Based on that storyboard post—okay, I'm aware this feels a bit ooc of D-16—but stay with me for a bit. In some of the storyboards, there was an implication that Dee wanted to team up with the high guards. He saw them & thought: 'Hey, I like these guys! We can take down Sentinel with their help!'. That didn't happen, unfortunately. (If Ramjet & Slipstream hadn't electrified them, Dee wouldn't probably be super pissed like he was in the movie lmao)

If they had gone with that route maybe he & Star wouldn't had to fight. The 3 would've probably had a more okayish relationship with Dee. My mind is blank now do you guys get what I'm trying to say?-
