Finally ready to talk about the Grimoire. So in Volpina we see Adrien take the book, Lila steals it and throws it away, then Marinette takes it. In between episodes his dad finds out and comes up with his whole plan. He believes that if Adrien lost the book at school then someone will connect it to him and that Gabriel must be Hawkmoth. Makes sense so far. So he akumatizes himself so that people can’t think he’s Hawkmoth. Move to when Ladybug is telling Chat about that Gabriel is Hawkmoth. Gabriel apparently made his logo a butterfly even though he’s only been Hawkmoth for a few months, so that’s probably a coincidence. Unless Hawkmoth appeared and then changed his logo a few days later. We see Gabriel is watching them and goes keikaku dori. Funny enough the logic they use to fake his innocence is the same logic Light uses, except there L knew it was crap. Hold on though, Gabriel just watched Ladybug suspect him, she doesn’t give a reason why but the timing must mean that she has the Grimoire or at least saw it. Well if Adrien lost it while he was at school then that means Ladybug must have seen it there. Go back to Pharoah where Alya shows that Ladybug has the same book as her, which with a small amount of research, is only given to Francis Dupoint. Gabriel does watch the Ladyblog as we see in Feast, so it’s reasonable that he could suspect Ladybug at least goes there. Since Kwamibuster hasn’t happened yet we can let that whole thing go…for now. So that’s two dots that connect Ladybug to Adriens school. Cut to the end of the episode where Marinette returns the book to Gabriel. She tells him that she saw it at school and “borrowed” it. This teenage girl who goes to Adriens school has returned the book that connects me to Hawkmoth. Ladybug suspected me likely due to the book. Well better never think of this again. Like bruh what!? That’s three dots connecting you to the school, and to this girl. In Syren, Hawkmoth learns that the heroes are using elemental powerups, which he knows is in the Grimoire. Hmm what a coincidence that they happened to learn it after Marinette returned the book to you, it’s not like photos exist. Oh wait in Miracle Queen you learned that Fu has an iPad with photos of the books pages. But how could the Guardian only have a digital copy and not a physical like mine…oh wait. Another two dots. Then a few episodes later that girls best friend becomes Rena Rouge, which you don’t find out until later but still, another dot. In Gang of Secrets Ladybug even tells Lady Wifi that Alya is her close friend. Another Marinette connection. And if someone says that Gabriel can’t know that Marinette and Alya are close, Sentibubbler and Optigami beg to differ. That and Kwamibuster makes 7 dots. There might be more but you get the idea. From The Collector going forward Gabriel should have been suspicious of Marinette. He suspected Adrien for a lot less. Two times can be coincidence, but that many? Hawkmoth should have been jumping Marinette since Season 2.

I guess with Marinette and Ladybug, Gabriel didn’t draw some connections, like maybe he thought the power-ups were made by Ladybug since she has the knowledge of the Grimoire herself, or how someone else could have backed up the data on the Grimoire before Gabriel got it.

I do get that the show has a lot of plot holes regarding Marinette’s connection with Ladybug, but then again, Marinette just gave up looking for Hawkmoth’s identity after her first lead reached a dead end.

The first one is Adrien and his big sister, Evelyn ( #bigsis!AU - old idea). In my head: 

she is 16.

went to London 5 years ago because her study (in private boarding school).

but came home when she heared about Adrien went to public school.

she has a better relationship with their father. But Evelyn can be loud about her opinion of Gabriel’s parenting.

she loves Nino, Alya and Marinette and really grateful for their friendship with Adrien.

furthermore she understands Chloe too. Sometimes she goes to shopping with her or drinks a coffee or something. Evelyn remembers when they were little kids and jut played some boring game. And she knows why Chloe is a bully but does not like this side. Evelyn are a good influence for Chloe. 

Adrien loves his big sis. When she came home he just was smiling all day and stayed with her all day. 

Someday he showed her Dupoint-Chang bakery. Apparently Evelyn fell in love cookies, cakes, macarons, etc. Gabriel forced his children in unhealthy diet so the bakery was the heaven for them. 

