HELLO JIL I have a VERY IMPORTANT question 👀 If I remember correctly you once mentioned that you made Irene/Eidolon's design look similar to Man in Red Naib? To make them match as siblings?

Do you already have any ideas for their lore in mind? (if they're still siblings in that AU that is) I'm just very curious about their relationship dynamic and story, no specific reason or anything haha..... *holding up pencil and paper to take notes*

okay so! i don't think they're siblings here, like the constantine sibs one - they probably have an almost similar dynamic to the OG concept. all i had in mind was, since eidolon was always weeping for her loneliness and soul was there to be her friend - i like to think he probably was able to introduce her to other fellow ghosts to be friends with (corny i know, but this the best i can come up with haha). maybe he's the one who escorts them there :3 since he's kinda like the grim reaper who can traverse anywhere. this is where eidolon would meet him!

actually i think it would be cute if soul assumed eidolon and the man in red were in SOME way, related because they have very similar appearances (red, butterflies, yes.) and probably took her to him thinking "maybe they know each other". while it's sadly not the case, she was still delighted to know there are other spirits around :3

eidolon also meets ghost girl and ghost candle at some point but i didn't think hard for that u.u BUT YES!!! i bet you, the man in red and eidolon starts to get along really well and soul's like

"are you sure you don't have amnesia because its kinda expected if dead people forge-"

"no we are not related"
