Mid-Course Reflection
Something interesting that I’ve learned from this course is that there are a plethora of technology tools available for educators to assist them in engaging students in the classroom. Before taking this class I knew about a couple of tools, but while doing research for the Cool Tools Show-n-Tell assignment I came across so many that it was hard to choose just one. Another thing that I learned and found interesting is the concept of the Flipped Classroom. In the flipped classroom, the learning of a topic or concept takes place outside the classroom and classroom time is used to apply what the student learned through projects, discussions, etc. While I haven't personally been exposed to this kind of learning, I think that it can be a very beneficial for both the teacher and students.
The only thing that I would change about this course is that instead of being online, I would prefer that it was a face-to-face course. This is the first online class that I have taken here at Dominican and while I like it, I think that I could benefit more if it were face-to-face.

Linsey here again,
its been a rough rehearsal progress of "The Drowsy Chaperone". Lots of crazy things are happening, but good things! Wonderful things! I secretly wanna be kitty, and sing all her songs. One of my favorites is Toledo Surprise! Things have been rough, and at most times I feel like everything that I do is wrong. But I know not to take it personally, and just keep on movin on. Sorry bloggers that this blog is so short. I'm actually in class right now!
