Q. What is a Dustard?

A. Dustard is a combination of a character from Underfell, Fell!sans, and a character from Dusttale, Murder!sans. In the fandom's use of the word for them, Fell!Sans is often referred to by their source name (mustard), while Murder!Sans uses the word for dust instead of ketchup. By combining mustard and dust, their combination is spelled "Dustard".

Q. Were you the first to come up with the Dustard combination?

A. Yes and no, the combination itself existed before that. If you're referring to the two-person (murder!sans, UF!sans) combination based on Dusttale's unofficial ending, then yes.

Q. What inspired you to create Dustard?

C: My interests have always been limited to the underground of Dusttale, but about two years and a few months ago I became interested in the multiverse and thought about meeting him and other characters. The result was… wow!

F: The Undertale au universe is a big one, and we all have fun creating stories, but Dusttale's Murder!sans, cut off from the multiverse, has been alone for a long time. I wanted to give him a friend he could share a drink with without ever touching his world. A partner that he wouldn't have to worry about being corrupted by, with whom he could share small talk, crack dry jokes, or just say hello to his own shitty world. UF!sans from Underfell is Sans, who holds onto the Justice (golden eyes) that Murder!sans lacks, and Genocide Route doesn't exist in his world. I thought Murder!sans would be a friend that he wouldn't have to worry about. As a result, they became friends, and after thinking about this and that, they became a combination.

Q. Is this official?

A. It's only unofficial. For the record, Murder!sans doesn't know how to go to another world.

Q. Do you have permission to do this?

A. FELLA, the creator of Underfell, has written in the "AU FAQ" section that you are welcome to create your own Underfell story. I actually sent him a message, and he gave me permission to play around.

That said, I also recognize that none of this is official. Nothing you're worried about is going to happen, haha.

Q. Can I make merch, my own AU, game, music?

A. Commercial inclusion, controversial material in public, and NSFW content are all prohibited. Please don't. Other than that, it's fine, feel free to interpret, talk about, and enjoy!

Q. Dustardって何ですか？

A. DustardはUnderfellの登場人物、Fell！sansとDusttaleの登場人物、Murder！sansの組み合わせを意味する言葉です。ファンダムで彼らを意味する言葉として、フェルサンズはソース名称（マスタード）と呼ばれることもあり、マーダーサンズの場合はケチャップの代わりにほこりを意味する言葉を使いました。mustardとdustを合わせて彼らのコンビを"Dustard"と表記しています。

Q. Dustardの組み合わせを最初に思いついたのはあなたですか？

A. そうかもしれませんし、そうでないかもしれません。 組み合わせ自体はそれ以前にも存在していましたから。 ダストテールの非公式なマルチバースエンディングによる二人のコンビを指すのであればそうです。

Q. Dustardを作ったきっかけは何ですか？

C：私の興味はあくまでdusttaleの地下に限られていたのですが、およそ2年数ヶ月前からマルチバースに興味を持ち、Murder!sansと他のキャラクターとの出会いを考えました。その結果が…じゃじゃん！

F : Undertale auの世界は広いですよね。みんなそれぞれ楽しく物語を作っていくんです。 でも、マルチバースの交流が遮断されていたDusttaleのmurder!sansは長い間一人でした。 私は彼の世界に触れることなく、安心して酒を交わすことができる友達をプレゼントしたかったんです。些細な話をしたり、くだらない冗談を言い合ったり、お互いのクソみたいな世界に安否を確認したりする、堕落する心配のない友達。 UnderfellのUF！sansは、murder！sansに欠けている正義（金色の眼光）を握っているサンズであり、彼の世界にはGルートが存在しません。最終的にmurder！sansが心配することのない存在だと思いました。結果的に彼らは友達になり、あれこれ考えているうちに、いつの間にか一つの組み合わせになっていました。じ���じゃん！

Q. これは公式ですか？

A. あくまで非公式です！公式には、murder！sansは他のauの行き方を知らないんです。

Q. 許可は取れましたか？

A. Underfellの製作者であるFELLAさんからは、AUのFAQの項目に、自分だけのUnderfellストーリーを作ることを歓迎すると記載されています。私は実際に製作者にメッセージを送り、自由に遊んでいいという許可をいただきました。

それでも、このすべてが公式ではないということも認識しています。あなたが心配するようなことは起こらないと思いますよ（笑）。

Q. Dustard가 뭔가요?

Q. Dustard를 만들게 된 계기가 무엇인가요?

C : 제 관심은 어디까지나 더스트테일의 지하에 국한되었으나, 대략 2년하고도 몇 개월 전부터 멀티버스에 대한 관심이 생기며 머더 샌즈와 다른 캐릭터와의 만남을 고민해 봤어요. 그 결과가… 짜잔!

F : Undertale au 세계는 넓잖아요. 다들 즐겁게 서사를 짜고, 각자 세상을 만들며 재미나게 놀고 있어요. 하지만, 멀티버스 교류가 차단되어 있던 Dusttale의 murder!sans는 오랫동안 혼자였어요. 전 그의 세상에 터치하는 일 없이, 안심하고 술잔을 주고받을 수 있는 친구를 선물하고 싶었습니다. 소소한 이야기를 나누고, 텁텁한 농담을 주고받거나, 각자 봵스러운 세상에 안부를 주고받기도 하는, 타락할 걱정 없는 파트너요. Underfell의 UF!sans는 murder!sans에게 부재된 정의(금색 안광)을 붙잡고 있는 샌즈이며, 그의 세상은 G루트가 존재하지 않습니다. murder!sans가 걱정할 리 없는 친구라고 생각했어요. 결과적으로 그들은 친구가 되었고, 하나의 조합이 되었습니다.
