My Get Smart ships

Max/99 obviously

Max/Hymie (it’s never stated that he loves Max in more than a platonic way, due to the time Get Smart takes place that would probably be a bad idea, jeopardizing if not both of them than Hymie for sure. I am of the firm opinion that Max/Hymie is canon as much as it can be, it’s just that it’s unrequited love on Hymie’s part.)

Max/Siegfried do I even need to explain why? Just look at them.

Starker/Larabee no reason other than I think it’s funny.

#get smart #fun fact Siegfried’s first name is apparently Conrad #which I didn’t know until I double checked the internet to see if I was spelling his name right #conrad #huh #anyways yeah the only thing that stopped them from becoming a thing was that they are technically sworn enemies #also max is fun and all but 99 could do better #kinda casually rewatching the show and I’m not surprised per say but yeah #it’s even more sexist than I remember #just as racist as I remember though #like oh boy there is some stuff that makes me deeply uncomfortable #asides from that it’s a fun show though #I grew up watching it and it is hilarious (the parts that aren’t sexist or racist)#and the stereotyping and stuff tends to be isolated to a few episodes #like it isn’t everywhere but there are som episodes it might be a good idea to skip #anyways yeah #Don Adams had amazing comiedic timing #and the chemistry with most of the cast wa spretty good #…..#yeah that second part probably could’ve been a separate post but whatever #s watches shows
