‘The Lessor Life of Miners’
“Once a Miner, twice a Breaker Bot. Fresh off the belt and newly striped, before they are allowed to be miners, they are Breaker Bots, with pay at two or three shanix a day ( .50 to .75 USD, comparatively), working from before lights on to lights extinguish.
Before lights on, a Breaker Bot has his ration, and then goes down the tunnel ramp to the screen room. He sits on a hard, metal bench across from a long chute, through which passes a steady stream of energon chips.
From the energon, he must pick away pieces of rock, slate, or precious gems, which will be sorted separately from the energon pieces. This work is hard, confining, and irksome in its repetition. A Breaker Bot will often be restricted to an area with between twenty-five to thirty other Breaker Bots, with a few dozen Breaker Rooms to a colony, and about five colonies to each mine.
A Breaker Bot’s servos are notched, as they come off the press, on the outside sides of each palm, which while currently used for measuring chunks of energon and gems, will later be used for measuring up the walls at the site of a vein, or general measuring in a system of ‘servos high’. Over the course of his life, a miner will have these notches redone as his servos are worn smooth from hard labor. However, the process begins as the Breaker Bot works with sharp rock and an unforgiving, rotating belt, or the iron chute, in which his new servos and digits become cut and scarred.
The air vented in the tunnels are all dust and irritants, which, over time, leads to a build up and gradual blockage of the ventilation systems. Typically, these blockages are simply scraped out, and the mech is sent back to work in the same orn.
As a Breaker bot matures, more certain in his work, he graduates to a Door Bot. This is less intensive work, but no less repetitive than the last, as this is a nearly stationary job. He is on servos from the time when the first mining cars pass through the door, and remains until the last one leaves for the orn.
His duty is to open and close the door for cars and mechs all orn, which also controls and regulates ventilation in the mines. Otherwise, a Door Bot is alone in the dark and silence, save for when mechs pass through his door.
These mechs do not read, but they are known to sing, whittle, and whislte to pass the time. A door Bot typically makes four shanix a day.
From this, a Door bot becomes a Driver. Kaoni Mining Hounds, unlike their sleaker hunting cousins, are massive, brutish six-legged creatures made for hard labor, much like their masters.
A Driver will go down to the kennels in time to clean, feed, and harness the hound, and then bring him to the foot of the shaft, hitching him to a trip of empty cars before lights on. The trip of cars varies from four to seven, according to the number of miners working in that area. A Driver leads the hound with the empty cars to the working areas, where the cars are loaded, in which they return to the foot of the shaft. The loads are hoisted to the surface level of the mines, where they are conveyed to the Breaker Bots, where the energon in cracked, sorted, cleaned, and made ready for the market.
These Bots are in constant danger, not only of falling roof, exploding gas, and being crushed by cars, but intensive radiation from underground levels, depending on how far down a Bot is. Infrequently, if a Hound does not like a Driver, he may be bitten, if not outright mauled. Other dangers of the mines include sharp, steep cliffs into nothing, and other miners.
When a Driver is of age, he either becomes a Runner or a Laborer, though the latter is more typical. A Runner’s position is that of a sort of conductor, collecting cars, and directing the Driver traffic. The Laborer is employed by the Miner, which must be approved by a Superintendent, to load the cars with energon which has been blasted by the miner.
He is paid by number of cars done -amount of shanix varies by mine- and a definite number of cars constitute an orn’s work, averaging five to seven, equaling five hundred to fifteen hundred tons of energon. Unfortunately, the Laborer’s job is more challenging due to any number of solvents, which trickle down the cracks of rocks, which can be found in large quanities in or near energon veins.
Every Laborer dreams of becoming a Miner, however, in order to accomplish this, a Laborer must have several Stellar Cycles of experience before he is permitted to be come a fully fledged Miner, which, often time, other Miners find to be a celebratory event, both because they survived long enough to become a Miner, and because there will be new, fresher servos at ready.
