Evil but redeemable eclipse would probably have some very funny interactions with black star/your on the path of redemption eclipse. It’s been a while since I used the boyo but this one could be very interesting!

So that you don’t have to dig through info to learn about him, evil but redeemable eclipse is a version I made back during October and follows what I assumed would be a potential path at the time. That in creating lunar eclipse created his own weakness in the sense that he made someone he had a emotional attachment with, forcing him into a situation where he eventually has to acknowledge that continuing his plan and eclipse typical behavior would mean losing the first person he’s ever genuinely cared about and how that segways to his redemption. The shortened version can just be EBR Eclipse

Just to making sure I'm getting all of this right. EBR eclipse is essentially an eclipse set during the October takeover got so attached to lunar that he's trying to redeem himself but just can't cuz he's naturally evil.

That definitely is something that would be interesting for Black Star. Black Star takes place after his final death. While it sounds like EBR eclipse takes place before any of his deaths. So it's two different lines of thinking. Black Star didn't make any sort of connection. Although during the end of his rain he wanted something. So at least they can correlate on that a little bit.

Black Star is still plenty of evil. He's just holding on to the RBB crew like a lifeline. Plus he's trying to get the world to his assumed normal. Which unfortunately means being friendly with Blue Moon as RBB Sun and Moon simply aren't cooperating. Plus Earth is a whole other fiasco.

You're probably state that EBR eclipse is a weak. Getting so attached to something that should have been a tool. He's not getting attached to Blue Moon. He's working with Earth to make things right. That's all.

I just remembered my EBR Eclipse and am just imagining how he’d feel looking at the canon timeline. He just looks at everything that went down with canon eclipse and is like “you know maybe accidentally getting attached to lunar WASNT the worst thing that could’ve happened to me.” Sure it’s awkward and he hates having to handle his feelings but he can firmly say he prefers this over whatever literal hellscape is happening over here.

This post reminded me of the fact that there’s absolutely at least one EBR universe where infero managed to get the og eclipse to have a redemption arc by making him super fucking jealous and that’s glorious to remember

If Infero ever met a canon SaMS Eclipse, he’d snarkily ask if they were compensating for something. Canon Eclipse and Lord Eclipse are taller than Sun and Moon right now, and Infero thinks they’re pathetic and insecure for it.

Me too! I didn’t mind at first but all of their issues eclipsed the Flarrowverse even Fefe’s arc of her being paralyzed was about her drama with Oliver. Also it doesn’t help he looks like her big brother and EBR and Willa Holland are litterally the same age.

Felicity was CW's usual fan pandering... and not putting Green Arrow and Black Canary together is a crime, I can't believe they actually screwed that up

EBR eclipse is emotionally constipated so while he’s attached to lunar he doesn’t really realize it yet, and refuses to acknowledge it. If he says he doesn’t care about lunar then he doesn’t, even if he’s lying to himself. He’s still evil at this point, because he’s ignoring his attachment and the fact that he’s slowly being forced to choose one or another is just something he refuses to think about. Why think about the decision you might have to make when you can just not acknowledge it?
