Hey, I really wanna write for König and Nikto but I don't like writing characters without getting a feel for them. So I read their wiki pages but I want to see them in game. Are there any campaigns they're part of where they have longer screen time because I like watching people play cod like a movie? I might be stupid but I haven't really found anything.

When I sign my emails off with "Warmest regards" I hope everyone knows i don't mean it in the "cozy fireplace in a wooden cabin" way nonono! I mean it in the "collapsing into your bed after a long day" way. The "gentle hand on your shoulder when you're about to Fucking Loose It that reminds you how to breathe" way. The " warm towel fresh from the dryer after a shower" way. The "I don't know you but from the most genuine molecule of my being I love you" way.

want you all to know there is a funhouse mirror version of my crozier dies fic in my mind which goes like. noir au. little is the overworked, constantly stressed pi trying to solve the mystery of francis crozier's untimely death, a man he himself had an unresolved past with. jopson is crozier's much younger, very guarded widower who everyone suspects but who is actually innocent and genuinely loved crozier. and most importantly prominent secondary character billy gibson is jopson's best friend who is one hundred percent convinved jopson did it and one hundred percent supports his decision to off his husband. again something jopson did not in fact do

pet peeve is when a story tells us something is aberrant, but it seems to matter more about who does the behavior than the behavior itself. rorschach in snyder's watchmen isn't going too far; we watch nite owl and silk spectre ii snap necks and arms with gleeful, loving abandon, in slow motion no less, while they lecture the audience about rorschach's violence. heroes frequently torture the plot contrivance out of a villain and then moralize to the camera when the villains do the same. indominus rex's killing spree doesn't shock or appall me; all the jurassic world dinosaurs act like mindless killing machines, and the camera lingers, rapturous, on their cruelty. it's not an outlier. there's nothing interesting about it beyond as a set piece.

in a better script, the indominus rex would have had pathos; a chimera made for entertainment, for profit, stitched together with no regard for itself and placed in a lonely box. a freak among freaks. of course it would be mad. but the film wasn't interested in it as an animal, or a character, only as a moving piece of scenery for people to scream at or breathe tensely while it can clearly smell and reach them but doesn't, because it isn't a character and doesn't have motivations.

it's just sort of boring, i suppose. it tries like all other empty drab things do to cover it with bombast and roaring and soaring brassy scores but it's just sort of dull. a sprawl of nothing.

conversely peele's nope is a transcendent monster movie, imo, because it thinks about the the whys and hows, how jean jacket perceives the world, how the world perceives her, and lets that shape the narrative as much as jupe or emerald or gordy. they consulted biologists and behaviorists, digging into the meat of it. the creature as a camera as an animal as a device. nope has layers. it takes its own insane premise seriously, and has something to say, and is a goddamn good movie. i forgot where i was going with this.

Hear me out. Halston Balestrom.

My own personal biases make me struggle to say this is a hear me out, as Halston is an incredibly dapper living embodiment of charm! However, he is strange and unusual enough in design, and has a specific frog:human ratio landing him in an uncomfortable valley for some! Not only that but he's beloved by all in a more wholesome way, being everyone's quirky little guy, adding a bit more stigma to saying you like him romantically/sexually! This, class, is a hear me out! Due to the combination of canon personality, appearance, and general community feelings, this is an interest that requires explanation! Said required explanation being the entire original purpose of "hear me out"! Excellent work!

I am going to need your explanation though, despite seeing how some could find him attractive I'm charmed by him in a platonic way. I will be expecting a written explanation of why Halston has created a storm in your heart by the week's end.