Evelyn did not know about identities for one or two months. Then Plagg was hungry and went to kitchen. And got a cheese and fell asleep. And Evelyn founnd him. And held him in her room. And Adrien did not know where was the kwami. And he searched, searched, SEARCHED when finally saw his big sis was feeding his kwami, his personally bad luck god. And he just muttered: “Oh my fucking cheese store!”

after the big reveal Evelyn supported her little brother. And after short time she found out Marinette being Ladybug and... yeah. Big support: inviting Marinette always, sly looks/smiles, some hint about she wants Marinette being good wife-material, etc. But they are oblivious. 

and then Evelyn met Lila Rossi... and the hell is OUT.

Second one is an unfinished idea.

//OOC Romantic Plotline update

This post has to do with all romantic relationships that have taken place in Maysilee’s old timeline (LDN & Underground) as well as moving forward how I will -as a Mun- treat any potential indie ships.

Stay tuned for another update regarding future plotlines/verses

Maysilee had three major ships within LDN and Underground; Jordan, Ronan and Asher. I won’t waste my breath explaining her past but in short, she was severely tortured, raped and mutilated by a group of ruthless men. So Maysilee does display the common stereotypes of an abused woman when it comes to her romantic relationships. 

Although Jordan asked for her permission to kiss, his complicated relationship with Maysilee’s adoptive sister Cara and his frequent disappearances this didn’t constitute a healthy relationship. This is seen in the fact that Maysilee did little to subvert his advances once he was physically touching her, despite the fact that she constantly tried to redirect his attention back to his wife. Keep in mind this relationship was the first she had since the torture, and although she physically consented to being held, kissed and generally touched, she didn’t verbally consent after the initial kiss. On top of that, the promises they made to one another were never kept, and this was probably the biggest driving force behind her distaste towards promises from the people she loves. 

All that being said the relationship was good in the fact that he was her sounding board during the first few months in the tunnels. He allowed her to become self-analytical, and helped her maintain her faith. Without this she may not have had the self drive to follow the group to Ireland after the attack. 

Once she got to Ireland things became complicated in that she had two relationships almost one after the other and while one was mostly established as canon both were left slightly open to debate. Time to set the record straight. 

Maysilee is canonically with Asher Dupoint. But let me first address the Ronan x Maysilee pairing. Ronan was a drifter, he never pointedly decided to stick with their group until right before the fall of LDN. Which was problematic considering Maysilees devotion to her family. More than that he also had a similar mindset as Maysilee, except instead of being the victim of sex void of emotion he was the perpetrator. (This was never verbally explained to Maysilee but instead became a background story in their relationship.) Because of this they both felt at ease to be physically close but never quiet emotionally bonded. This can be seen in the fact that Maysilee consistently shows her fear of not being able to compete with his past, and being angry when he wouldn't open up to her. Other Prime examples being; that Maysilee told him several times she had moved on (to be with Asher) and yet Ronan continued to ask her to stay the night with him in his room, and the multiple times he kissed her without regard to her feelings. 

And although I love their pairing (and no matter how many fluffy hc’s I write) I don’t believe this relationship would be long term beneficial or healthy towards Maysilee’s overall state of mind. Just the honest truth, doesn't mean it wouldn't make for some epic story telling and character development though. 

Now onto Asher, their relationship wasn’t by any means healthy but it was by far the most important to her character development. Which is why I will in the future write her as canonically having been/ being with Asher. They way their relationship was written he constantly asked for verbal consent, even when she was physically in control (cue blankfort thread flashbacks). Speaking of which Asher is also the only man she actually consented to having sex with since her arrival in Europe. To her this is the highest form of trust and intimacy. But on another note Asher also allowed Maysilee to be herself while trying his best not to be overprotective as she went on several dangerous excursions on her own. The best example’s of this being the time Maysilee returned from the Hunter camp with Keera and Cara. He confessed his love for her, helped her bandage her wounds and Maysilee ended up being the one to make the first move by kissing him and reassuring him that she was alright. 

While Maysilee may not understand her emotions with Asher (Maysilee was quick to tell both Jordan and Ronan that she loved them she was hesitant with Asher.) They’re not afraid of speaking their minds to one another, and because of that Maysilee know’s she can rely on him to be honest and maintain some balance in her life. There’s a kind of interpersonal trust the two share that she doesn’t extend to any other family member. (Keera and Maysilee’s trust understandably falls under another category.)

As far as any future ships, Maysilee may be open to shipping especially in her modern-verse. As far as her ZA-verse Asher will be a past partner, or treated as her current partner depending on the timeline. Do not think that just because our characters are physically close or open with one another that their relationship is canon, UNLESS IT’S SPECIFICALLY SAID.
