SO... this takes a little bit of explaining... but essentially this is just a smaller comic to take a break from a bigger comic

some context is needed, so i'll stuff that under the cut

first of all, this is loosely based on the light novel written by hakuyoku123, where Mad Dog, Lei, and Cube all visit the Near Future because Science™, and combat the return of Dr. Livingstill.

second of all, this was further elaborated upon by some friends after an experience i had from work:

So one night at work (I work as a cashier), I was helping one of our customers log into our app (which is notoriously difficult because it's buggy as hell, and a lot of our customers are older folks who struggle with technology)

She's a sweet old lady, maybe 60 or 70. And when I go to check her phone screen to see how I can help, the email address she entered was "maddogkiller @ whatevermail . com (obv it's not actually "whatever", just a placeholder so as to not post her real address)

I found this hilarious for obvious reasons, and when I told some of my friends about it, one of them joked that this was the Matron's email address, and that the Matron thought Mad Dog was attractive while he was in the Near Future.

One time when I was young, during Tanabata, my father and I met up with with a scary coworker of his… he seemed hesitant to talk about his wishes.

Years later, I check, and I find his wish was to continue working with my father for the rest of his life.
