Bloomburrow³ - Cube
360 Cards for Draft
Mythic 13, Rare 60, Uncommon 110, Common 177
Creature 214, Artifact 16, Instant 52, Sorcery 33, Enchantment 26, Land 19
White 55, Blue 56, Black 56, Red 56, Green 57, Multi 45, Colorless 16, Land 19
Full list below the cut. I'm not fully decided on this list yet, and I would love feedback. My primary construction rule on this was to solely be Bloomburrow. My only stretch on this was to include one of the Calamity Beasts from the Commander set. But I'm already thinking I might replace it with Cruelclaw. It will be readily apparent that I doubled up (and tripled) heavily, that was primarily to support typal builds. My next step will be to read up on the story to see if there's any flavor elements that I want to also include that I missed.
I'm also going to start tracking my acquisition of the needed cards.

Invasion of Tempest Keep
“Seize the fortress. Take no prisoners, lest they be a spy,” Kael’thas commanded, stopping at the foot of the stairs leading to the marble fortress. Sunfury forces, clad in elite blood elven armor and atop dragonhawks, charged ahead while their leader surveyed the outliers. A flash of lightning and thunder shocked the barren wastelands of Netherstorm. He picked up a purple rock, squeezing it in the palm of his hand. He, and surely the rest of his magically-inclined people, felt intensely the chaotic energies of the arcane running rampant throughout the environment. Just the lonesome rock he temporarily bore contained enough chaos to shock his fingers. He jerked slightly and let it fall to the ground, fisting his fingers together to wipe off the dirt.
When an apprentice first studies any sort of magic, among the first lessons he or she must remember—a rather basic yet life-threatening one—is to strictly heed the warning of arcane and how its unpredictability, its instability, wreaks harmful effects upon the body, mind, and soul. A mage, drenched in scholarly devotion and distracted by the delight and confidence in his or her budding talents, simply “forgets” all safety precautions in favor of power and higher knowledge. And in such a place as Netherstorm, “forgetting” was likely. But which came first—the power or the inability to choose his people’s fate? Kael’thas wasn’t so sure now. He peered into large crystals, which randomly spread out along the edges of the fortress and land. Placing his hand on one, he closed his eyes in an attempt to focus its energies.
Since the day the naga came to rescue his people from the ruins of Dalaran, Kael’thas feared he had sealed his fate. Like twisted salvation, his people had survived this long rather than wallow in despair, crawling in the bowels of their beloved home as Wretched. He had told that sea witch, indulged in how desperate they had become in their quest for mana satiation—and refusal to drink from the blood of a demon. And Stormrage. Procuring a glimmer of false hope in the dark of night. The hairs on the back of his neck stood as he recalled hooves clopping the unholy grounds of the Black Temple, wings flapping with the span of a natherzim, and if the Betrayer’s face was of any comparison to his own, it was more boulder and sunken with the effects of the demonic blood seeping from dark lips. Illidan Stormrage consorted with powers that increasingly endangered the lives of their peoples, throwing himself obsessively into the work of his demon hunters. He clenched his teeth, absorbing the energies of the crystal. Upon overthrowing Magtheridon and overseeing the rise of Stormrage as lord of Outland, Kael’thas and Akama had, if even mentally, sworn that glorious victory swept through their hands like sand—and quite literally. Stormrage represented something of a gargoyle, at first nobly warding off the demons of the land and yet, as if by some warped meaning of the word, he became one himself. Resembled the Deceiver. He squinted, fingers digging hard into the pointed edges of the crystal. Curse the whispers... Sun above. Damn the whispers of the Deceiver.
He opened his eyes. As he took in the newfound energies like a breath of fresh air, he watched the crystal, translucent in its soft glow, turn completely pale instead of fel green. Why not? His hunger sated, and he knew the feeling, knew that limited feeling of relief and joy. But this was different, he realized as he held back his robe sleeve to check the pulse in his wrist, covering the large veins brought on by the fel magic. As he tried to determine the source of his calmness, four advisors flanked the prince’s side. Lord Sanguinar turned a quizzical eye from the pale-colored crystal to Kael’thas. His black raised brow gave away the hint that he had been watching from afar.
“Our troops have been successfully dispatched to each sector of Tempest Keep, my liege,” Thaladred the Darkener broke the silence, his usual soft voice firm and shaken with excitement. “The rest of them are standing by for infiltration of the middle branch.”
“Ah. Yes. Of course,” Kael’thas replied, snapping himself out of a trance. He turned bleary-eyed to his dear advisors, cracking a smile. “Let us take a look, shall we?”
Joining the rest of his forces stationed inside, he made his way through the narrow hallways, all of which seemed to form a loop, connecting the four rooms together. As he neared the very back room, the same still calm suffused his body, and he wondered if anyone else experienced this strange sensation of peace. His body, suddenly paralyzed from the waist, stopped at the sight of a huge celestial form in the back of the room. He could make out wings in its shapes and a face that judged no one. It seemed to bathe the whole of the vacant room with its radiant light, reaching far and wide the gemstones in the corners and a cluster of crystals that glistened in the ceiling, much resembling Silvermoon’s grand sapphiric chandeliers. Hovering, the being remained unwavering in its position and seemed undisturbed by its intruders, as if it expected their coming. His ears twitched, musical chimes invading his mind, relief spilling and casting away all manner of doubt, stress—and the demonic whispers. For a moment, he let the creases in his face relax when Master Enginner Telonicus broke in.
“My scouts tell me it is called a naaru. Divine, transient, and noble beings—the very physical manifestations of the Light itself. There are several of its kind, much like the ones in Shattrath that Illidan spoke of—and ordered us to attack. I believe this one, called M’uru, is the sole guardian, having defended Tempest Keep from the Burning Legion for centuries.”
“Yes, I am clearly aware of the naaru in Shattrath,” Kael’thas said simply.
“What’s odd—and working further in our favor--is that it isn’t attacking us,” Master Engineer Telonicus chimed in. “I propose we confiscate it before it can summon its allies.”
“Such simple-minded creatures!” Grand Astromancer Capernian said.
“We shall see about that,” Kael’thas considered, inching closer toward the naaru. The music grew louder, more resonant, and then a voice called in the midst, blotting out his surroundings entirely as if they were the only beings in the room, exchanging telepathic communication. Not so simple-minded as the astromancer boasted now, was it?
He felt something break through in his mind. A link established between the fel in his energies and what felt like the Light. The energies pushed and pulled, and a sharp headache made Kael’thas grit his teeth. Then it subsided like a cool splash of water. Was the naaru cleansing him of the fel magic that so clouded his judgment? It could not have been so potent. In his addiction, he dreaded to think of the thought. Instead, he drowned out that small hopeful voice within himself and focused on the task at hand.
He paused, slightly hesitant. “I am at a loss. In more ways than one.”
“I have seen what lies ahead. Come closer, Sunstrider.”
“You would surrender yourself to our cause.” The tone in his voice was flat yet almost demanding.
“Yes,” it said simply.
