Don’t you just love it when ya got an oc but can’t draw them? (Trust me I tried brain screamed into the ether, gotta love autism TvT) Aaanyway I’ll just jot the info down here and if anyone ever decides to draw them… I’ll praise you. Probably try doing a gift doodle in return knowing me.

Say hello to my Smiling Critters OC (name pending)skunk!:

-Pendant is a tomato or a tomato blossom, often wears flower crowns and weaves them into her big floofy tail. Her plushe would smell like cut grass I think.

-Her focus and interests include gardening and nature tho her trope is disabilities that aren’t obvious but are still life altering (IBS being an uncommon example) with her spraying problems being her issue.

-Her home looks like a tree stump with a garden full of tomato plants that crawl up the sides, she also has a greenhouse tho it’s for the cooler months. Flowers are often kept around the inside.

-Personality is notably shy but sweet wanting to interact and make friends badly tho is scared/tired of getting her feelings hurt or offending others. Is very focused on her cleanliness and has a tendency to talk to her plants. Loves to gift people tomatoes both to enjoy as a treat like she does (babygirl noms them like apples and knows quite a few recipes) and to help remove any messes she causes.

I like to think of her as a newcomer who over time sorta bridges the gap between the smiling and nightmare groups. Friendly but doesn’t fit in well even with the appreciated efforts of those who willingly try.

Met Dogday first after moving in, can imagine a keen nosed dog opening a door to find a skunk. He did his best to be polite and welcoming to them but had to cut the visit short for obvious reasons.

Met Hoppy second during one of her games finding them working in their garden, offered to have them join her game but had politely declined upon learning other’s planned on joining too (a mix of shyness and anxiety after Dogday’s reaction.) Does gift her some tomatoes as a snack receiving praise. She still occasionally tries to include them with the closest being watching from a distance.

Met Bobby and Crafty while watching one of Happy’s games Bobby hugging them before realizing but thankfully everything is fine. Crafty gifts them some art supplies and the pair draw n chat together sometimes.

Met Kickin and Picky when Dogday introduces them (He had tried bringing her over to meet everyone at once but she declined) Picky is fascinated by the other’s fondness for gardening and tomatoes while Kickin is a bit blunt about her scent issue not making the best first introduction. He later apologizes… from a distance.

Met Bubba when he comes over curios about her situation and end up trading knowledge. She enjoys when he comes over during her hangouts with Crafty or when watching games being the one who didn’t mind when he rambled on. Sometimes hangs outside his house when she tries to come visit only to wuss out.

Met Catnap formally during a time when she was having a bad night aka not having the best mental health. She’s known of him but he tended to just exist in the background or had a quite role in things. Only person to not mention or react much to her issue which is greatly appreciated and while he still isn’t chatty talking to him is nicer than talking to her plants. Can’t help but feel a bit nervous when he just shows up out of nowhere or just stares like a statue.
