💝: a kiss on the forehead

After a long day of working Red Son was happy to go out for a nice walk around the town. Meeting Mei at the park? That was a bonus. Forget the fact she asked him to come, seeing her always made him happy.

He pulled her into his arms...was the night warm or was it her? He couldn't tell, it didn't matter either. He felt comfortable having her this close. She fit into his arms so...so perfectly. He never wanted to let her go.

She was rambling about something, apologizing? He wasn't listening. They were nothings to him. But the sound of her stammer was grating, just a bit. He put a hand on her chin and gently tilted her head up.

"Red?"

He smiled gently down at her, then pressed a soft kiss against her forehead. "...its always good to see you, my goddess."

Red just smiled as Mei hid her now bright red face into the shoulder of his jacket. Adorable.
