Summary: Nightwing returns to Titans Tower to see Raven walk in for her morning tea in a Robin t-shirt… his Robin t-shirt… isn’t it?

Raven is on a mission and is dressed up really fancy - she’s gone undercover for an important role

Either robin gets really hot and bothered watching her flirt with someone (a drug dealer or mob boss in r smtg) to get information

Or

Maybe he helps attach equipment (like a listening device or camera) to her outfit/person and tries not to cop a feel/fights off a boner in the process

Dick stood in the small, dimly lit room, adjusting the tiny listening device in his hand. His eyes kept flicking toward Raven, who was standing in front of the mirror, smoothing out the fabric of her dress. It wasn’t the typical uniform he was used to seeing her in, and that was part of the problem. She was undercover tonight, her mission to infiltrate a high-profile mob boss's event and gather crucial information.

Raven rarely dressed up like this, but tonight she looked stunning—elegant in a black gown that hugged her figure just right, the slit revealing a glimpse of her leg as she moved. She wore her hair just the usual, sleek and smooth, her makeup flawless. It was strange seeing her like this, so far removed from her usual composed and stoic demeanor. And it was affecting him more than he wanted to admit.

“Where does this go again?” Raven asked, her voice cutting through his thoughts.

Dick cleared his throat, focusing on the task at hand. He walked over, trying to appear as professional as possible, even as his gaze betrayed him by lingering on her. “Right here,” he said, his voice a little rougher than intended as he leaned in, his fingers brushing her collarbone lightly as he attached the listening device.

She didn’t seem to notice his discomfort, or if she did, she didn’t show it. “You know,” Raven said casually, ���you’ve been staring at my ass since I put this on.”

Dick froze for a moment, his fingers hovering near her neckline. “I—I wasn’t staring,” he muttered, feeling the heat rise to his face as he finished attaching the device.

Raven gave him a look, one brow raised. “So you were looking,” she said, a smirk playing at the corner of her lips.

He swallowed hard, stepping back to give himself some space. He knew he needed to get his head straight before the mission, but the sight of her like this wasn’t helping. And the way she was flirting with the mob boss later—well, that was going to be a whole other problem.

“Are you ready?” he asked, trying to shift the conversation to something safer.

She adjusted her earrings and looked at herself in the mirror. “As ready as I’ll ever be,” she said, her voice softer now. She turned to face him, her expression serious. “You sure you’re okay with this?”

Dick forced a smile, his jaw tight. “It’s for the mission, right?” he replied. “I’ll manage.”

But as he helped her with the last bit of equipment, his hands skimming along her back, he couldn’t ignore the tightening in his chest, or the way his body reacted to her closeness. He fought to keep his focus, but with each small movement, each quiet breath between them, he found himself struggling.

They stood close for a moment, the air thick with tension. Raven, for once, wasn’t teasing or smirking. She just watched him, her eyes lingering on his face as if reading something in his expression that he wasn’t saying out loud.

“Don’t let this mess with your head, Dick,” she said quietly, her voice a little softer than usual.

He nodded, but the truth was, it already had. As he finished up, she gave him one last look before stepping toward the door, her hips swaying ever so slightly. He could already picture her flirting with the mob boss later, using her charm to get the information they needed, and it made his chest tighten.

Before she walked out, she paused and looked back over her shoulder. “Try not to get too distracted,” she said with a small grin.

Dick shook his head, watching her go. Yeah, distracted was exactly what he’d be.

RobRae (Red): Slow, Suck, Neck & Ears

Dick sunk into the overstuffed armchair and let out a low groan. Something in his lower back twinged and he winced in response. His whole body ached after a chase this afternoon that ended with him being thrown against a wall and hit with a purse. Sometimes he really fucking hated being on a beat. 

He ran his fingers through his hair and leaned back into the cushions, taking a slow, deep breath. He felt hands wrap around his shoulders, sliding over his chest. A gentle, soft kind of warmth slid through his body, reading his emotions through touch. He looked up to see Raven hovering over him, her eyes taking in his expression. 

“You look like this day dragged you through the dirt and then spit on your grave.”

He snorted, his hand reaching up to stroke her arm. “That’s a colorful way to put it.” Dick pulled on her arm, kissing the inside of her wrist. “How was your day?”

“Three autopsies today.” She leaned forward and kissed up his neck, nipping at his earlobe. The kiss was slow and languid, as if she had all the time in the world. “I’ll have two more tomorrow morning.” Her weight rested on his shoulders as she continued to kiss and bite at his ear. “I’m not looking forward to it.” 

“Any way I can help take your mind off it? Find something to distract you?” Dick nipped at the inside of her wrist again, her smile pulling at the edge of her lips. 

“I thought you were too exhausted to stand?” Her tongue traced the shell of her ear, her voice dropping low in a soft purr. “Too exhausted to do much besides rest?”

He stood up and turned around to meet her, his thumbs resting in the belt of his holster. “Oh, you should know by now that I can always find energy for you.” 

She laughed and slid her fingers in his waistband, yanking him forward a step. “Is that so?”

He dropped his holster to the living room floor and moved closer to her. “You know it is, Rae.”

Hi to whoever reads this! This fan art is not entirely based off that very wholesome one-shot by nanping, but it's very much inspired by it. It was such a cute fic that helped me unwind when I got stressed , so I just had to draw my OTP! Still, I added my own twist that instead of having it RobRae, I made it adult NightRae with Raven's design based off one of her comic looks from Tom Taylor's Titans. Even if I prefer drawing Rae in long hair with her white cloak, I still find her so cool in this style; I kinda also like that she appeared in the Nite-Mite story with Nightwing and her design is similar to this, so yeah, it's an inspo too lol. In addition, I wanted to pay homage to "The End Part 1" with canon RobRae on the rooftop at sunrise (tho it looks like sunset in mine lol), and decided it'd be cute if they had a moment like this again as adults! Like, RobRae/NightRae/DickRae rooftop scenes are just: ✨✨