If he survives, his work becomes more intensive, and dangerous. Entered into a contract, he is required to do a certain work at so much per car or work yard. He blasts energon, which requires judgement in locating a hole, skill in boring it, and the care in preparing it, as well as the size of the shot. Numbers of blasts can range from four to twelve, depending on the energon vein’s character, and the stability of the cavern, which is also the Miner’s responsibility, as he must prop the walls and roof.
While the Company is obligated to furnish the Miner for needed props the Miner must place the props as directed by the Mine Boss. Miners, however, purchase their own tools and supplies. Oil, powder, soap, and other items are amongst these.
Mining equipment is as follows: a serv operated drill, a larger drill which requires two servos, a needle, blasting barrel, crowbar, pick, shovel, hammer, sledge, cartridge pin, oil can, and a toolbox and lamp.
More often than not, a Miner may walk tens of miles to reach his destination, where he may often spend all orn working until lights extinguish. A Miner spends all of his life in the mines- and most find their final rest there, as well. In fact, a Miner’s life is so dangerous, that he will find that no ordinary life insurance, if they are able to afford such, will take them. In no other place will you find so many broken down mechs.
Once a Miner Begins their work, they continue to live out their commonplace, low leveled existance, ignoring their daily danger, knowing nothing better- a sort of Voluntary Imprisonment.

Market Drivers
A servo press brake is a specific kind of press brake in which the ram is driven down onto the workpiece by a servo motor. Precision, speed, and energy efficiency are all strong points of this kind of press brake. The rotation of a ball screw or belt drive is controlled by a servo motor in servo press brakes. Then, the ram is moved up and down using the ball screw or belt drive. The servo motor is controlled by a computer numerical control (CNC) system, which provides for very accurate control of the ram's location and speed that would fuel the market expansion. Industry 4.0 is a trend towards the automation and digitalization of manufacturing processes. Servo press brakes are well-suited for use in Industry 4.0 environments, as they can be easily integrated with other manufacturing systems. Further, metal bending and shaping procedures must be precise and accurate to meet the needs of manufacturers in all industries. Because of their high levels of accuracy, repeatability, and control, servo press brakes are crucial for sectors like automotive, aerospace, and electronics, which promotes market expansion. Automation is becoming a more common practice among manufacturers. Servo press brakes are simple to integrate into automated production lines, providing better manufacturing flexibility and efficiency that boosts market growth. Servo press brakes frequently include cutting-edge safety features like light curtains, laser guarding, and programmable safety controllers that safeguard operators and reduce workplace accidents, which promotes market expansion.
Market Restraints
Compared to conventional hydraulic or mechanical press brakes, servo press brakes are more expensive. Small and medium-sized firms may find it difficult to enter the market due to this high initial cost. In comparison to conventional press brakes, servo press brakes require more intricate operation and maintenance. Businesses that lack access to skilled labour may find this difficult. Many firms are unaware of the advantages of servo press brakes because they are a relatively new technology. This ignorance may prevent more people from using servo press brakes. Servo press brakes need routine maintenance, just like any piece of industrial machinery, to keep them performing at their best. The productivity of a corporation might be negatively impacted by maintenance expenses and downtime for repairs. In the manufacturing sector, it can be difficult to comply with safety and environmental laws. Companies must invest in making sure that their servo press brakes adhere to all pertinent safety and environmental regulations, which can increase prices and complexity and limit market expansion. Servo press brakes are made from raw materials like steel and aluminium, the prices of which are highly erratic. This may influence servo press brake producers' profitability.
Impact Of COVID-19 On Market
In response to the interruptions in manufacturing processes and the slump in the global economy, the market fell precipitously in 2020. The automotive and aerospace industries, two of the most severely affected by the epidemic, had a particularly sharp fall in demand. The supply networks of the producers of servo press brakes were also affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. This resulted from the travel bans and lockdowns that were enacted in numerous nations. Manufacturers had trouble locating raw materials and components and shipping final goods to clients due to supply chain interruptions. Manufacturers of servo press brakes saw an increase in expenses because of the COVID-19 epidemic. This resulted from rising costs for shipping and logistics as well as raw materials and component prices.
