Vance Hopper post revival!

This bombastic loud little man is 14 1/2 years old, he likes hockey, pinball, rock n’ roll, and peanut butter “Koogle”.

I wanted to try and set established designs for the ghost boys after being brought back because I think after having to go through what they did they’d obviously not come back the same in my opinion.

I think post revival Vance would probably take his trauma and turn to smoking, and getting into more fights to try and help his pent anger.

I definitely think he would have a meltdown and cut his hair to gain a sense of control in his life because I think the Grabber grabbed his hair during his time in the basement, and him cutting his hair is a way to take back that control.

I think Vance would have control issues, both before and after dying because of home issues and other things in his life.

I also tried to lean more into the “Billy Hargrove look” because I think it’s cool and I also tried to add more playing card motifs in his design by adding a club necklace and a spade badge on his sleeve.

More ghost boys will come after Vance, I just wanted to show y’all my perspective on the au and how he would look in it ^^

“You got a bug, bro.” Okuyasu pointed out, a finger wiggling behind Josuke’s ear as he went to flick the tiny ladybug away.

“AH!” Josuke yelped, flailing forward as he went to cover his ears.

Silence. The pair looked at one another- one with wide surprised eyes while the other slowly flushed a bright shade of red.

“Did you erm…did you get it?” Josuke asked, hating how nervous he sounded.

“I did…are you afraid of bugs?” Okuyasu asked. Josuke felt his chest release.

“Yes! Yes, I am!” He nodded, running with the lie. “That thing- I hated how much those legs were tickling me-”

“Wait, you’re ticklish there?” Okuyasu blinked again. Josuke internally kicked himself. So close!

“It’s just a saying, bro…” Josuke stepped back as the other began approaching, a mischievous grin pulling at his lips. “Okuyasu…don’t you dare…”

“Dare what? I already got the bug off…or did I?” He raised his hands, fingers wiggling. “More importantly…I didn’t know you were ticklish there!” His stand faded in, swiping its left hand.

“Shi-” Josuke couldn’t finish the cry as the distance between him and Okuyasu shortened, arms coming around his torso, effectively caging him in. “Oku! Okuyasu, don’t you dahhahhhhahahahre!” The shorter boy squeaked and flailed when his friend began puffing air against the back of his ears. “Stahhahahahhaap ihiihiihihit!”

“Oh man! Look how giggly you are!” Okuyasu laughed between puffs, one arm still squeezing him around the middle as his other came up to lightly scratch. “If I'd known of this sooner, I’d be tickling all your mood swings away! Geehehe!”

“Whahhahat the hehehehell does thahahhaht mehehehaan? Gehahahhahaha, Okuhuhuhuhuhu stahhahahahap it!” Josuke cried out, sinking to the floor the best he could. Even then, the other boy followed him down. “Fhiihihihine, fihihihihine you wihihiihihihn!”

“I do? Alright!” Okuyasu cheered, releasing Josuke as he whooped. “Wait- what do I win?”

“A two night stay at the finest five star hotel in Morioh. Hotel La REVENGE!” Josuke shot to his feet, chasing the other down as he booked it away. It wasn’t long before the sounds of their laughter flooded the streets once more.
