I Want to End the "I Love You" Game
Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai / I Want to End the Game of Love
Yuuki Doumoto
comedy, romance, school life, childhood friends
27 chapters (ongoing)
“Childhood friends who've been together forever since they were little. Although they've noticed their feelings for each other, they're too close to be honest. What links them is the "I love you game" they have been playing since they were little. The conclusion to their love has been entrusted to this petty game, where winning means making the other person feel embarrassed.”
(resume from Shogakukan)
Story: 9/10
Slow burn and childhood friends, two of my favorite tropes, I can only enjoy! (Well it’s not really slow burn but it felt like one to me). I had great expectations when reading it and honestly the manga left me speechless. I think it’s my favorite romance so far. I've really enjoyed every chapter and every moment, I really loved the whole teasing thing, it was really cute, and the game doesn't seem silly or awkward at all.
Cast: 10/10
Most likely one of my favorite couple in a romance manga. I'm so fond of their dynamic. They really love each other and they try to be better people for each other it's just adorable. They look so lovely! We can see their evolution through the relationship and the game, it’s really satisfying to see them together.
Art: 9/10
I gave a 9/10 because it's not my favorite kind of art style, but it still looks great. The color pages were like anime screenshots and I think if the manga ever gets animated someday it would turn out very well. There’s a lot of potential.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I enjoyed every minute of my reading. I was really sad when I got up to date but I'm looking forward to the next chapter when it comes out, as it is definitely a manga on which I will try to stay up to date. It was so fun, I laughed a lot because some scenes were really funny. I kicked my feet and screamed into my pillow multiple times and I just had a really good time. I will definitely recommend this manga to people around me.
Overall: 10/10

Manga Review: Necromance Vol 2 by Yuuki Doumoto
It's Monday, and that means it is time for another manga review...Welcome back to Manga Monday. Let's talk more Necromance!
Hey all, Sam here. Just a few more days until my mom is in town. I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve been doing a little bit of tidying up around the house, and David and I have been doing a little work repairing the screen on the front porch and also putting together a porch swing. It’s a small change but it has made a big difference for our house. Anyway, welcome back to another Manga Monday…
