aside from the ones you own, what's your favorite pokemon of each type?

Oh arc. Off the top of my head? I gotta think. Um.

Bug- Surskits are cute lil guys. Shoutouts to Weedle and Snom tho.

Electric- I like Raichu and the Pawmi line. They look so squishy and huggable.

Flying- uhhhhhh probably the Pidgey line? Theyre pretty cool.

Dragon- DRATINI LINE! But I also really like the Trapinch line.

Fire- Rapidash are pretty but also I've also wanted a Cyndaquil. Theyre so frickin cute.

Water- Squirtle line, especially Wartortle. Gotta love turbles.

Psychic- Abra, BUT Chimecho are cute too.

Ground- SANDSHREW SANDSHREW SANDSHREW SANDSH-

Ghost- Gengar! Funky mischievous fellas, and so round.

Fairy- Cant go wrong with Mimikyu, but i also like Togepi.

Grass- um. I guess. Sawsbuck, maybe?

Poison- Toxtricity and Obstagoon.

Dark- ZORUA. But if my fursona doesnt count I also really like Nickit and Thievul.

Rock- That Nacli thing that was discovered in Paldea is pretty funky. Before that tho, probably Rockruff.

Normal- Delcatty and Purugly. Love me some catmons.

Fighting- if Stufful doesnt count since i have experience with it, Jangmo-o. Theyre just so cool. (I would say Pawmi line but ive already mentioned them on here).

Ice- Call me basic but Alolan Vulpix. Theyre too damn cute. I also like Lapras, very pretty mons.

Steel- Bisharp line! Swords :)

A DAY AS A STUDENT BLOGGER AND TRAVELER IN CATMON STA MARIA,BULACAN

I decided to go out first to meditate and have fun because of the amount of work, 3:00 in the afternoon when I started to wander everywhere with my motorcycle, who wouldn't want to wander of course we all need that as a I live as a person, I really wander even when I don't have a motorcycle and I will really find a way to get away HAHAHAHA because in my wandering I see a lot and discover more in the surroundings or even in the world and because of my wanderlust I reached 6 o'clock in the evening on the road without realizing it because of so much fun and so much deliciousness 🤣🤣!!!

And during the long journey HAHAHAHA, I went to our little church that has been standing for almost 20 years, this is where I was baptized and this is where I grew up, I didn't exactly grow up in the church, because that's how HAHAHA since I was young my parents made me aware parents to go to church every week, grow up with the fear of God, always be thankful every day for the blessings given and a new day of life. And when I grew up, it was sad because I didn't go to church much because of the amount of work , I don't pay attention anymore and I still don't know how to forget and recognize God even though sometimes I didn't go to church, I am very grateful for every day, every year, at first it was old but in the long run has beautified and fully preserved our church with each other's cooperation.

and on my last trip it was this wandering HAHAHAHA, I ended up at a milk tea house called "BIG BREW" I often hung out there by myself or with my cousins ​​or classmates when we had time, the milk tea here has different flavors that you can buy for your drink, it only costs 29-39 pesos, it's really affordable, so apart from being cheap, you'll be able to repeat it because it's so delicious, that's why HAHAHAHA charott, it's located here in Catmon and besides that, it's very kind of the staff, they are very hospitable so no matter what day or time you come back and you really will come back, they are open from 8 in the morning to 9 at night, very satisfying and I have nothing to say, it was built just when and the beauty of it is always there young people flocked to hang out and to buy, and that's all I can tell you, thank you very much, goodbye👋!!!

In Baltimore County, MD: Over CATpacity! 6 Cats with Wounds Need Rescue ASAP!

Baltimore County Animal Services currently has 6 cats with wounds of unknown origin in our shelter that we need help placing ASAP. All cats need to be quarantined for 120 days from the date their wounds were discovered. Fosters for rescues would need to be approved by their county’s rabies investigator.

HERE IS ONE: Catmon is a 1 year old active guy that can’t wait for his quarantine to be over. He seeks attention and likes to play. His quarantine would be up 10/13/23.

If you are interested in pulling any of these cats or have any questions please let me know! Any not currently altered would be altered prior to leaving our shelter.

DISCOVER CATMON CEBU PHILIPPINES

A Bit About Mt. Kapayas

Locally known as Lantawan, Mt. Kapayas gains its reputation of being one of the toughest mountains to hike in Cebu. Although you’ll find its location on Google map in Carmen, it is part of the Municipality of Catmon. Its summit stands at (780 meters above sea level), offering a stunning panorama of mountain ranges as per our guide.

