#Didn't Julia Jones speak about it once?

Things I sure would love to see in Midnight Sun:

-Rosalie and Edward are having an excellent fight but all of a sudden it turns sweet and they're honest for a second about how much they admire each other

-more everyday Culleny cuteness! I want off-key Esme humming while she reads about how to cook meat because Bella!, more Emmett dreaming up vampire level pranks, more Carlisle having to call out of work because it's tax season and he still runs like 27 identities to keep the philanthropy going, more Rosalie working frantically to get (insert classic car) ready for the show next weekend in Seattle

-a dedication page announcing that all proceeds from the book sales will go to the Quileute Nation's Move to Higher Ground project

-a playfight between Edward, Emmett, and Jasper that starts in the living room and Esme kicks them outside. A canon classic we've never actually gotten to see!

-more backstory more backstory more backstory. And more talking about other vampire friends! Peter and Charlotte's visit was such a good surprise in the first half

-at least four pages of Edward angsting over how to tell Bella about his rebellious years

-Edward and Carlisle debating over souls. It's all been said before but suddenly it's an urgent issue again. Edward scares himself half to death when he begins to worry that Bella might go over his head and ask Carlisle to change her. He tries to extract Carlisle's promise that he won't but Carlisle dodges the question, deeply troubled about the issue himself

-Edward realizing that James recognizes Alice and that's why he's totally OK with her and Jasper being the ones to take Bella away (which otherwise doesn't make a lot of sense)

-Edward staring into his own slightly orange eyes in the hospital mirror and having an angstfest over it

I thought I'd rec some pick a card readers on YouTube. If you've not watched one before they're general audience tarot readings about different subjects/questions. There are many readers, some I watched and resonated with but then... Didn't.

So, my ones I resonate with now:

1. Star Wanderer Tarot - she does DIFFERENT, sometimes darker readings and they do usually resonate. I really like her bc she goes against the traditional mainstream tarot stuff and has livestreams. She read once for me during one. Just think she's authentic and I do like how she reads the cards.

2. Violet's Dream Tarot - the gnome thing put me off at first but she reads cards SO WELL. As in I like how she interprets and explains the cards. She's very positive but also there's a level of deep psychological understanding, connecting the cards to you and an overall message, plus so considerate and very relaxing. I do resonate with most of the readings.

3. Charmed Intuition Tarot - I am a sucker for her themes and energy but admittedly I rarely resonate with the readings, especially the charms and letters and the actual reading of the cards is kinda textbook and superficial. But this is like asmr for me. I enjoy how she changes stuff up. She seems so sweet so I always watch her vids. She's become so popular tho so maybe the pick a cards have to speak to so many people that it's very watered down.

There are others that I kinda was so gung ho for but you start noticing... Maybe they aren't the ones for you. I think depending on your "frequency" you relate more to different readers. I can't explain the science of that but star wanderer and Violet's dream are on my wavelength rn.

Star is kinda billie eilish and Violet might be... uh. Norah Jones? A subdued Julia Michaels? 🤓

Yo, decided to make this a double fanart post, that being to introduce another OC to the G.U.I.L.T reserve team, and show a bit of why James low-key or high-key fears Angie, (despite actually being taller than her, he's actually the same height as Derek at 5'8!)

First I'll cover Wilson Jones, he works in the same department as Victor Niguel, helping the grumpy researcher find ways to come up with G.U.I.L.T treatments, though on the downside Dr. Jones would also try inventing new and improved surgical tools... only for them to nearly always malfunction when Julia tests them in simulations, or he ends up breaking a few of Victor's tools, much to the latter's irritation.

However, even though Dr. Jones can be rather... eccentric, he's also a surprisingly great father, and is actually related to Cody Jones, who I once drew to show an example of James' powers, so when it comes to matters around family life, Jones can be a great father-figure to lean on for the crew, especially James, who he feels indebted to for helping his son get better, and when it comes to serious situations, Jones can really do his job to ensure the patients leave healthy and with a smile.

But speaking of James and how he got into the situation he's currently in, he was outside doing some lightsaber style image training, mostly to get over his anxieties about surgery.

During one of these moments, Angie spotted him, and the boy cockily ended up deciding to challenge Angie to a spar... only to get horribly wrecked when the latter ended up unleashing a powerful aikido counter that sent him flying to the ground, and leaving him seeing stars for a while!

(James didn't know how strong Angie was until that point!)

Sooo yeah, pretty much even though Angie did apologise for accidentally going overboard, James does his absolute best to never, EVER get on Angie's bad side from now on, and should anyone even mention aikido, he'll freeze up and shudder, something that Kira and Tyler tease him to death about, (luckily James didn't sustain much damage from the hard landing, except for his pride!)

Though on a side-note: Kira would end up asking Angie to teach her aikido in future to better guard herself against any threats like Delphi, which also leads to Kira having much more respect for Angie from that point on.
