Santosh College of Nursing organized its First International Conference on 23rd November 2024. It was held during Newborn Week with the theme "Safety, Quality, and Nurturing Care – A Birthright of Every Newborn." The event took place in Maharaja Hall from 8 AM to 6 PM.
There were 7 international speakers: Ms. Jayasree Gopalakrishnan, RN, Carlsbad Medical Centre, USA; Mrs. Thanalakshmi C, RN, Residenza Sanitaria Assistenziale, Italy; Ms. Karpagavalli Naveen, RN, MOH, Almahad General Hospital, Saudi Arabia; Dr. Lakshmi Raju, Head Nurse, Al Jumailiya Health Centre, PHC, Qatar; Ms. Vartika Sharma Fageria, RN, Cygnet Hospital, UK; Mr. Sugin VL, RN, Master Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland; and Ms. Jane Paulmoney, RN, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, Ireland.
Three guest speakers from Santosh Medical College and Hospital, Ghaziabad, included Dr. Alka Agarwal, Professor, Department of Paediatrics; Dr. Manisha Gupta, HOD, OBG Department; and five nursing faculty members from Santosh College of Nursing. Mrs. Preethi Charles, NS, Narendra Mohan Hospital, Ghaziabad, also contributed to the event.
The Chief Organizer of the program was Prof. Ms. Rajeshwari Jeyaraj, Principal of Santosh CON. The Organizing Secretaries were Ms. Mahila VL, Professor; Ms. Bhuvanya T, Associate Professor; and Ms. Shilpa, Assistant Professor. The Coordinators were Ms. Aradhna and Ms. Priyanka, Deans and Assistant Professors.
The inauguration program was conducted at 9:30 AM, and the program validation took place from 5 PM to 6 PM. The sessions were very beneficial to the students and helped them gain knowledge on all topics that were presented.

SYNOPSIS
Sanjana, played by Tabu is a positive and vivacious girl and happily married. Unfortunately her happiness is taken away when her husband dies. She then is left to fend for herself and thus moves out of the city as she cannot afford to stay there. She then moves to the hillside where she still doesn’t get peace. Strange things keep happening in the house. One day Sanjana gets raped by an invisible entity and she is horrified and disturbed. Worst is when her dog too gets possessed by an evil spirit and attacks her as well as her younger brother.
Later on Sanjana comes to know the truth of the demons. She learns that an old well exists nearby where criminals were pushed inside as punishment and killed. Due to lightning striking the well, the evil spirits escape and begin to torment Sanjana. The movie is directed and produced by Guddu Dhanoa and Santosh Dhanoa. The music is composed by Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen and Surendra Singh Sodhi. The cinematography is by Sripad Natu.

COMPLAINT FOR MALICIOUS PROSECUTION AND DEFAMATION BY BAGLA FAMILY, AGAINST KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK AND OTHERS INCLUDING UDAY SURESH KOTAK AND ANAND MAHINDRA.
The PMO had directed the Secretary, Department of Financial Services (Banking Division) for action as appropriate in the matter of complaint against Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, its MD & CEO Mr. Uday S. Kotak and other senior officials for alleging conspiracy, fraud and forgery of some documents. [Ref: Replies dated 03/09/2019 and 04/09/2019 from PMO with Registration No. PMOPG/D/2019/0318007 & PMOPG/D/2019/ 0320812] It has been alleged in the complaint that the officials of the Bank in collusion and in connivance with each other, hatched a conspiracy and forged and fabricated documents including one affidavit and a power of attorney which were alleged to have been executed by one of the Bagla’s family member i.e. Mr. Bhupendra Bagla for mortgaging leased property against a unsecured loan and on the basis of which the Bank initiated recovery proceeding before the Ld. DRT. Later on an FIR No. 0120/2019 dated 19/10/2019 has been registered at PS Barakhamba Road, New Delhi against Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd and six other accused including Mr. Uday S. Kotak, MD & CEO, for their role in a scam of forgery of documents vide order dated 14.10.2019 of MM Patiala House Courts, New Delhi who has taken view that as matter requires investigation by police, several documents are to be collected and verified and number of persons are to be examined. After registration of the said FIR for committing fraud and forgery by Kotak Mahindra Bank and others including Uday S. Kotak and Anand Mahindra, Bagla family has also filed a complaint with the Court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, New Delhi, under Section 200 r/w 190 Cr. P.C. for taking cognizance of offences Committed U/s 211 (IInd Part), 499/500, 501, 502 r/w 120B/34 IPC, against Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd & others. In the complaint apart from one Virendra Kumar Sharma, Kotak Mahindra Bank and its Directors & Company Secretary and other officers namely Mr. Uday Suresh Kotak, Managing Director, The Regional Manager, Kotak Bank (Delhi & NCR), Mr. Anand Mahindra, Mr. Shivaji Dam, Mr. Chengalath Jayram, Dipak Gupta, Ms. Bina Chandarana, Company Secretary, Mr. Chandra Shekhar Prasad (The Then Deputy Manager, Legal), Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Officer, Kotak Bank and CVIL Infra Limited and Bennett Coleman & Company Ltd., were made accused. It has been alleged in the complaint that the above named accused in connivance with the each other, falsely implicated one Bhupendra Bagla son of Dr. Santosh Kumar Bagla (a renowned business family based at Mumbai & Delhi) in a criminal case by using forged and fabricated documents created and used by the above named accused. It has been further alleged in the complaint that the averments made by the accused in this regard has resulted in multiple litigations and publication, which are public documents and due to such malicious publication and false allegations, the reputation of complainant and Dr. Bagla’s family, got tarnished in the eyes of their friends, employees, business relations etc. It has been also alleged that the credibility built by the Complainant over a span of time, has been shattered due to leveling the false, frivolous, fictitious and baseless allegations against the complainant. The Court has been prayed to take cognizance of the matter and also prayed to punish the named accused as per law. The matter was listed before the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi wherein the Court has directed the complainant to file certified copies of the judicial record as relied upon and FIR lodged on the complaint of the accused, before the next date of hearing.

Santosh Deemed to be University organized a yoga session on the occasion of International Yoga Day Celebration on 21st June 2022, Tuesday at Santosh Hospital. The session started at 6.45 am in the morning and continued till 7.45 am followed by the National Anthem.The event was started by the welcome speech given by Dr. Shalabh Gupta (Dean Academics) in which he enlightened the theme of the year 2022 “YOGA FOR HUMANITY” implying that Yoga should be encouraged as it brings physical, mental and spiritual wellness in the human body and mind. The session was held in collaboration with Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan and demonstrated various Yoga asana and forms of Pranayam to the Faculty members, staff and students of Santosh Deemed to be University. The session was very enlightening and soothing filling mind and body with the words of knowledge by Yog Acharya in the manner describing the usefulness of each mudra for the various parts of the body and prevents organ diseases. A well explained and enthusiastic session started with warm up with mudras, followed by Surya Namaskar and ended with Shanti paath. More than 70 students,staff members and faculty members enjoyed and benefits of the session. The session ended with words of enlightenment delivered by Dr. Tripta Bhagat (Vice Chancellor), Dr. Alpana Agrawal (Registrar) and Dr. Alka Agrawal (Dean Medical). The Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Dakshina Bisht (Director IQAC). Overall it was a session full of knowledge and the gathering was rejuvenated ,enthusiastic and motivated to add yoga in their daily routine.