According to my guide, they named it Mt. KAPAYAS because that's only tree spotted in the area on their eyes the first time they visit on this peak (Cebuano term for papaya).It is named “Lantawan” or "Anislag Peak" (Cebuano for a structure or spot with greater height and massive horizon) because of its towering height at the peak.

According to stories told by locals, Mt. Kapayas became a hiding place of the renowned General Arcadio Maxilom during the World War II.

Mt. KAPAYAS has it gives an astounding 360 degrees view of the nearby mountain ranges in Carmen, Tuburan, and Danao. Prior to summiting Mt. Kapayas, it is encouraged to settle the permits from the town proper so as to orient the locals and mountain rangers about your entry.

Friendly Tip: It would be better to contact a guide or anyone from the tourism office for your pre-registration to reserve your slot since hikers/campers allowed are limited in number.

As mentioned, you have to secure permits from the municipal hall before hiking Mt. Kapayas for your safety.

From Catmon, you have to hire a habal-habal or multi-cab to bring you to the jump-off site, Sitio Kampanya. From there, you begin the hike going to the campsite in Sitio Lumanoy and to the peak.

This is the campsite are, during my visit I cannot have a chance to do camping since I had only a one day tour.

The rock-climbing part towards the peak of that journey was fun especially when you’re a nice guide like kuya Carling kidding around the slopes and trails in the wild. The view from the top is breathtaking. Embracing the breeze and everything you see around you is very fulfilling, worth the sweat we shed along the way.

Friendly Reminder: Leave No Trace, the principles all the time wherever we may go. By the way, you can reach the summit like an hour or less than from jump-off, depending on your pacing.

Mt. Kapayas adventure came to reality. I would love to go back when given the chance. Thank you Kuya Carling for the safe trek throughout this journey. It was an awesome adventure for me. Until my next one.🙏😘🤙🇵🇭

A place at peace: " Discover Catmon"

Lookin to the same sky at different location, Goin out or sneaking when time strikes and indicates a beau phenomena. chasing sunsets/ sunrise will always be worth it than chasing people tell you your worthless.     Sunrise and Sunset will always be my favorite spectacle that my naked eye  can't repel. I've been to places but I never picture myself sitting while watching my favorite attractionwith amusement at my hometown.   Catmon, Cebu.   Catmon located at the northern part of Cebu. A place where rich of hospitable people are and of course rich of undiscover mountain views and falls. Catmon mountains are very accesseble even your on your motorcycle or a private vehicles or even when your in your bicycle(whatever your trip is). Picture was taken morning after the night full of laughters and thoughs. Imagine, no wifi connection means no internet and of course the best part is no mobile connection but well, we wont forget our dear best friend , MR. BEER to lighten up our night.Mr. Beer helps us talk alot of things , from star gazing ( constellation guessing mostly), Cultures of other culture, Science vs. Beliefs,Beliefs and other research , fun facts about stuffs, Facts and research we've learn through internet and best part about with them? weve talked so much but we never really talk about people behind thier back for ou own interest. The group has lot of things to share we can even stay up till morning and talk about random stuffs. But well, we are there to rest and destress so we need to sleep but sleep turns to nap because we will be chasing sunrise in the morning.   Being at the mountain and slept under the sky full of stars is one of best feeling as always and will always crave for that, Always. We are lucky to found campsite that are in our home town that we can always do unplan trips and chill around.Actually it's thier campsite I only join thier group recently for months and they are the best so far. We were lucky coz our campsites is just kilometer away from the heart of catmon. Banana

As I went back to my father’s hometown, Macaas, Catmon I noticed that the land of our ancestors has a portion of horticultured banana plantings. And then I had discovered that way back in 16th century, our ancestors has a number of different bananas and plantains (cooking bananas), boiled  like rice or yams when still unripe, were also categorized as staple food crop. Somehow as I had remembered (if I’m not wrong) in the Philippine history way back in the 16th century where Spaniards regularly praised the flavor and variety of Visayan bananas. Juan Martinez (1567, 456) rhapsodized over their Latin name, musa, “There can be no doubt that they are the very fruit which Jupiter’s nine sisters (that is, the Muses) used to eat in their day, because they gave them the name of musas.”

Like Spaniards, Visayans ate ripe ones as fruit or between-meal snacks,especially the fragrant little ones called todlong binokot, “ladyfingers-- though, unlike them, probably not sprinkled with cinnamon or doused with wine. But the reason they were cultivated so widely was that before ripening, their sugar content was all starch, and so provided a valuable staple of diet.

And later on, through people’s creativity bananas nowadays has been created differently such as banana cake, linusak nga saging, etc.
