Children of Dionysus have sharp teeth. Either Alastor or Charlie type teeth. Dez and her twin brother have these and black wings. Their mother, Roxanne, is a child of Thanatos. Since he's a minor god, monsters are less attracted to her, so she never knew, but the black wings were in her genes. Roxanne did not have them, though.

They also have horns, pointy ears, and grapevines that randomly grown in their hair and around their body when they feel an extreme emotion they can't handle very well. Yeah, they're good actors, but it's chaos when they get extremely happy or mad. Or express any emotion that deeply affects them. And maybe strawberry vines. They pull a Charlie Morningstar when they're mad; horns grow, eyes light up in anger, wings grow in size. They hide most of their traits if possible. They can hide their wings, but it takes up too much energy to do that. The only times they need to is when they're leaving camp, the likely chance they'll need their powers. Hiding their wings doesn't take up too much energy, but if they use their powers while hiding wings, it drains twice as fast. They don't hide em' camp. They don't leave camp much, so they don't worry about it too bad. Until they have to leave. They choose not to hide them, and cover em' up with a jacket or something and hope no mortal notices. They are definitely obsessed with Maximum Ride and hawks.

Their cabin marvel person is Wolverine. They claim Deadpool, but Apollo cabin and the rest of the cabins agreed that Deadpool is off limits but, much like their father, they're not a stickler for rules and off-limits things. Like certain nymphs... and Deadpool.

Tried to create sim versions of my BG3 boys. I'd say they turned out quite nicely! Need to tweak eyes, tattoos, outfits and other fun stuff, but if nothing else these are some lovely sim boys.

okay so, Dionysus definitely cares about the campers and the camp itself.

It shows when he heals Chris Rodriguez from the bout of insanity, it shows when he grieves for Castor and asks Percy to look after Pollux.

I like to think his kids also care like that

they care so deeply for their close friends and family that it hurts sometimes

Dionysus can't show it normally anymore because he's seen so many hopeful kids get their spirits crushed.

he's also seen them die. countless times.

if gods could dream, Dionysus would be plagued with haunting nightmares.

Dionysus kids are really good with plants, but not as good as Persephone or Demeter kids

They're also the type of people who say "I listen to anything!" for music and they mean it.

They have the best outfits. Sorry, cabin 7, but their fits slay, hardcore.

The cabin has all the best quality "Slime tutorials" of your favorite musicals. You do have to take some chores off their camp chore list to get the footage though.

Grayson is genderfluid, and so while he definitely prefers masc terms and whatnot there are days he goes all out with dresses and skirts and he literally slays

Castor will definitely go all out with a skirt, but dresses are a different story.

Dionysus secretly encourages his kids to break the gender normality.

Dionysus is definitely also a hands on dad, He tries so hard to be there for his kiddos before they reach camp age

in my story, the twins are at camp as early as 9 years old, simply for two reason- hella powerful and bonding time with Grayson

but, Dio was there, giving the twins mother (I've named her Marryane Moncharm) any help she needed.

At camp, he's attentive with his children, listening to their issues, giving advice if they want it and a distraction if they need it.

He will, however, tell his children that silly drama is below him before helping.

Dionysus has a secret obsession with dad jokes

think Patton from sander sides, but way more disgruntled and gruff than typical.

Dionysus has made Zeus tell a dad joke without realizing it, and to this day, it is his best achievement ever.

Has a shirt that says "Dad jokes? I think you mean Rad Jokes." and will wear it unironically.

as for his actual cabin and how I picture it.... that's a whole different set of headcanons.

I've previously said I think the cabins got a major upgrade at the end of the titan war thanks to annabeth, I believe.

prior to that, Cabin twelve feels the most homely.

there's no big harsh lighting. only soft warm lighting.

the beds have the best bedding ever, like it's so cozy

What was Nevin doing to try to save Drew? Is he okay after some of his branches got crushed in the fight? Will he ever manage to come back or is Nevin just deep in denial?

Overall I really like your au, and I’m happy to see you again too! Your monthly posts are always nice.

I don't know what warnings to do this time so I'm just gonna say that if you couldn't read the fic thing, do not proceed. Also because spoilers ig.

