Hey, look! It's the best- I mean- my favorite Tombsona, Doc!

So this is my fourth year of carving Doc! Since TLT has been on tour, I figured that IRL/concert Doc could use some love and appreciation! The photos are a bit low quality sorry, my phone camera is ass lmfao (more details below the divide)

I think this turned out pretty good! This took about 4-5 days of on-off carving (my 2 y/o niece stayed overnight so I couldn't work much on day 3, which sucked lmao). Instead of it being so cold that my fingers went numb, it was so hot that I was sweating and the pumpkin began to rot much faster because of the heat (despite being in a garage that was on the "colder" side comparatively). Certain parts of the pumpkin, like (the viewer's) left arm, were really hard to do because of how soft the flesh had gotten lmao. Also the "follow-me eyes" were completely on accident but I think they look kinda neat!

I had planned on doing a white pumpkin but the one I got was way too small so I didn't know what to do with it so I free-handed a drawing of Zero_One's skull and carved it in like 20-30 mins lmao

It's not great but whatever lmao- Anyways here's some WIP photos of Doc's pumpkin!

So I went a bit too overboard with the poking and that's what ended up happening to my stencil- it disintegrated and parts of it ended up inside the holes (which were a bitch to get out btw lmao). I had also not decided that I was going to leave the skull solid so I poked that outline out as well, so that kinda fucked that up lmao.

Here's the reference photo! Even after asking on both the TLT Discord and on Twitter, I only have around 9 IRL Doc photos; two of which I already had saved before asking lmao. I really hope we get some more photos at some point because the costumes are really fucking cool-- Doc's especially (even putting aside my bias- I mean-- they have a skirt and a rope belt- and punk thigh spike things! It's so so cool and I want some better photos goddamnit-! >;[

Oh-! Also here's the past 3 pumpkins ('22 got messed up cause it froze lmao)

No idea how I'm gonna up the anti next year besides getting a white one and adding color- which isn't that big of a deal; so we shall see (I had teased about doing a Pro + Doc photo for this year but I never got around to making that stencil plus, as stated above, IRL/concert Doc needs some more attention goddamnit lmao) I think that's all lmao Hope y'all enjoy

i’ve been a fan of the living tombstone’s music for around 10 years & just saw them live last week! the show was amazing. however i am beginning to hyperfixate on their characters, the tombsonas, but i know very little about them. i like them a lot because they bring me the same happiness the automaton characters of steam powered giraffe do. :)

if any TLT fandom here on tumblr wants to work their magic & hook me up with any lore, i’d mega appreciate it!!

ive always like said to friends that tesla and zero_one can’t swim because 1, tesla has all the electrical currents keeping them alive (tbh they’re probably waterproof but still they r prob careful and avoid water LOL) and zero_one is like digital/i feel like they just don’t know how to swim LMAO

armstrong probably never swims either for obvious reasons🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

ALSO people should totally talk about how zero_one can kinda shapeshift more because it is SO COOL!!! like they had the computer head in scaring doc, and the LASER CANON HAND THING!!!!! it’s so cool and ppl should talk about it more!!!!
