Hello? Is this thing on? Haha, I'm just joking… anyways hello, I’m Dylan! You may have heard of me from the news for being one of 9 camp counsellors attacked by an animal (it was a werewolf) BUT you know I'm trying to steer away from that. You know, trying to stay mysterious and all….

Anyways, I haven't explained why I am here! I am here because my therapist said it would be good for me to have a journal but for the love of god I cannot pick up the habit of journaling! So instead of, you know… not journaling and keeping all these pesky thoughts in this beautiful skull of mine, I will tell all of you these pesky thoughts! And maybe answer some of your guys questions while I am at it (only if ur lucky though ;])

Anyways I have got to go! BYEEEEE DUDES!!!!!

So more about this blog! This blog takes place after everything that happened at hacketts quarry and its still fairly recent so Dylan is still recovering from everything that has happened and also his hand getting chainsawed off so the perfect opportunity for angst!!

I should also mention that there's going to be some headcanons of mine integrated into this RP blog so if you don't like a hcs of mine then GO AWAY! Not that hard :3

Anyways other roleplay blogs are allowed to interact with this one!! I do not mind if you want your Ryan RP blog to interact with mine (I was just using Ryan there as an example you can use whatever blog you want!)

And if you have any tips on how I can improve on roleplaying as Dylan then definitely tell me!! (of course in a nice manner) because I will be 100% not accurate all the time and might even be out of character with what he would do so if u notice that and have a better way of doing it THEN TELL ME PLZ!!

I think I may be the only person who will ever think about this concept on this hell site of a “social media”, but since Super Massive made both House Of Ashes and The Quarry, which are both games I’m hyperfixated on rn, lemme give you my weirdest hc I’ve probably ever thought of connecting the two games!

While HOA is part of the Dark Stories series, I fully believe you could also definitely tie it to The Quarry. There is of course the obvious reason of HOA deals with weird alien vampires while Quarry deals with a strange variety of werewolf. But also, it always struck me weird that Dylan just like...was hyper aware of some of the shit goin on in the game?

Like, he was more than aware this was some horror movie like scenario, and he knew almost instantly that this was an infectious thing they were dealing with, and instantly knew “amputating is the only way to survive other than being attacked”. Now, where else is that a scenario where you can get attacked, bitten and turned into a strange mythological creature? HOUSE OF ASHES!

Now, my full weird hc was that somehow in some way Dylan was a grandkid of Jason and Salim (because you cannot tell me those two weren’t going to get married later after the events of the game). Whether that be because he’s somehow Zain’s kid or not, somehow he is the grandson. And having weird cool gay grandpas who had to be on the front lines of almost fucking fist fighting god damn eldritch vampire aliens could give you a hell of a one up in an infectious werewolf scenario.

Basically what I’m saying is my brain thought it would be hilarious if Dylan was some funny lil vampire hunter who now gets to go home missing a hand and tell his granddads about how they get to add werewolf hunter to the family titles.

Like I said, I know it’s stupid but the idea was very funny to me and I thought I would share it /lh