First I'd like to reiterate that the second part of that fic thing was very experimental. So nothing about that is certain whatsoever and I was mostly just going for vibes for it, to test out the potential bad ending that I really want to make work somehow. So I can give you some hypothetical answers, but unless I can successfully make most of the other events in that ending not horribly out-of-character, that ending might not even be real. The entire bad ending is based on this one bit of animation I have in my head and am very slowly drawing out. I'm hoping if I can show how cool it looks I won't have to justify the character actions /hj. I also just do not have any ideas for another ending so I am desperately trying to make 'twist' villain Isaac Beamer somehow work. That's most of the reason that I'm focusing so hard on curses and such right now; getting the essentials done will make writing the story a little easier. Maybe when I finally have a curse for Dez (I'm accepting suggestions; Echos and I have nothing), I'll magically have a whole new ending thought up.

Anyway, hypothetically, Drew's probably fine after the fight. It was painful, yeah, but the branches will grow back.

Now I'll move onto the things centered around the first half, since that one's a little more final.

Drew probably can't come back? I mean, it could be cool if there's some kind of ritual to move his consciousness somewhere else, but his body's irreparable.

You didn't ask but I'll also add that he and the branches can be killed, via burning or something like that, but Nevin's not likely to let that happen.

Nevin is very deep in denial, and for the most part doesn't have any ideas other than praying and such. He refuses to move on from Drew's loss for a few reasons. First of all, of course, Drew's his twin brother. Secondly, ever since the incident, his life has basically entirely centered around it. The incident is what made him turn to religion (and just so he can keep the extra bit of trauma, in place of his step-mom we'll say the first couple churches weren't exactly kind about his curse - or his being gay, for that matter), and religion is obviously why he thinks the branches are a miracle keeping Drew alive. The incident is why he became homeschooled and rarely left his house for so much of his life, and started hyper-focusing on Drew instead of making connections or getting hobbies. Speaking of hobbies, his curse in general also made it difficult to start any of those. Most of his life has just been getting control of his powers, religious stuff, thinking about Drew, repeat (though Grandma Jovel was eventually successful in getting him interested in cooking and spoken poetry). So he can't fathom the idea of letting Drew go.

When he meets Chris, Nevin gets really excited about the possibility that Chris or Charlie could communicate with Drew, and from there they could work something out. So Nevin starts hanging around Chris, invites him over, and you've seen the rest. Info-dumping about Drew was basically Nevin trying to get Chris to see why this is so important. He could just say "he's my baby brother and i love him and you should love him too", but in true writer fashion, he takes the "show, don't tell" route.

So, yeah, that's basically the closest thing Nevin has had to a plan. I mean, now that I brought up the idea of there being some sort of demonic ritual to transfer souls or whatever, it could be cool to have Nevin go against his morals and try demony stuff, but then I'd have to add so many more eggpire fansongs onto my curse!ibvs playlist. I've already got five, I don't think I should go any deeper.

NEVIN BIG BROTHER INSTINCT

Nevin knew at times he could be overbearing, and he wished he didn't have to be. But Drew somehow always managed to get himself into trouble. Which was why, despite his dislike for the people Drew was choosing to surround himself (and also partially because Chris was going), he had decided to join them on their stupid investigation. He had an awful sinking feeling something bad was going to happen. And he knew Drew wouldn't listen to his request for him not to go. So the only remaining option was to suck it up for Drew's sake... and go along. They found themselves in the woods searching for some abandoned place. Nevin didn't really care too much about the details, he was more focused on watching over Drew. He knew Chris was talking to him, but he barely registered what he was saying. " Nevin?...Hey Nev, are you listening?" He looked up at that. "Oh huh? Sorry, what was that?" He asked. "...are you okay?" He asked. "You look kinda.. tense?" He suggested like he wasn't certain if that was the right word. "I'm fine." he insisted firmly. "I just don't trust this..." Chris nodded at that, still seeming worried. He'd learned to pick his battles when it came to Nevin and his issues. There were times to push and times to leave it, and now? Now was definitely not a push moment. Drew looked like he was having fun. Chattering away and excitedly rushing to keep up with the others. God did, Nevin wish he could just be happy that Drew was enjoying himself. He truly did want that... he just, he couldn't trust it.

