Not mentioned until now, but never forgotten – Lucky is the true catalyst that brought Infinite Hearts Dog Sanctuary to life. His story is one of heartbreak, resilience, and ultimately, hope. Lucky wasn’t just another rescue; he was the spark that ignited our mission and changed everything.

We first met Lucky in a moment of chance – or perhaps fate. He was wandering, thin and exhausted, with eyes that told a story of hardship yet held onto a flicker of trust. Something about him tugged at our hearts. We couldn't turn away. Bringing him in wasn’t just about providing shelter; it felt like a calling.

As Lucky settled into his new home, his transformation became the driving force behind what would eventually become Infinite Hearts Dog Sanctuary. His gentle nature, unwavering loyalty, and quiet strength reminded us that every dog deserves love, care, and a place to call home. Through him, we saw the importance of standing up for those without a voice, and Lucky became our guiding light as we opened our doors to others in need.

Though Lucky may not have been mentioned before, he’s the foundation of everything we do. His paw prints are embedded in every rescue, every adoption, and every happy tail wag at Infinite Hearts.

As the warm months approach, we’re gearing up to welcome campers, dog lovers, and adventure seekers to Infinite Hearts Retreat – our soon-to-open, dog-friendly campground nestled in the heart of Statesville, NC. With a mission to create a sanctuary for pets and their owners, we’re crafting a unique outdoor experience that celebrates the bond between humans and their four-legged companions.

Why Infinite Hearts Retreat?

At Infinite Hearts Retreat, we believe camping is better with dogs. Our 5-acre property is designed with both two-legged and four-legged guests in mind. Each of our six tent camping spots is named after one of our beloved dogs, adding a personal and playful touch to the experience.

Jolene’s Junction (XL Site): Inspired by our Great Dane Jolene, this spacious site is perfect for large groups or families with multiple dogs.

The Dog House: A cozy, fun spot for those who love the idea of sleeping under the stars with their best friend by their side.

Lucky & Romeo's Pit Stop: A laid-back site for a restful break, inspired by our dynamic duo.

Pepe Patch: A charming, playful site named after our Pomsky, Pepe.

What to Expect

No Pet Fees: Unlike many campgrounds, we don’t believe in charging extra for your furry friends. Dogs are part of the family here at Infinite Hearts Retreat.

Dog-Centric Activities: From fenced play areas to hiking trails, your pup will have plenty of space to roam and explore. We’re also planning events like “Doggie Day Out” weekends, featuring agility courses, dog treat stations, and even pup-friendly scavenger hunts.

Pet Safety First: With extra fencing, a thorough property survey, and secure boundaries, your dogs can enjoy the retreat safely.

Campground Amenities: In addition to dog-friendly features, we’re working on adding picnic tables, fire pits, and comfortable spaces to relax. Our on-site store will stock essentials and local treats for both humans and dogs.

We are so excited to welcome Roxxy, a beautiful 10-year-old senior who has officially joined our family at Infinite Hearts Dog Sanctuary. Roxxy’s story is one of resilience, hope, and love – and we can’t wait to share her journey with all of you.

Roxxy was found wandering the streets, alone and without a collar or any form of identification. Despite efforts to locate her family, no one ever came forward to claim her. Days passed, and it became clear that Roxxy had no one searching for her. But fate has a funny way of working things out, and it led her right to us. From the moment we met Roxxy, we knew she belonged here. Her gentle eyes and kind spirit captured our hearts, and we vowed to give her the love, care, and safety she deserves for the rest of her days.

Roxxy may have had a rough start, but her golden years will be filled with comfort, belly rubs, and the companionship of our sanctuary pack. She’s already settling in, finding her favorite sunspots, and discovering the joy of being part of a family once again. There’s something so special about senior dogs – the quiet wisdom they carry, the patience they teach us, and the unconditional love they so freely give. Roxxy embodies all of this and more.

For now, Roxxy will be our final resident at Infinite Hearts Dog Sanctuary, as we focus on providing the best care for our current crew. But don’t worry – we’ll keep you updated on Roxxy’s progress as she continues to bloom in her new forever home.
