Wander (Wander Over Yonder)

He's just such a precious baby boy. He is so legitimately sweet, he loves helping others, and genuinely believes that there is good in everyone. Obviously he's not perfect, he can get too competitive, and can get a lil crazy when he's unable to help, but he's still a very sweet, wholesome baby boy! He also is very optimistic! He doesn't even do it for glory, and if he does get seen as a hero, he doesn't care if the stories they tell are accurate, all he wants is for it to give people hope. He also will risk his life to save and help others, which is just so fucking sweet-

Morty Smith (Rick and Morty)

He's just such an adorable baby boy. Even after spending so much time with Rick, he's still just a genuinely sweet, good-natured kid. He loves animals, wants to do the right thing to a fault, and is just a genuinely sweet, compassionate, adorable, kid. Obviously he makes mistakes and isn't perfect, nobody on this list is. But he's 14, what do you expect? He also killed people buttttt uhhhh MOVING ON, look he's neurodivergent and a minor ok!? WITH REPRESSED RAGE! What do you want from him!?

Tamaki Suoh (Ouran High School Host Club)

MY SON! Yes my bias on this list is very, VERY clear. He is very optimistic, and has trouble seeing the bad in people. Tamaki is just such a sweet guy. He is determined to help others, and just wants to make people happy. He loves his family more than anything, he's an affectionate friend, a loving boyfriend, and just genuinely wants to do right. He loves helping others, is just a geuinely nice guy, and he's really compassionate and just an all around great person. He is very dumb, and can be overdramatic, but he has a heart of gold!

Azusa Mukami (Diabiolik Lovers)

I have no excuse for watching this show- I was hate watching it with a friend ok? And Azusa was the only character I could stand. Now he's a sadist and a masochist because of his tragic backstory. But he's the only character I feel a shred of sympathy for, besides maybe young Laito and Yui. But that's it. He does cause Yui pain, but he thinks pain makes people happy, since he was brutally beaten as a kid and it made people happy. It's a long story- His heart is in the right place, he is very confused, but you can tell that he does think that he is doing the right thing. He just needs a LOT of therapy. He also is the only diaboy besides Subaru that treats Yui with a shred of respect and basic fucking human decency and is really the only decent diaboy.

David (Camp Camp)

He's just such a sweet lil guyyyyyy. Yes he did have toxic positivity, buttttt his heart was in the right place, and he does eventually get out of that mindset. He is just a genuinely good person, he's an animal lover, he actually cares about the camp, the staff, and the campers, even putting Max above the approval of his father figure. And he can't bring himself to harm another living being, even if they hurt him, which is just so fucking pure and wholesome. He also is incredibly optimistic. I love this man.

yall can’t handle a flawed character 💀 get a grip

I told myself I wouldn't respond to this buttt here we go. Look, if you don't like my blog, that's fine, you don't have to look at it, but saying that we don't like flawed characters is pretty ridiculous, I like Rick Sanchez, he's actually my favorite character in Rick and Morty, I know he's an asshole and a horrible person, I'm not going to defend him, I like him because he's complex, he always claims that he doesn't care about anything, but shows time and time again that he does, ohhh yeah also spoilers for Rick and Morty season 5 (Go watch it it's really good) anywayyyyy, it's because of his trauma with his wife Diane and Beth after they were killed in front of him, he has a backstory that makes you feel sympathy for him, but they never try to jutisfy his actions, he frequently gets called out and people have left him because of how toxic he is, I like Courtney, she's my favorite character from Total Drama, she's deeply flawed and is very controlling but I still like her because I find her entertaing. Azusa from Diabiolik Lovers, he hurts the people he loves because has the wrong idea about love, I know he's a bad person, please don't try and assume we don't like any flawed character, we just don't act like when they are immediately forgiven and how the show acts like they did anything wrong.