They'd found it, a large rundown building that looked like it'd fall apart at any moment. Nevin didn't say a word, but he knew Drew saw the look he gave him, and he definitely saw the look Drew returned. He sighed and let himself be herded along into the building by the rest of the group. He decided he'd just stick close, as everyone explored. "It smells like shit in here." Isaac grumbled, his face souring just a little more than usual. "Yep," Ed replied, making a popping noise on the p. "So what exactly are we looking for?" Chris asked "Supposedly theres a super powerful tome hidden here! Louis wants us to get it for him so he can strengthen his magic!" Dez proceeded to yammer on and on excitedly for the next 15 minutes as they explored each floor. Finally they'd arrived at the top floor. The group had split up into two's, Chris and Isaac, Dez and Ed, and Nevin and Drew. As the twins made their way off away from the rest, Nevin finally voiced his concerns. "This is a bad idea, I don't like it here. This place looks like it'll topple any second, Drew." Drew turned around to face the other with a huff. "You think everything is a bad idea! you don't like anything!" he retorted rather hashly. Nevin looker startled for a moment before he pressed again. "I'm just trying to keep you safe, Drew! You shouldn't be messing around with this stuff!"

"YOU SHOULDN'T BE MESSING WITH MY LIFE NEVIN!" he shouted, gaining the attention of everyone there. "Dre-" He started. "NO! no, I'm sick of this, I didn't even want you to come! I knew you'd ruin it! You always ruin everything!" he snapped, and he felt a pang of guilt when he saw the way Nevins face immediately fell at his words. Maybe he'd been a little too harsh.? He adored his brother, but Nevin was just so much sometimes. He could only take so much. Nevin seemed incapable of responding to that, and it seemed he wouldn't be given any time to do so either as one single step from Drew made the ground begin to rumble and give way. Nevin didn't think twice. He never did when it came to Drew "MOVE." he shouted, and before Drew could respond, he'd shoved the other away as hard as he could before the ground gave out at last. Drew coughed and choked on dust as he pushed himself up from where he'd been thrown to the ground. The room was silent as the building settled again. He looked back at the others in a dazed manor, each of their faces a ghostly white, and then as his focus returned to the now caved in floor and the ringing in his ears cleared, it hit him... "N...nev..?" He called out, met with total deafening silence... no... "...NEVIN!?"

Heather Devlin (she/her) - 28 y.o. horror author who recently quit her day job to focus on writing and her twin daughters she's expecting. Excited to be a parent but dreading the day she has to hide all her horror tapes from the kids.

Lou Devlin (he/him) - 109 y.o. half-vampire gentleman working the most generic office job in a desperate attempt to be a regular dude. Unfortunately he has that Nosferatu posture.

Angelica Dreyfus (she/her) - 30 y.o. dessert chef at a fancy restaurant. She technically came from a different story, but I like doing crossovers for her to hang out with Heather.

THE HUMANS

Dina Malcolm (she/her) - childhood friend of Heather who's happy to reconnect with her.

Claire Herzen (she/her) - centuries ago this lady said "fuck it" and ran off into the woods to go hook up with a vampire. Decades later she died of old age as the mother of two half-vampire kids, Benny and Jude.

THE VAMPIRES

Beau Rowan (he/him) - slightly overprotective vampire father of Dez, Benny, Jude, and Lou. Just got out of his coffin for the first time in a few decades, and he's trying to reorient himself to the 1980s.

Dez Sandor (she/her) - eldest daughter of Beau and the one that unfortunately turned him into a vampire. She's spent the centuries chasing her passion for artwork and now claims to be the latest in a family line of painters, all of whom are just her in the past of course.

Benny Herzen (he/him) - half-human former ballet dancer who now works as a photographer, as well as a bit of vampire-hunting on the side with his roommate, Veronica.

Jude Herzen (he/him) - half-human younger brother of Benny who now works at a video rental store, mostly for the employee discount though.

Sandy Hart (she/her) - actually the vampire who turned Dez. After a lot of messy break-ups she is now happily married to Angelica and has three pet cats.

Destiny 'Dez' Fischer!

She has a twin brother and is a child of Dionysus. Has a half-brother-same mortal parent, different godly parent- his name is Dante.

