#Dray is like 90% hair even when not a chibi lol

I haven’t been up to working on writing this week, so here’s a drawing I did of two of my dorks a few months ago that I forgot to share. I've slowly been getting back into drawing in an attempt to learn how to, although I’ve definitely been slacking off these past few months. A part of learning has involved drawing chibis of my characters because I’m all for adorable! The first one I finished is Firedrake and Sol, the pair of fire dorks. Sol managed to sweep Dray off their feet-- literally here-- mostly through silliness and kindness. Dray couldn't tell you exactly when this happened because theirs was a relationship slow to develop, but I don't think it takes any characters by surprise to learn that they're a couple. It's much more likely that everyone was placing bets on when Dray and Sol would finally admit it. (Hint: it takes three whole freaking books.) You can find out more about their relationship here with their moodboard. They're adorable and chaotic and I love them.

This drawing started in my sketchbook and then I moved it over to my tablet to finish and color it. I think this is the third drawing I did on my tablet and I'm really happy how it turned out! I didn't think I'd be into digital drawing because I tend to prefer everything on paper, including writing, but dang do layers make this so much easier than erasing. I started working on a trio one for Addy, Blythe, and Etri, and individual chibis, but I haven’t finished them yet. If I ever do, I’ll share those, too. :)