The epidemic hastened tendencies towards remote work and factory automation. Businesses who implemented or strengthened their automation capabilities may have relied more on servo press brakes with sophisticated automation features. Due to a lack of labour and the requirement to put in place social segregation and safety precautions, manufacturing facilities that make servo press brakes and related equipment had to temporarily shut down or restrict their production capacity. Post COVID-19 World Supply & Demand Condition of Global Servo Press Brakes Market The supply and demand situation for the worldwide servo press brakes market after COVID-19 is anticipated to be favourable. It is anticipated that several industries, including the automotive, aerospace, electronics, and construction, will boost their demand for servo press brakes. This is brought on by the expanding need for high-precision metal forming solutions and the manufacturing industry's increased automation. High-precision metal forming capabilities are provided by servo press brakes, which are crucial for several industries, including the automotive, aerospace, and electronics sectors. The post-COVID-19 worldwide servo press brakes market is anticipated to increase because of the rising need for high-precision metal forming solutions. After COVID19 rising markets, including China, India, and Brazil, are growing economically quickly. As a result, manufacturing investment is rising, which is fuelling the demand for servo press brakes. Due to the growing demand for high-precision metal forming solutions and the expanding automation in the manufacturing sector, the market for servo press brakes is anticipated to rise across several industries. As more manufacturers enter the market and raw materials and components become more widely available, the supply of servo press brakes is also anticipated to rise in the post-COVID-19 era.
Impact of Russia-Ukraine Conflict on Global Servo Press Brakes Market
Since the conflict began, the price of steel and other raw materials necessary to make servo press brakes has grown dramatically. This is brought on by a variety of circumstances, including the breakdown of supply networks, rising demand from other nations, and the devaluation of the Russian rubble. Supply chains for servo press brakes and associated parts have been hampered by the conflict. These include the shutdown of enterprises in Russia and Ukraine, the imposition of sanctions on Russia, and the difficulties of moving goods across the area. Due to the crisis, manufacturers are looking for alternatives to Russian and Ukrainian suppliers, which has increased demand for servo press brakes from other nations. This is increasing costs and making it challenging for certain enterprises to get the equipment they require. The world economy is being significantly impacted by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This can be attributed to several things, such as the disruption of commerce, the increase in energy costs, and the drop in consumer expenditure. Businesses are postponing or cancelling investments in new equipment, which influences the market for servo press brakes. Natural gas and other energy resources frequently pass through Ukraine. Global energy prices may rise if there are any hiccups in the region's energy supply. Higher energy costs may have an impact on the running costs of manufacturers and may affect their choice to buy servo press brakes and other machinery.

MPS low-cost variable sleeve technology for packaging with offset printing The offset printing process has been standardized for a long time and is extremely accurate for repeat jobs.
The relatively low cost of producing plates is a significant advantage of offset technology. In offset printing, the quality of the final product is also improved by the application of very fine tones in conjunction with solids, texts, and fine lines. Screen count can be significantly reduced when offset technology is utilized, which is an additional advantage.
In the highly competitive packaging print market, these technology characteristics may play a significant role.
EXL-Offset The EXL-Offset offers variable sleeves for a variety of repeat lengths for both blankets and plates thanks to offset sleeve combination printing. As a result, waste is significantly reduced by this solution.
A wide range of packaging applications, including blisters and lidding, flexible packaging, shrink sleeves, wrap-around labels, and drying options, can be implemented.

DENVER – March 25, 2018 –RiffTrax’s Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett (of Mystery Science Theater 3000® fame) are back in cinemas to celebrate the 10th anniversary of RiffTrax Live with three all-new riffs on what are sure to be fan favorites with “RiffTrax Live: 2019.” Join Mike, Kevin and Bill as they take on B-movie classics: the guy-in-a-rubber-suit creature feature “Octaman,” the Casper Van Dienspace odyssey “Star Raiders,” and new HD transfer of the MST3K favorite “Giant Spider Invasion.”