Her twin has no name yet, but I'd like it to start with a D. They are quarter British; over half Greek as when Roxanne met Dionysus, Dionysus's wife, Ariadne, was with him. By godly power, they had a child with her. Which gave some of Ariadne's godly DNA to them, but Dionysus's overpowers hers because he did most of it(I am not going into that...maybe). Basically, Ariadne was attracted to Roxanne, but she pulled an Athena and made some of her DNA go into the child(they didn't know it was twins), which made the kids have some of her DNA.

Dez's personality is much like Dionysus. Her twin brother is somewhat like that, but he's more laid back and calm.

Roxanne sat at a bar, asking for her next drink. Her sight was going in and out of focus; she was on her- what? She can't remember what drink she was on. As the bartender gave her drink to her, a couple slipped in the formally empty seats to her left. She didn't pay much attention to them; she sluggishly picked up her drink and began glugging it. As she drained her bottle, the couple beside her started sending glances over at her. She ignored them, slammed her glass down, and ordered another one. Someone shuffled behind her and sat beside her on her right. She realized, glancing over, it was the lady sitting beside the man on her left. But now she was sitting beside her. Why?

The lady, the rather beautiful lady, smiled at her. She glanced to her left, to deeply regret it. The man was staring at her, too. This bar... usually attracts creeps, but she still felt slightly confused. The man leaned toward her, and she noted he was quite handsome. He had pitch black curly hair, that was long enough to curl behind his ears. It was... extremely curly. He had gentle yet fierce purple eyes.

She felt a breath behind her, and a finger graze lightly over her neck and jawline. Her breath hitched; she knew it was the lady.

'Hello, what's your name?' The lady asked.

Roxanne turned her head around, moving out of the lady's reach. 'Why should I tell you?' She replied.

'Fair enough. I'm... uh, Ari.' The lady, 'Ari', seem to lose her cool but then smiled once more, the red lipstick looking gorgeous on her. Roxanne shook her head, frustrated with herself. She's not gay! Why is she starting to feel attracted to this woman? She's like a magnet...

'I'm D. Ari is my wife.' The man behind her spoke, his voice oily. Roxanne swiveled around to look at him.

'Why are ya'll bothering me if you're married?' She questioned.

'Because,' Ari spoke, 'we are both attracted to you.'

'Oh.' Roxanne said, at loss for better words. Roxanne felt her face heaten up as realization sunk in. They liked her. As in... attracted to her, wanting to... she refused to finish that sentence.

'Look... there's rooms upstairs here. We can sense the heat radiating off of you, and the blush is obvious on your pretty little face... we could head upstairs, and you know...' 'D' spoke, smiling wildly at her. She felt anxious, but didn't want to refuse. She whispered, 'uh- sure..?'

'Great! Let's go up, then. D already has a room for us.' 'Ari' spoke behind her, gently grabbing Roxanne's hand.

'Oh! And what's your name?' 'D' asked.

So... I love everything about you and your amazing work..... but since when does Edix have sisters?? May I have their names? (Please tell me they don't kill anyone) And one more little request..... May I be allowed to give you a bear hug and tell you how much I adore you? Maybe I can transform into a Venandi and then give you the hug. Or would you prefer a nose/chest hug from an overstimulated tiny?

LMAO yeah he's always had sisters, I think I've mentioned them existing a few times years ago in Tumblr asks, but since I haven't worked on the Star Wars Rip Off series since then they've never really come up again.

Their names are Meeli and Dez and they're technically his "older" sisters who always hold that over him (they're triplets, he was born last). Twins and triplets are more common for Venandi compared to humans. He texts them more often than he sees them since his job has him offworld half the time and even when he's home, he lives in the city while they live further out in the countryside near their parents, so it's only big family events he'll bother going all the way out there for.

And no, they don't kill anyone, they're not enlisted in the Unidex services (: Not that they care that their brother does anyways. They keep teasing him more recently because "the baby finally got a baby!!" when he sent them pictures of Jacob

Can you tell us more about Dez and Edi?

