I got distracted earlier today thinking about what if sunflowers were used as like a traditional ward against vampires especially at night because they spend all day soaking up the sunlight and people believed the power of the sun lived in the flower
#please feel free to ignore this#I know the name for sunflower in three languages and all of them include the language's word for 'sun'#During eclipses people hold sunflowers to their forehead or something and pray#or maybe burn the flowers to try and get them to 'release' the sun again#Me getting distracted by literally anything: How could someone make a religion/folk remedy/etc. out of this
