For the past couple of years, he’s been handler for an inter-agency team set up to gather evidence against the notorious international crime syndicate boss Jeffrey Richards and his gang. All that sounds fine and dandy - but one agent in particular, CIA super spy Alex Claremont-Diaz, drives H completely nuts. And makes him feel like his entire body is going up in flames, besides. Alex has a very cinematic, action-thriller idea of what his job should be. He is charismatic and drop-dead gorgeous; causes Henry’s poor gay heart - and another prominent organ - to perk up like never before. Whispers in the Snow

The Four Loves Theory (aka The Love Game)

The Curious Case of the Sabotaging Wingman

by Djokodal_Fan Henry has been hopelessly in love with his best friend as long as he can remember. While Alex and he are as close as ever, it hurts seeing him flit from one gorgeous girl to another; an assembly line of dates which never seem to last all that long. When Alex's inevitable breakup happens after at most a couple months of dating; Henry, as Alex's best friend, confidante and bedrock of support, is there to help him through his brief periods of moping. Until it's back to the rinse repeat cycle again. This goes on until Bea is fed up seeing her brother intensely pining over his best friend. She insists that Henry go out on dates, to at least try and get over Alex. Though Henry isn't really sure it would do any good, he gives in to Bea's insistence. Which is when Alex unexpectedly leaps in, insisting that he accompany Henry as his wingman. Nothing dissuades him from his determination to fulfil this role. Funnily enough, though, Alex's interventions seem to have the opposite effect of what a wingman is customarily supposed to do. Red Earth and Pouring Rain

The battle royale between two behemoths: Mountchristen Corp., helmed by Company President, Mary Mountchristen; and Claremont Industries, headed by CEO, Ellen Claremont. The Mountchristen versus Claremont feud goes back a century and a half, and their mutual animosity has lasted well into the present day. Alex Claremont-Diaz, however, could not care less. His 10-year plan is set already. After college, he would plunge into the grinding rigors of Law School, to hopefully become one of the leading civil rights lawyers. To keep his Mom mollified, though; he does accompany her to a few corporate shindigs she insists on. It’s at one such event that he meets Henry Fox. Henry is on a year of foreign study from Oxford, coincidentally also heading to Georgetown. Setting Fire to Water

I can think of one where you’d be- well, I don’t know, the First Son of the United States or something...” Alex guffaws at that. “Well, in that Universe, you would undoubtedly be a Prince of the United Kingdom, your Majesty,” he drawls, only for Henry to tickle him mercilessly and almost make him topple over into the campfire. “As I was saying,” laughs Henry, “I think for every Universe, there’s a version of me that meets a version of you. Maybe in one, we’re childhood friends and swim teammates who fall in Love. Maybe in another, we’re actors who had a misunderstanding, but fall in Love when we star opposite each other.