Dez is taller than Eddie but still shorter than Pierre while Edi would be taller than diva but shorter the Eddie

The twins would still have the same personality, only like one change to Dez being more flirtatious and horny, also probably more reckless

They still have the same sibling bond as Eddie and Diva, Edi taking care of Dez a lot still

Dez’s full name is actually Desmond while Edi is Edith!

What is something about Mara that people wouldn't expect looking at her?

I like to think that the Panthera we see, she exudes Power & Strength when you look at her. Though she has the second class of Solo (canonically, ofc) and is very capable of being sent in alone to get the job done, she still very much leans on her friends, family, and teammates.

She would be nothing without them, literally nothing. One of her biggest fears is being left behind, since she was 8 years old, she's chased and desperately clung to the Adams Twins, too afraid of being alone. Girl got Abandonment issues. ...wonder where she got that from?

Night Raid and all its members have helped Mara see her true potential and has shown her theres no way she can do this all alone. Gordie, Dez, Mara, J I H Z Z Y, even if he doesn't have the killswitch virus, need each other to get through this. They've faced beak odds before all the while knowing that any second will be the last, with the increased threat of whatever dangerous Gig the crew is taking on.

However, theres no one in the world that Mara leans more on than her husband Rockerboy and NR crewmate J I H Z Z Y. On the battlefield, he may seem clumsy, uncoordinated, and honestly a risk to everyone with him being around during high pressure situations... However, behind closed doors. No one holds this powerhouse together better than him.

From the moment the two met, it was almost something electric charged when their eyes met, and their time working together, J I H Z Z Y got the chance to see the real beauty in her heart, how alive she is when she's doing what she loves. He seen this incredible warrior of a woman, who forged herself through her hard work and devotion. Without his arms to retreat to when the fear grows too much of when her expiration date is to come, without his words echoing strongly in her mind.

OC Names Tag Game

I have many, so I'm including a few

ABRIELLA - French meaning "God is my strength". She is the Royal Princess of Heaven and the literal granddaughter of The Divine, aka God. Very fitting for a Horseman.

DEACON - Messenger/Servant. Again he is a Horseman and, grandson of God. While not on the level of Abriella and Cruz, his position within the court and under Div is often that of a Messenger.

CRUZ - Iberian meaning "Cross". It is debatable whether this describes his demeanor or more. Once more it hearkens back to his relationship to Div and position as a Horseman of War.

OLLY - "Elf Warrior" in Welsh and English. Where Elf comes in, that is yet to be revealed in the story, but Warrior is clear in that he is the Horseman of Conquest.

RAGUEL/ARIOCH - these are the Catholic canonical Angel of Righteous Vengeance and Demon of Revenge. As these are related in name, I made them twins separated by the Fall.

ADRIEL - Catholic canonical Angel of Death and Destruction. As Abriella is the Horseman of Death and Cruz of War, which brings destruction, this made logical sense to be her "adoptive father", which is of him as well.

DEZ - "Lord of Light" in Haitian and "Desired One" in English. He is sarcastic and tends to be the slightly more positive of the group in dark times. As for desired, well he certainly thinks he is. :)

TALON - French and English for "claw of a bird of Prey", often described as - while the eyes of a falcon are quick and cunning, it is the claw that seize and kill. In this, Talon's name is quite apropos. He tends to let his actions speak for him and can be more brutal when in battle than some of the others. He is also second to Abriella in being an astute tactician and setting traps is one of his specialties.

MITHOS - Greek meaning myth or story. Mithos was the first to swear allegiance to Abriella and has shown himself faithful on more than once occasion. Some would say his devotion to his Queen is that of myth/legend, such as when he protected her in the realm that they rescued Talia from and when he offered to trade his own life for hers when all though Abriella dying.

THINIUS - Variation of Norwegian name Tinius - meaning "strength, force, help". Could there be a better name for a demonic knight with a powerful allegiance to Abriella who would come to be the Co-Captain of her Personal Royal Guard along with Mithos?

These are the ones I've been writing for many years, but I promise you they all have reasons and meanings behind them.

🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

Desmond has a rival!…sort of. it’s mostly one sided, but he has a rivalry with his classmate Sophia Wexler who’s super jealous of him cuz SHE wanted to be Maya’s protégé for the longest time and then all of a sudden he showed up and took that away. which makes Dez feel guilty about the whole thing so he goes along with whatever she ends up getting him to do in order to prove whoever’s intellectually superior or wtv

Francis has a one-sided rivalry as well eventually with her twin, Oz, cuz Ozzie wants to retain his place as dad’s #1 so to speak- Francis could honestly give absolutely zero fucks about impressing Azelfafage tho so :/ poor Oz ig

Maya’s rivalry is with Carson and it’s super homoerotic and kinda childish tbh like ladies, LADIES. you’re BOTH horrible people lol

Carmine’s rivalry is purely with the other members of the League cuz nobody there thinks he should have ANY power over the criminal underworld tbh. but no one is really gonna stop him from getting what he wants

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

Desmond farms goldfish! or at least he used to…now he’s trying to find something new to get into! Sophia accidentally gets him into trading card games, and eventually he starts collecting figurines

Francis believe it or not likes to draw! it’s usually scribbles and doodles tho, a lot of it is just drawing dicks on the side of buildings and whatnot but if she can manage to get herself into a good headspace she can churn out some pretty decent art

Maya loves dancing. going out to nightclubs. gambling. hitting on and showing off to women at the roulette wheel. anything that has to do with luck and showing off, etc. other than that, cooking!- which she doesn’t really often bother to do but she does enjoy it when she can

Carmine genuinely loves bowling actually. like he wouldn’t have chosen it as a front if he didn’t love it, he spends more time at CHL than his own nightclub tbh…but other than bowling, he likes card games and golf. you know, old man shit

So....onto the writing...

Future chapter when Kellen arrives in Imperium to meet Abriella:

Arioch looked at his twin standing next to him and smirked.  “Ready to put on a show, brother.”  Since Brie had become regent of Imperium, the twins had been working on meding millenia of issues between them.  The Fallen of Revenge and the Angel of Righteous Vengeance had mended some fences, but that did not mean that everything was perfect.  

“This should be fun.” Raguel chuckled as he looked over at the male that was his mirror image except for the scar that he, himself, had given his twin when he had kicked him out of Heaven when Arioch fell with Lucifer.  “Can’t say life with Five Horsemen and a shit ton of demons is ever boring, but I do love when the idiots come and try to impress Brie.”  The angel shook his head.

“It makes me all warm and fuzzy to watch her stomp on their little egos and turn it all to dust.”  Arioch grinned then chucked then put his hand on the handle to the door that he would open.  Raguel’s hand was already on the handle to the one next to him.  “1...2...3…”

The brothers stepped back to swing the doors open together in unison.  They’d practiced this a few thousand times when deities and royalty from various realms had started making appearances.  It was almost habit now.

“King Kellen Cythraul of Uffern and Chancellor Grae Drwg, you have been granted an audience with Queen Abriella Estephania Bethania Engel and King Cruzantheon Alexadre Demetrios Engel.  Come forward and state your business.”  Lucifer’s voice echoed throughout the Throne Room.

The throne room was elegant.  The floor was black marble, the walls a white marble with black veins running through it,  and the ceiling a polished hematite that acted almost as a mirror.  Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, illuminating the room and making all surfaces almost seem to glow.  At one end of the room were three steps up to a platform.  In the middle of that platform was Brie’s throne.  Elegant black marble that was fit to her perfectly, and she was seated upon it in a gown that was peacock blue.  If she were to move it would shift from a brilliant turquoise to a deep purple.  It was sleeveless and had a sweetheart neckline before having a full skirt like something out of a princess movie.  She hated it, and hated all of the pins that were holding her hair in some complicated updo even more.  Next to it stood Cruz.  At each of the front corners stood one of her grandfathers.  Slightly behind Lucifer and Div stood the other two Horsemen, Olly and Deacon.  Behind her throne stood her Guard flanked by Dez and Talon.  All of them were dressed elegantly, and all were well and obviously armed.

As Kellen and Grae entered and walked towards the throne, flanked by Thinius and Mithos, Lucifer had to fight smirking.  It was clear that the King was irked.  Lucifer wasn’t sure if it was something Thinius had said, which wouldn’t surprise him, or if it was that Lucifer was standing there free, but it did make the Prince smug that Kellen’s plan was already not going well for him.
