The warrior of light laid wide awake in his inn room. His body refused to relax, denying him the rest he had so desperately needed. No matter how hard he tried to shut it out; the sound of his beloved's crying rung loudly in his mind. It was as if he could still feel the vibrations in his horns.

Drac had refused to return to the manor that night. He simply could not face the count. Not yet, not after what he considered his biggest failure. He was too ashamed, in too much pain, too guilt ridden.

I should not... I cannot return. Not tonight. Drac thought to himself as he gazed up at the Fortemps manor.

"Go." And so Drac did. Slowly stepping onto the Enterprise. His armor feeling tighter and his sword heavier than ever before.

Well first it is worth mentioning that in the Dracverse so to speak he is The WoL. When Drac made it to Ishgard and more specifically the Fortemps manor he was pretty much smitten right away. In part because of the Count's physical appearance but also because of the way he treats Drac and his companions. Edmont outranked them all technically and yet he bowed and showed them respect. He also did not expect Drac to act the hero at least not right away. He was clearly more concerned for his well being. Which was incredibly rare for Drac and a rather pleasant surprise to be honest. What followed was a shared curiosity for the other. If Drac had his way he would love to simply sit and listen to Edmont talk, and as it so happened Edmont felt the same about Drac. This lead to many conversations over tea. Even the occasional walk around Ishgard and "shopping trip" together. The house Fortemps steward picked up on their shared attraction rather quickly and showed both of them a lot of support while also trying to nudge them into confessing... Which had mixed results.

They both struggled with guilt and bad experiences with prior relationships which certainly made it even more difficult. There was also a question of whether they felt like they deserved the other, which certainly held them back. But they learned from each other and helped each other grow and move on from their pasts, together.

They are both caring older men with a love for the simple joys in life and a knack for adopting people as their kids. One thing that was also a big deal for Edmont was how Drac treated staff in the manor and people overall. He was kind to everyone he met and wasted no time on those who were rude.

There is a moment I have written but not posted where they are at a banquet together and a few other nobles, including the host, are essentially talking shit about Drac; which he overhears. It does not bother him until it extends to them also making some unsavory comments about his beloved count. That's when he decides to just leave, which is as you'd probably guessed, rather rude. Edmont finds him only a few moments later leaning against a streetlamp and looking up into the mountains with his arms crossed.

When Edmont approaches he assumes that it was about something someone said, but thinks that Drac is upset about them insulting him. Drac explains that he did not want to end up doing something he would truly regret so he simply left instead. That he did not mind their comments about him but that the moment the good count's name was brought up in such a manner he simply had to leave for it infuriated him.

"If they intend to waste my time in there, then I see no reason to stay. For when they speak ill of the most kind and welcoming man in all of Ishgard, I simply cannot accept that. Well.. he is to me, at least."

That was a moment that truly helped Edmont realise how much they mattered to one another, because Edmont felt the same about Drac. The main reason he had even began to look for Drac was because of things he overheard that really pissed him off. Comments about his beloved hero.

What kinks do both of them have?

Well they are both into some amount of bdsm. But usually rather vanilla stuff like handcuffs, rope and blindfolds. Drac is also into wearing nipple clamps on occasion. Edmont is into a bit of wax play so candles are easily accessible in their bed chambers. Drac is also very into asphyxiation from time to time, being on the receiving end. Some role-playing is definitely something they are both into. There may be other ones that may not count as full on kinks but at least preferences and general turn-ons... But eh. Drac absolutely loves getting bitten and nibbled on and will often ask to be marked. Especially when he knows he will be going off somewhere for a while, so he can admire his beloved's work in the mirror when he misses him. Drac enjoys it when Edmont is possessive with him when they are intimate and Edmont loves pleasing his lizard.

Edmont will mainly nip and bite Drac in the neck (which is Drac's fave place to be bitten), leaving teeth indents and hickeys there while also making sure to kiss and lick circles around them to soothe any pain. Sometimes he also does it to Drac's thighs, butt cheeks or arms as well.

There are also other types of markings they enjoy..

Like for example they both enjoy seeing the rope marks on each other's bodies after either of them have been tied up.

Drac will often end up scratching up Edmont's back unintentionally. The sight of the little scratches tend to both make Drac feel sorry and a bit excited. Edmont certainly does not seem to mind. Neither does he mind when his beloved's scales, horns or tail leave temporary indents on his body. 😊

You've probably answered this before, but have Drac and Edmont ever been caught doing something naughty by the boys? If so, what/where? ^.^

It is for the most part rare for them to end up in situations where they could be found by the lads. After almost getting caught once by Emmanellain, they made sure to always double check that the door was in fact locked. That boi certainly forgets his manners sometimes. Luckily Edmont managed to remain rather calm, albeit flushed and a bit sweaty as he sat in his office with a lizard kneeled down between his legs. Drac on the other hand had to bite his lower lip hard and hold onto his tail in order to not make any noises or be seen. So Emmanellain was none the wiser and ended up getting scolded for not knocking in the end. 😅

Once the cat's out of the bag the lads mainly just catch them being sickly sweet lovebirds and leave them alone in embarrassment. 😊

They have had a lot more instances where they were almost caught by staff or another noble however. Especially Count Charlemend who has always had this rivalry with Edmont and is therefore quite nosy. Thancred once did catch them, Firmien (the steward) did as well.

Let me just also point out that Drac being able to breathe underwater has proved rather helpful at times. 😂

For Sinday: Does Drac and Edmont roleplay in the bedroom?

On occasion! But it is usually pretty rare. It is mainly pretty goofy but that's the beauty with sex, it is supposed to be fun and sometimes it is enough that you got to share an intimate moment and a good laugh with your partner. Drac is an absolute sucker for dad jokes so if they do end up role-playing you best believe it will be puntastic and filthy at the same time. 😂

Edmont is especially good at playing a bioligy professor... Who happens to be smitten with the somewhat younger, new art teacher. 😏😳

Going off the Sinday post, I gotta ask. It's a classic question, but who tops?

Honestly they are both verse/switches so it depends on their mood and the day etc... Drac is more prone to initiating sexual activities. Or at least hint at wanting to have fun. But that does not mean they don't take turns with it. Initially I would say Edmont did it more, as he was quite new to certain experiences. But he was more than willing to try new things, once they figured out the kinks... (No, I will not apologize for this pun) 😂😊
