................................
BUT! also also also. i do- i said this last time abt voy, and its sorta why i had it on pause for a bit! like- i again i just. i think in GENERAL they arent taking full advantage of like their whole setup. and its like... its rlly getting me, omg!! bc again: fine, fine, fine. i get it - ds9 was like... a step towards sth grittier and its the outlier, and most ppl dont like it bc of that funnily enough. but thats the thing- like im not asking for that at all, yknow! not for anything super dark. however again i just... WHEN IM WATCHING THIS, IM JUST SORT OF. BEWILDERED BY HOW... NONCHALANT THEY ARE ABT THEIR WHOLE SITUATION. AND ITS LIKE- i think its really just feels weird to me, and i'll give them time to settle in i guess- but its just... i feel like i want more of a reaction. bc theyve given me the set up for some really interesting dynamics and, like, have it all primed to push them into really good narrative spaces to like explore these guys but theyre not? taking any of that opportunity?
and again its like theyre just on some happy jaunt- and thats fine!! hey, i love it. its whats trek will always be about in the end<3 but nonetheless i think... you CAN do that and still have them actually, like, fuckin acknowledge their predicament and be optimistic abt it. like fuck: i think this could rlly lead to such a heartwarming thing, abt the crews coming together, but like... i dont know. i guess it will. but also i dont know how much im gonna care in the end if u dont rlly properly explore the tension thats there in the first place. like you guys just sort of- state it, sometimes? but then the rest of the ep its like. youre just going through the motions of the rest of the script.
and i bring this up again bc im starting this ep (the cloud) and its opening with janeway and im wondering here if we're going to get more of her, but also its just occurred to me that literally.... i feel like shes one of the characters who really could be fucking PUSHED into something sooo good if they just WORKED! with what theyve set up for themselves an the beginning to this ep is rlly making me THINK of tht and im like ahhhhhhhh! ahrghh! AHHRGHHH!!!!
and the doctor also is like a funny example of like . what feels like the only character whos kind of pointing out how horrific this all is but its like hes written off as a joke the whole time and it doesnt even feel self aware and i think. again i think theres also an angle you could go for: go for the characters, here, being the type to just sort of steamroll ahead and power through this sort of sitch but..... EVEN THEN, i think you still need to address the actual sitch narratively in some way bc that still has an effect and consequences and etc etc etc
and i will quiet my mouth now bc i KNOW im jumping the gun too much but i think its just. i think whats ALSO getting to me is like- this is different to the other shows. where its like... with tng there was no overarching plot so if you didnt stick it right at the beginning, it wasnt of such a big consequence. with ds9 there was one, but i think it kind of forgives itself easily and whilst i wouldnt say it makes the show inherently better..... the clumsier start (bc its worth noting, whilst it was rocky i dont think ds9 s1 was THAT bad- at least by comparison to tng) can be appreciated almost! bc i think it works well with the humble beginnings of the show, the characters all sort of coming to ds9 as different people, etc............ but with VOYAGER its like. youve started with a pretty big event. what im assuming is supposed to define, like, the rest of the show from what i hear!? so its like- its like.... it was a BOLD move to do that. and im not saying that, hey! if you dont get it right now, the whole show is shot- nahhh, its not that deep- but i think it just feels... more stark in its mediocrity. and hmmmm. im again unsure. i am of how i think. i am babes i am

The Boy Gives Life &... (ep. 2 part 2)
Part 2
- Alright, here it is, uhh... – says Rodrigo, putting the chess board in a bench-like table that people can sit on – Do youuu... uhhh.....
- Name’s Lacinho, ma man, but you can call me Miss Fernanda.
- Alright, but....
- Spill the beans, little man, tell me what ya want.
- Uhh... nothing... nothing... let’s just play... – he then thinks to himself – Alright, I’ll definetly not lose to a doll; not even gonna ask if she knows how to play, I’ll just go for it.
Charlie now played “correctly”.
- You’re playing better now, Chacha – says Julia, who then scores – But still not enough to beat me, nobody beats m... ...Charlie, you can throw the ball to give it back, you don’t need to put it in my hand every time you lose, specially now that you learn how to play.
- Heh...? – he asks.
- Anyway, now I’ll show something called “special effects” – Julia throws the ball up, and start to spin the paddle like crazy – Prepare yourself to lose a point, because you’ll never get this one, Charlie!
She then hits the ball, which hits the ping pong table net, giving the score to her friend, who didn’t seem to care about her face, and instead, just pick the ball from the net.
- Hmpf! Alright, 3 to 3, but you will never beat me, Charlie! You can give up because you can’t win! – says the girl, being very cocky.
- Ok... – Charlie puts the paddle in the table, indeed giving up.
- No no, Chacha! It’s just a way of saying! It’s not for you to literally give up!
- Ok... – he picks the paddle back; asking then – Can I...?
- Yes.
- Ha! Checkmate, ma man – says Lacinho, who comemorates the victory – Hu hu hahaha hu hu...
Rodrigo then have an idea, and calls her:
- Hey! Little doll!
- What is it, man? – she stops comemorating, and now watch Rodrigo Breakdancing.