Deep in the Mexican jungle, a legendary creature lurks in a radioactive swamp. Is it a man? Is it an octopus? No, it’s OCTAMAN! Okay, it’s a man in an octopus suit, but he’s really angry and decides to go on a light killing spree.
A scientific expedition sets out to study this atomic mutant and stop it before it kills again. They’re not very good at it, since Octaman kills quite a lot — probably because THE DUMB SCIENTISTS KEEP STEALING ITS BABIES! It seems there’s no stopping the monster until it develops a crush on the plucky lady scientist Susan Lowry (Pier Angeli) and does what all mutant sea creatures like to do - it knocks her out and carries her away. Will the rest of the team be able to rescue Susan before Octaman picks them all off one by one? Looks pretty doubtful!
Directed by the writer of “Creature From the Black Lagoon,” and featuring costumes and effects by a young Rick Baker, Octaman is a wonderfully awful rubber monster B-movie. Join Bill, Mike and Kevin live as they risk life and limb to deliver the laughs from the clutches of Octaman!
“RiffTrax Live: Star Raiders”
Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 8 p.m. EST/ 7 p.m. CST/ 7 p.m. MST/8 p.m. PST (live)
Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. local time (rebroadcast)
It’s the year 2762. The galaxy is plagued with warring factions using hokey special effects to destroy each other. Out of this chaos a hero rises: the dashing, exquisitely bearded Captain Saber Raine (Casper Van Dien). Saber and his elite squad of commandos (other actors) embark on a dangerous quest to save the Prince and Princess of an unnamed planet from the clutches of the Evil Overlord Sinjin - an overlord so evil HIS VERY SKULL IS FILLED WITH CHERRY JELL-O.
Can our heroes fend off Sinjin’s army of mutant androids and rescue the Prince and Princess? Probably! After all it’s Space Opera, but you never know! Join Mike, Kevin and Bill for an unforgettable Sword-And-Laser Swashbuckling-ly fun time, beamed to theaters nationwide!
“RiffTrax Live: Giant Spider Invasion”
Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT/ 7 p.m. MT/8 p.m. PT (live)
Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. local time (rebroadcast)
The “Giant Spider Invasion,” one of the most popular MST3K movies ever, is coming to a theater near you along with the mighty men of RiffTrax!
There’s a monster in Wisconsin, and it’s going to slowly, VERY slowly, strike TERROR INTO YOUR HEART! Sure, your grandma could outrun it, but TERROR is more fun! When a fiery meteor lands in the woods, strange things begin to happen in this small Wisconsin town — even weirder than usual, and that’s a pretty high bar!
While the townspeople are picked off by spiders of varying sizes, two esteemed scientists ramble around the countryside in a late model sedan, where they find friendship, romance and a big mechanical spider built on a Volkswagen Beetle chassis!
Starring Alan Hale Jr, the (Skipper from Gilligan’s Island), Barbara Hale (Perry Mason, and no relation to the Skipper) and Robert Easton, who’s been in more movies than a No Smoking disclaimer, Bill Rebane’s “The Giant Spider Invasion” explodes across the screen in a pristine new digital transfer. Join Bill, Mike and Kevin as they serve up the cheesiest cheese America’s Dairyland has to offer, LIVE in movie theaters nationwide.
RiffTrax Live, a theatrical comedy experience, is best enjoyed with friends, and so RiffTraxians, MSTies, and comedy fans will meet up in theaters to enjoy the show, live on the big screen. Mike, Kevin, and Bill perform their ultra-funny commentary ("riffing") in front of a live audience, with the resulting hilarity beamed via satellite to cinemas across the nation.
“Fathom is proud to be celebrating a funny and fruitful decade with the RiffTrax crew,” Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt said. “We look forward to continuing our partnership and bringing their unique and hilarious events to fans across the nation.
