Hi! Not my usual style but I’m really proud of this and want to share!

So I make pottery and a lot of my pieces are inspired off of fleeting interests or something like that. Today I spent like two and a half hours on this pot,

This was before I refined it but still, I think it looks great. (Also I’m wearing an apron in the background, I promise those aren’t my pants lol)

(SPOILERS for those who haven’t read Crimson Rivers)

This pot is inspired off of Crimson Rivers by bizarrestars! In the fic after James and Regulus get back from their first games, James leaves a flower on Reg’s doorstep every day. So the inside of the pot is a flower, symbolizing James’s resilience and bravery to continue to love Regulus.

On the bottom of the pot I wrote, “If I can’t climb, I will grow.” The huge saying Regulus says throughout the fic after Evan’s death. This displays Regulus’s courage and determination to overcome the challenges he faces.

On the side of the pot is braided clay, which has been carved to look like wood. Regulus notoriously fears heights and in the book at some point is required to climb up a wall (made of branch and shrub) to survive. This shows overcoming of fears and doing things despite being scared.

Anyways! I just really wanted to share. I’m really proud of the pot but have no one to talk to it about so I brought it here :] Please treat it kindly, it’s my art and to me it’s a part of me.

Been thinking about having a Hellhound on a chain leash and collar recently, how fucking good it would be to feel the utter hellish heat of it's knot splitting you open, even as it growls in your ear everytime you tug on it's leash

Mm keeping a hold on the leash so they can’t go anywhere, not like they’d want to, but encouraging it to keep going. I’m sure you’re talking about the monster type hellhound but I can’t get a pet play version of this out of my head. Maybe a little demon pup messing around with a big guard dog hellhound that’s chained to one post and needs a break or is teaching them a lesson for trespassing.

I've had a song stuck in my head for the last three days but unfortunately it's a song that me and my high school band wrote and if there is a recording of it, it is only on the old flip phone of somebody's dad or maybe a digital camera somewhere because outside of practice we performed it once ever.
