नई दिल्ली। ई.पलानीस्वामी अगले साल तमिलनाडु चुनाव के लिए सत्तारूढ़ AIADMK के मुख्यमंत्री पद के उम्मीदवार होंगे, इस पद के लिए उनके डिप्टी और कथित प्रतिद्वंद्वी, ओ पन्नीरसेल्वम ने कल घोषणा की थी।

मुख्यमंत्री ई.पलानीस्वामी या “ई.पी.एस” और श���री पन्नीरसेल्वम के बीच गहन प्रतिद्वंद्विता पर बातचीत और अटकलों के हफ्तों के बाद यह घोषणा की गई थी। पार्टी की एक 11 सदस्यीय संचालन समिति “सामूहिक नेतृत्व” को देखेगा, श्री पन्नीरसेल्वम, जिन्हें “ओ.पी.एस” भी कहा जाता है, 2016 में पूर्व AIADMK प्रमुख और मुख्यमंत्री रहे जे जयललिता के नेतृत्व को याद करते हुए कहा।

कथित तौर पर आज सुबह 3.30 बजे तक वार्ता चली, जो कि उस घोषणा की ओर अग्रसर थी, जो अब तक ई.पी.एस और ओ.पी.एस के बीच शक्ति का एक नाजुक संतुलन है। OPS को मुख्यमंत्री पद के उम्मीदवार के रूप में पेश करने वाले पोस्टरों ने AIADMK के शीर्ष दो के बीच एक और गहन लड़ाई के बारे में बात की थी।

भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप में जेल में बंद AIADMK प्रमुख वी के शशिकला की वापसी के लिए समझौता महत्वपूर्ण है। शशिकला के जनवरी में जेल से रिहा होने की संभावना है, हालांकि रिपोर्ट बताती है कि, यह पहले हो सकता है।
