» This is childhood «

The work is based on Sigmund Freud’s theory of the aesthetic perception of children in forms and colors. Generation of shapes and colors from parts of the childhood memories of the grandmother from the Second World War. The movement of the original drawing are traced on transparent paper with the determined form- and colorcatalog.  Overlaying of the newly created illustrations with the drawings.

» Monarch Butterfly « Illustrated book about the North American monarch butterfly. Every year the butterfly flies from Mexico to Canada and back again. During this 4000-kilometer journey four generations emerge. The return of the monarch butterfly to Mexico is a spiritual event for the Mazahuas.

» Der Sandmann « Literary and visual analysis of the short story ‚The Sandman' by E.T.A. Hoffmann.

A color is attributed to each main character and each relevant motif. The resulting colorcode functions as a legend for the viewer. The relationship between the persons and motifs is visualized by colored forms, which are created by adding the colorfields together. The textual and sensually emotional parameters bring the short story ‚The Sandman' to a visual level. The paintings on the book pages were created by connecting the coordinates of the characters and by layering these on top of each other.   The wall installation of the painted book pages ist the analogous and artistic part of the work. The magazine on the other hand, forms the scientific approach with the presentation of the chronology and the structure of the book, and as well with its digital graphics.

» Margarete « Collages of fabric and photography, documenting the work of the tailoress Margarete.

The Photographs showing the villagers of Echzell from the years 1950 - 1970, wearing the clothes of the tailoress Margarete. The stillness of the photograph and the fixed movement are resolved by adding the fabric collages. The fabrics are the same clothes, which are worn in the photography.

» Wunderkammer der Erinnerung «

The aim of this work is the collection, visualization, preservation and mediation of memories by using the recyclable material paper. Written collection of different memories. Assignment of a trigger object, color, shape and haptic by the narrator to their memories. Creation of an individual paper construct from different shapes and colors for every memory.

» Weinaroma / Winearoma « Visual depiction of wine flavours. 

Creating a catalogue of the different flavours by defining form, movement and structure. Analysis of the taste of wine by several test persons. Creative implementation of the taste perceptions in the form of flavour-collages.
