I am watching the FatT LP of 999 and —
Taliesin Jaffe as Snake, Nick Kroll as Simon the Devious, and Jonathon West as Idiot Doom Spiral all have the same type of vibe to me
actually Simon the Devious might be the odd one out here in sounding even more perpetually drunk than Idiot Doom Spiral but the vibes are still very similar to me
#it's a specific kind of smooth voiced charisma#ESPECIALLY Idiot Doom Spiral#Disco Elysium's writing is obviously very tight so his lines are already funny but West's line delivery in TFC is truly fantastic#and he really fully realizes Idiot Doom Spiral as a phenomenal storyteller while also being *completely* out of it#nadia rambles#not to be disco pilled but idiot doom spiral's voice acting in the final cut is some of my favorite voice work in any game#much like garrus vakarian or george clooney i could listen to that guy talk for hours