- Ah, got it, dude, well let’s see what I can do – the doll tries to do Breakdance, but clearly wasn’t working.
Charlie and Julia were watching them both dancing. The boy was confused, but his friend turns to the side, and writes something in a little flag. Then, she turns back to the two, waving the little flag, that had written: Go Lacinho!
The doll then ends up losing the dance battle after trying to spin and falling to the floor.
Julia let the flag fall to the ground.
- Ha! Darn it, alright, 1 to 1 – “Miss Fernanda” gets up.
- You dance pretty well, dollface – says the big guy.
- Thanks, ma man.
- She is my doll, dude, did you know that? – Julia gets far from Charlie to “reveal” this for Rodrigo – I have her since I was 1 year ol...
- Wait a second... – the big guy then asks to Lacinho – So this means you are 8 years old, is that it?
- Technically I’m still 7 years old, since my birthday is in September 30th, just like my bestie, Julia – Lacinho then touches Julia’s leg; (just like you touch your friend’s shoulder) – Aint it so, bestie?
- Exactly... – Julia notices that Charlie looked at them, confused, so, she decides to include him – And this one here, it was him-I mean, his parents who helped in the creation of Lac-I mean, Miss Fernanda.
Rodrigo whistles shortly and says
- That’s nice, but I saw in you little flag that her name was Lacinho...
- Oh... yeah... I forgot...
- Anyway, this is the coolest doll I’ve ever seen, guys; and, well... – the big boy looks to his sides, notices nobody was paying attention on them. He writes a little note, and passes to Lacinho, hinting that she could show to her owner.
The doll reads it, and passes to her owner, who mentally reads:
- You guys are invited to other reunions on the alley of the “Beasts”, congrats.
- Ah, that’s nice, thank you, dude, we will be there for sure; in the lunch break? – asks Julia.
- Yeah, exactly, see you there... but for now... wanna play another chess round, little doll?
- Of course, ma man – they go to play another round.
- YES! YES! See that, Charlie?? We will belong in a group! – says Charlie’s friend, excited – Isn’t tha awes...
In the alley, there were children and teenagers with White “sticks” in their mouth; with bottles while they staggered, and many other bizarre things. Both of the visitors were flabbergasted.
- Ah, you three are here already... – says Rodrigo, who now was behind the visitors; he had a bottle with a weird yellow liquid in his hands – Want some?
- Uhh... so... it’s just... ehrm... this seems a little... – Julia says while making na unconfortable face of who wasn’t sure how to say that, completing – Illegal...?
- Pff, stay cool, girl, take a look at the bottle – the host shows the bottle closer to Lacinho, who was being held by her owner – This is a cheap Guaraná soft drink, do you see? We here already know that alcohol won’t make our future bright, for example, that White powder that guy is sucking with a straw is just sugar; those sticks are lollipops; even more, because who would start smoking in 2021?
- I mean, that’s nice and all, man – says the doll, a little confused – But why are you telling this specifically to me? It was Julia who asked you.
- Ah, but by your voice, you seem to be older than her.
- Hey! – says the girl... who then thinks a little about it, and notices that indeed her doll sounded older... curious about that, she tries to disguise, misleading Rodrigo first – It’s true, dude, you’re right, but changing subject, do you have a blue drink for me?
- Uw, nice choice, since this is a new drink, give me a minute – says the host, going out of the alley.
- Charlie, quickly, can you check Lacinho’s mental age? – asks Julia.
- But why do you... – asks the doll, being interrupted by the boy...
Who says:
- I can ‘butnotvery’ well...
- Good, do that please – says his friend.
He then approaches his hand to the doll’s head; who looked at him, clearly wanting to say to him to not get too close.
- Between 17 and 19... – he says.
- Wow, so I have a teenage doll who is less than half of my size – says Julia.
- That doesn’t make me a happy camper at all – the doll comments.
- Hello, I’m back, here is your blue drink, girl – Rodrigo is there now with a small bottle of a blue drink. He however had a bigger bottle in his other hand – I brought this for you too, little doll.
- But how about Charlie, dude...? – asks the “little doll”.
- Ah, I imagine he wouldn’t want, you know... and by your voice, I imagine that you want to test different things in your life, you know, even more because we have to maintain ourselves alive and virile to...
- Do ya know I’m a doll, right? – says Lacinho – I don’t have a digestive system and probably not... other systems in my body... you know...?
- Ah, but you still have a mouth, and that’s what matters, are you sure you don’t wanna try, little dollface...?
- ...Was that an euphemism...?
- Euphe-what? – asks Julia – I don’t get it.
- ‘NeitherdoI’ – Charlie “agrees”.
- Ah, it’s nothing, children, I just thought this mad man would offer an actual “alcoholic beverage”... ain’t it so, Rodrigo? – by the look of Lacinho, she demanded an “yes” or else, consequences.
- Y-yeah, that’s it, I didn’t wanna ask anything weird, you’re a doll after all, right...? – he looks sideways.
Both the girls make face that basically said: that’s just weird, man.
Charlie didn’t understand that this was weird.
- Anyways, welcome to our gang – Rodrigo tries to disguise the weirdness...
To be Continued...
