I HATE super difficult post-game gauntlets in video games (<guy who obsessively plays super difficult post-game gauntlets)
#the only two games that have that that i just couldnt force myself to beat#are Celeste (oh fuck no i beat the main game you are NOT making ke do farewell or any c sides)#and Marip Odyssey (honestly i COULD probably beat Darker Side but ehhhhhhhhhh)#but i beat both Pantheon of Hallownest AND Path of Pain in Hollow Knight#pale king wasnt lying that path can PAIN#and the also after alterna in splat3 but thats NOWHERE near p5 or pop in terms of literal physical pain it caused me#and intense sustained skill with no breaks fuckign EVER#EDIT: OH I BEAT THE FUCKING WORST AWFUL GODDAMN EVIL ARENA CHALLENGE IN HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST#god. i love that game to bits but FUUUUCK the arena challenges#you have like. 3 minutes. to down an apex thunderjaw and apex scorcher. they can literally kill you in a single hit. nightmare nightmare
